I booked this for our daughter, so can only go on what she has told us. She loved the room, kitchenette, swimming pools & sauna. We all enjoyed exploring the local area by bike. The bikes hired from here were very good quality.

We wanted to join in with the sauna and indoor pool, but could only pay a monthly fee, no daily fee offered. Maybe an idea for the winter months? The facilities here are very good.

Cabanas, Location of club on coastline, Cabanas beach, Helpful staff, Complex and room largely well maintained and clean with fittings in good order. Power shower with plenty of hot water.

Both internal and external sound insulation sub-optimal. Kitchenette is small.

Room equipped with a water kettle, toaster and mini-kitchen with cutterly. Room with balcony and black-out curtains. Boat to other side-beach included. Swimming pools and other facilities available, but only open from 10 am off season. Part of a nice small village. Environment with plenty of nature and wide beaches.

The boat to the beach came later. The indoor swimming pool needs maintenance. Poor water care of the jacuzzi: best to avoid as it needs replacing filters to clean the cloudy/turbid water and smell.

Stayed in apartament N301A very nice, new furbishing, quiet, huge terrace. Washing machine available. The apartment belongs to a private person but it´s managed by the hotel. Cleaning service every 2 days. The pool area very cool, there is a large area with shallow water for babies and small children. Entertainment staff very friendly and fun. There is a kids club every day from 10h to 12h and then from 15h to 18h with activities with the staff. The hotel provides a shuttle boat over to the beach nearby (2 min by boat, then about 10 minutes walk to the beach).

No elevator in the building, the apartment is on the 3rd floor. Kitchenette area very tiny, would have loved to have a few more plates and some mugs to drink a tea or coffee (there were only 3 plates and 3 glasses available for the 3 of us, no mugs). A sponge and dishwashing liquid could be provided. The people are inconsiderate, even though there are signs for not reserving the lounge chairs, they still do. They leave their towels on the chairs and go away for hours, and sometimes we couldn´t get a chair for ourselves even though there were only a few people in the pool.

Overall the apartments were very clean, comfortable and the choice of pools great. Free boat transfer to/from nearby beach was good albeit long queus at times. Short walk to a choice of restaurants, bars , cafes and shopping in Cabanas as well so really good location.

The health club was closed when we stay due to an electrical fault. The entertainment was fun but not enough english or other languages spoken for non-portuguese guests to totally understand what was going on. More information around the flexible dining options would also be good.

The room was a good size and the kitchen had most things we needed - although there are no cleaning products/bin bags/dishwasher tabs/tea towels etc so you will need to bring those yourself. We had the breakfast and dinner meals included and the buffets were really good. Always stocked up and a vegetarian option each day as well as rice, soup, pasta, salad etc. The resort has lots of facilities like male and female sauna and steam rooms, an indoor pool, outdoor basketball court, volleyball court and two outdoor pools. There is also a free boat to the beach. The beach is beautiful, long and sandy. The resort is close to Cabanas village which has a Spar and some good restaurants if you need an alternative to the buffet at the resort. There is also a good bike rental shop in Cabanas where you can hire good quality children's bikes as well as adults and our family enjoyed the short-ish cycle to Tavira. There is bike rental at the resort but only adult bikes.

A bridge to the beach would be amazing as the boat only starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm so you can't just walk down to the beach for sunset. We found an old sock under our bed but generally the standard of cleaning was good.

The location was great. The view from the cafe was stunning, especially at sunset. There is a private boat to the beach. Staff on reception, in the cafe and cleaning crew were very friendly. I priced long-term stay as it was winter but not discounted for longer stays. Unfortunately, it is priced above other properties in the area. But for a short holiday, it is worth it.

The hotel boat guy is a bit of a grump. I got the boat over and back twice. The first day, Bom Dia was ignored. A couple got on the boat after me, and he responded to them with a Bom Dia. I made it very clear the next day, just in case he hadn't heard me the previous day, but still nothing. 2 young German men got on, after me, and he immediately said good morning before they said anything?? What gives?

Everything was EXCELLENT! The whole resort is in a gorgeous location of a petit fishing village. There's a charming promenade by the water, lots of restaurants nearby. At the resort you have a free access to the indoor & outdoor pool, jacuzzi and 2 diferentes saunas and there's a lot of activities in the high season, would recommend for families with kids. Room was spacious and well equipped, very comfy bed. Very nice and helpful people at the reception. Can't wait to come back!

Everything was perfect!

Apartment was very clean with sheets changed twice a week and fresh towels every second day.

The distance from the reception and entrance. Also I have serious mobility problems and asked for a suitable apartment. We were allocated one on the 3rd floor with no lift. I had a mobility scooter which we couldn’t get into the building. Eventually after being shown a 3rd apartment we took that. However, we still couldn’t get the scooter into it as there were 4 steep steps up to it. Also I asked for a walk in shower but got one over the bath which I couldn’t use. The reception staff were extremely rude and unhelpful.

Easy access to the beach and having all amenities in hand. Great team,totally made our stay worth.

It’s not actually a fenced hotel. Just the pool and facilities are gated. The stay takes place in like living blocks and there are cars and other people around the apartments,which at times makes it noisy.
