From start to finish, the YOUROPO team was spectacular -- Hugo, Ligia, Diogo, and Pedro. To all our inquiries, within minutes the Portuguese-speaking team graciously replied in English or in Spanish for my Spanish-speaking wife via WhatsApp or email, beginning before we even left the US. We rented a car in Madrid, and YOUROPO sent suggestions for parking which turned out to be the best option and most convenient to the property. Pedro met us on arrival to show us how to enter the property, and helped us carry our gear up a flight of stairs to the apartment. Then Pedro took the time to open a map of Porto and mark several highlights for us. The property was immaculate, and ready in time for our arrival. The view from the property over the Douro River and Porto skyline is amazing, and cross-ventilation from front to rear kept the property cool and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and towels in the well-appointed bathroom, a modern kitchenette, and a very comfortable mattress. Working wifi and TV, and plenty of lighting. But we didn't use the TV much since we were out roaming around the city most of our time in Porto, enjoying the view, the shopping, the libations, and the bacalhao. Finally, since we visited in early April, outside the high season for tourism, the weather was cool and there was no wait to visit any significant point of interest in the city. We had a little rain each evening, but plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures most of the time.

We have no complaints at all about our stay with YOUROPO. The only thing we were unhappy about was being unable to stay in Porto longer.

The views from the apartment were amazing. The bed was very comfy, all the facilities you needed were there and it was beautifully decorated. The staff were amazing, providing loads of information and at hand for any help or questions. The location is excellent with easy access to both sides of the river. The weather was terrible during our stay but the apartment is extremely close to some excellent bars and restaurants. The luggage store is in another apartment block a few minutes walk away,, but is really easy to store your luggage and is self service so it's really quick.

Location. Space. Modern. Special feel. Staff helpful and responsive. Close to the action, right on the river, excellent restaurants on our door step. Out the door for a river run each morning. Two levels, two bath rooms, smallish. Not a massive main bedroom bit had balcony and good storage. full kitchen minus dishwasher. We loved it

Washing machine would be good, floor tiles created, and a few stairs to negotiate. But all that aside we feel we had one of the best possible places to stay in the city and it surpassed our expectations

LIKE: *. Location, location, location. A wonderful spot in a wonderful part of Porto. *. Extremely helpful online Reception staff who helped us to find the property, recover quickly from an unforeseeable lelectrical fault, find the local Lavandaria (laundry), and book a transfer taxi at the end of the stay. I wish I had called them to arrange a transfer from the airport when we first arrived. DISLIKE: *. Only one front door key resulting in one member being locked out for a while.

Our experience getting to Porto was delayed by 4hrs however it was no problem for our host. He met us at a local garage and helped us park the car and then walked us to the room. Thank goodness it was a ground floor apartment. It was super clean and super easy. The host gave us a totally complete overview walk through the city, what to do, and where to eat. He absolutely nailed it. We took his advice on the tours and where to grab great great food. Could have easily stay another week.

Seriously, nothing. Albeit we backed onto a lane, it was quiet.

The location was perfect! The ability to experience the city and be removed from the crowds along the river was delightful!

The entry way is tiny which I should have anticipated given the location in such a historic location in the city. I would have appreciated a guide to the neighborhood or recommendations from a local point of view in the apartment but know that exploring the neighborhood is part of the joy of traveling.

The hotel overlooks the river and was on the ground floor. Very spacious and super clean. You literally opened your door and turned right or left and they were restaurants within five steps however, it was never noisy inside the apartment. Great shutters which blocked out all the light from outside. I cannot praise the staff enough. I think I texted them on WhatsApp, about six or seven times during our stay. They were so helpful and they responded so quickly. they gave me advice on where to go for dinner, assisted with helping us set up, Netflix, and they were able to arrange a driver to bring us to the airport at a reasonable rate who assisted us with our luggage.

We loved the apartment, so really nothing that we didn’t like but just to note, there are a few stairs to carry your luggage up to get to this apartment.

Our family of four stayed at the two-bedroom apartment for four nights. The apartment is beautiful and just as it appears in the pictures. The views from the balconies are amazing. You can't find a better location. So easy to walk to many of the key sights and only a five-minute walk to the Dom Luis I Bridge which takes you to Gaia where there are many options for restaurants and port tastings. Highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

There are quite a few stairs going up to the apartment which are pretty steep so may be difficult for young children and or adults with mobility issues. The stairs were not an issue for us (ages 59, 60, 20, 22).

The location was perfect! We looked out our window and saw the Douro river and all the action around it.

I personally have no complaints whatsoever about this property but if someone is looking for a quiet location this isn’t it. Lots of people on the street below and they could get loud but that’s what I loved! The stairs up to the apartment are very steep so if you are not able to navigate stairs this isn’t the place for you.

Absolutely Superb stay in Apartment number 1. Very comfortable and nicely furnished with well equipped kitchen (not that we cooked as an abundance of good restaurants nearby), comfy bed and spotlessly clean. The apartment is bigger than it looks on the photos too. Amazing views from the balcony of the Douro and a perfect area for bars, restaurants and shops. Loved the buzz of Saturday night with street singers and music. Sunday a bit quieter except for us tourists. The communication from the staff at YOUR OPO was absolutely excellent at all times. All questions replied to with 10 minutes and helpful suggestions of places to eat etc. We were on a road trip so we used their parking garage which was also perfect and secure. All instructions and directions given were great. Many thanks for a wonderful and easy stay with you. We will return.
