Where to start? I generally avoid hotels, no ideea why i have chosen this one..just luck. it is spotless, all the personall is present but discrete. Rooms are large, clean. Nice bathrooms. Pools are so nice, internall one was my favorite. Breakfast is nice,many choices. We had dinner at the hotel,verry nice food. And all thea areas to explore arround.. just wow.

Breakfast was generous and tasty. Location was in the country, which is what we were looking for. Services (like laundromat, pharmacy, etc.) were in a town about 15 minutes away. Very quiet. Beautiful pool outside and very warm pool inside, as well as a sauna. We were greeted personally by the owner when we arrived, who insisted on taking our bags to our room. All the staff spoke very good English and were friendly and helpful.

I noticed a few things that needed attention, like light bulbs that were out, and the shower near the sauna was working. Perhaps they could devote a little more attention to that kind of thing. But the room and whole property were very clean, which is even more important to us. Also, although they say they're a full-service spa, a massage is only possible on Saturdays, at least for now.

Excellent staff! Very very helpful, kind, concerned. Always happy to accommodate any requests. Restaurant was nice food, again excellent staff. Efficient. My only suggestion would be to broaden the menu with more chicken options;) But lovely food. Pools, little farm with farm animals which my daughter loved, a little river: stream ran through thr property. They had an ice cream counter which was amazing 😅

I felt the location was a bit remote but having said that it was beautiful!

The rural, peaceful location, with fantastic views. The included breakfast and convenience of on-site restaurant. The parking was excellent.

It’s a minor point, but the chlorine odour trapped in the indoor pool was very intense. Maybe a little more ventilation would be better. But it is just a thought not a real negative.

Breakfast was very nice, I made a massage with Raquel and it was amazing. Very friendly staff. We look forward to return during summer time to try the outdoor pools. The landscape is amazing.

The temperature inside de indoor pool was too high and it felt uncomfortable.

Loved the staff, they were very helpfull, friendlly and respectfull. The food was superb! We dinner at the restaurant and it was very good!

The spa facilieties were closed, the sauna was closed. And the playgroung for kids.

Wonderful Douro view. Lovely swimming pools and excellent service. Very good breakfast buffet, and nice and personal service from the restaurant. VERY pet friendly. And with a charging station for electric cars!!!

Nothing not to like, really. I would have liked to have an option for gluten free bread (shouldn't cost so much to have something half baked in the freezer). But I did not leave hungry.... :-)

The facilities are excellent. Difficult to find within the price range. Excellent place to stay. The dinner was amazing and a good price range for a hotel.

No negatives, maybe the breakfast can have gluten free / lactose free options.

The hotel is really great, The place is really amazing, very well designed and has a very nice atmosphere, The crew is very welcoming and helping

We could feel we were there in the off season. We had limited things like the bar. The breakfast is not so rich, The dinner was a bit expensive.

Receptionist not very friendly, maybe due to language. No fares offered with cancellation option during reservation, while prices are fluctuating heavily every single day
