Sophia was at the hotel reception when we checked In. she welcomed us with a big smile and explained effectively the hotel rules. when we came to the room we asked for 2 single blankets for the bed instead the big one. No problem answered Sophia in the reception, and after 2 minutes she came with the blankets, she took the big one, and she herself arranged the blankets in the bad. Later, the bathroom was flooded with water by mistake. We called the reception to Sophia, she came immediately to see, and after 2 minutes she returned with tool and dried the bathroom. We were at the hotel for 3 nights and every time we passed near the reception Sophia was there interested our wellbeing with her big smile. But if you think you've seen everything of Sophia you're wrong . just before we had to do checkout , we got a massage from the airline that out flight back home delayed for tomorrow. sophia told us that the hotel is fully booked , but she took out problem into her own hands and found us another hotel 200 meters away, and then, without asking us, she took in her hands our 2 suitcases, walked with it to the new hotel and we are after her. when we got there we found there is no elevatore and the reception was on the second floor. Sophia raised in her own hands our 2 suitcases upstairs to the reception!!! We are around the age of 70. Sophia is a valuable asset to the hotel. Thank you again Sophia, you are magnificent and as I told you, you have a very very big heart. doron.

great location, friendly staff, cozy room

Our room was on the 1st floor, right upstair the restaurant . Although the room was clean, we still found 3 tiny cockroaches in the room… Also, there’s a slightly smell of oil in the room. But overall, it’s still a nice experience.

Location was great! Apartment had a great view of the river and Porto.

When we arrived the entrance door was locked. We could see no one was in the lobby (glass door). The sign said to see someone in the restaurant for assistance. We told a person we were there to check in. They said someone would be there. We had to go back a second time after waiting 20 minutes. They had to call again and finally after about 30 minutes someone came and unlocked the door. The girl told us it was her lunch hour. If they had posted a sign on the door we would have gone to a coffee shop or something. Otherwise, front desk staff were helpful and pleasant.

The location was absolutely perfect. Right outside the door were 1 million restaurants you could go to, and the view was incredible from our room. It also had an elevator, which was great everybody at the front desk was very pleasant and receptive to anything they were.Needed. We bought breakfast during our stay and the breakfast was incredible way too much for two people to eat but very good.

Unfortunately, the shower did not have any place to put soap or shampoo within the shower nor did it have any type of bar to hold onto when you’re taking a shower. My companion did not feel safe in the shower without anything to hold onto.

Staying at Heritage apartment was an exceptional experience. The receptionist Fatima was the most pleasant and very thoughtful host I've ever met (including hotels). She noticed I was staying over my birthday and she offered a free glass of wine. The apartment itself was wonderful too. The bed was comfy and the view was incredible. There are restaurants right below and it's on the main street so I could hear street noise but that is to be expected based on the location. It didn't bother me too much, it's not too bad if you close the window covers. The room was so spacious which was nice. I would totally stay here again in Porto.

The kitchen is a bit small and I had to buy salt but that was a very minor issue.

Superb location with views from the roof terrace excellent. Apartment very large. Staff superb notably the receptionist. Breakfast great (but too much food!). One thing just demonstrated outstanding service to us. It was our wedding anniversary during our stay - we had not notified the property about this, but I’m guessing they saw the anniversary cards we had opened in the room - because that evening the room had been decorated with flowers, fresh bath robes, two glasses of port and a personalised message. Simply exceptional and unexpected.

Location is amazing perfect to get around Porto and Gaia. The apartment had everything you need for your stay. Exceptionally clean,perfect soundproofing, never heard a thing from the busy street below. Staff were amazing, Sofia and Fatima made my partners birthday very special, with a surprise in our Apartment on arrival. Breakfast served in your room was plentiful, fresh, and slightly different every day..wonderful place to stay highly recommend looking at going back June next year.

Nothing, just perfect.

The view!!!! I learned to do this in Chefchaoeun, Morocco. Stay across the river and have a picture perfect view of the Unesco city. We could not stop looking out our window, especially at sunset. The staff were kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Many restaurants and all the port "caves" are within walking distance. The old city is right across the bridge, also walking distance. Or if you like, the cable car is close by

Nothing. It's more like an apartment style, above restaurants. That may not appeal to everyone but it wasn't an issue for us

Location was key! We wanted to stay in Gaia and be able to walk along the ría—and this place was perfect. Restaurants, the market, and stunning views were all just steps from the building. The rooms were spacious and spotless, making our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

The bed was nice, though not the most comfortable we’ve experienced. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it’s quite small—might be a bit tricky for anyone planning to cook or eat in. The water pressure in the shower could have been better, but it was a minor issue overall.

The location and view were excellent. There are many restaurants, shops and Port wine tasting rooms within walking distance, including restaurants directly below the apartments. We had a sweeping view of the Douro River and the city of Porto. Many street vendors and musicians are located along the river walk, and the cable car to the top deck of the Luis I bridge is a short distance away. The apartment was comfortable, air conditioned and quiet when the balcony doors were closed. Great bathroom, kitchenette and ample closet space. Sophia and Fatima at the reception desk were so friendly! Don't miss the 7g Roaster for great coffee and breakfast, and have an awesome Italian dinner at S. Martino Ristorante Pizzaria. We loved the food so much we returned for three meals at each place.

We had no complaints; we highly recommend this property!
