Omgoodness! Wow, wow, wow. If location is what you’re looking for this is absolutely it ! We absolutely picked the right part of Porto to stay in the atmosphere of the river area is amazing with so many Bars ,cafes & restaurants .We were a group of 6 friends travelling together so we booked the 1 bedroom apartment ( ground level ) and also the 2 bedroom apartment directly above , both with the most stunning balcony views of this beautiful city and the Duro river ! Both have a full sized kitchen ,comfortable beds, lounge area. Would highly recommend! Julie & Gary Ward

Everything was perfect

Apartment - wow. Views - wow!! Location - wow! We loved this apartment, the view, was one of the most stunning views I've ever seen and it was all from our balcony! I highly recommend this apart. It had most of the facilities that you need, heaters, cooker with glasswear, crockery, microwave and coffee facilities. The room on the main floor was huge with some amazing window doors! Bathroom was a decent size for our family, living room and kitchen were a great size as well. It was located just off the main strip full of bars and restaurants along the river - great location. The apartment was accessed by code and lock, and was an easy check-in and out! We had some amazing dinners out, we visited the World of Wine museums which was tailored for both kids and adults, definitely worth the visit. There are parks around and you can enjoy the cable cars up to the Monastery. Porto was fantastic!

It was up 3 flights of stairs so that was quite difficult with the suitcases at the beginning, and getting our pram up and down each day, but you forgive this because it means you have the amazing views! The floors were wooden and were extremely loud and creaky, so this was not ideal when putting the kids to sleep. While the idea of having the second 'bedroom' up the ladder stairs were cool, it was quite difficult to climb up and down during the night if you needed the bathroom and not the safest with little children as there is no safety bars for when you are up in the room, it is fully open and a big drop to the floor, so we ended up blocking the stairs to stop the kids climbing up. This said, it absolutely did not stop us enjoying the apartment, it is absolutely amazing regardless.

This place is located in the heart of Porto right in front of the river. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing. The check-in process was smooth. We never met anyone from the property but the instruction was very clear as to how to pick the key from the lock box. The property is a vintage property with antique furniture. You can spend the whole day just sitting in the sofa and seeing the river. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. Everything is nearby including all the sight seeing spots and public transport. The sights of the sea gulls flying, boats sailing, cable cars running, everything is perfect. We will definitely come back! Loved it!

Everything was good. The host, though we never spoke on phone or in person ensured that the communication through the booking.com app was done perfectly. The only downside is that there is no reception and even if you lose your key (luckily we didn't), they clearly tell beforehand that they will not be available for 5 pm. It is a kind of let down as for any emergency or some urgent requirement at least they should make exception. As long as everything is good, you need not worry. But this small worry goes through your mind through out the trip! But otherwise, it is a wonderful stay

The apartment is located on a perfect place just next to the river promenade with a magnificent view on Douro river from the tiny balcony. It was well-maintained and clean. The design of the 2-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor is exceptional, we loved the stone walls, the blue colour, the decorations and even the books on the shelves. The rooms are spacious and during the night the slight noise from the bars and restaurant nearby was not disturbing us because of the window blinds. There is a bus and tram stop 2 min away which we used to explore the city. We had received instructions to access the property with a self check-in, but we were lucky that our host was there when we arrived. He was very polite and answered all our questions, even provided us with a paper city map and gave us precious tips.

We liked everything, we have just a small recommendation: it would be nice if in the kitchen you could provide some tea bags or coffee pods. It would really make a difference for the guests experience and it does not cost a lot.

Incredible location on the River Douro - the appartment was just wonderful, we loved it! Felt so special to stay there. The feel of the place was proper 'old Porto', the beds were comfortable - even the sofa bed (according to our son). The communication beforehand was great and entry into the accommodation was all easy, no problems at all. Would highly recommend!!

Bit of a waft of drains smell in the bathroom, but this is old accommodation, near the river, so I think that's fair/to be expected.

The location and view from the apartment are what this property is all about. It was also much bigger than I was expecting it was like a home away from home! As a solo traveller, it’s a perfect launch point for tourism and your view is so amazing you’re happy to sit back and enjoy it from your balcony.

I would say that the furnishings are a little dated but I didn’t mind. It was comfortable and had everything I needed. It is in a busy spot and fairly noisy with people but the windows and shutters blocked general noise from restaurants and in general it was a great atmosphere with the windows open during the day.

The property is directly in the center of the city and on the banks of the Douro. The views are fantastic and it's a great place to relax from the tourist turmoil outside. The apartment is super clean and the contactless check-in/out worked flawless.

Particularly during the weekend the party crowd outside is quite loud till the early morning. Once they have gone to bed, the seagulls take over and sunday morning there's a biker meeting on the other river bank, where they show off which of their machines can create the loudest and weirdest noises. The windows, however, are quite sound proof.

Great location, right on the river. Amazing views and walkable distance to most attractions, restaurants, cafes and grocery. Apartment building felt safe and clean. Apartment itself was also very clean and spacious. Bathroom and kitchen were very well equipped. Views from the living room were amazing! Found a really great and clean laundry facility very close to this building which was very helpful for us.

The address is a bit hard to find and cab drivers can't/won't go right up to the door... our Uber driver left us on the main street and we had to walk quite a bit with bags to find the apartment. Suggestion for the owners - Tell future guests to take cab/Uber to the red McDonalds building in Ribiera and then walk down the lane just beside this building which is where the apartment is located. Will be much easier for guests to find the building this way. Only other complaint is the noise from the stairwell as well as people upstairs. You can hear anyone walking up the stairs outside the main door and in the apartment upstairs. This woke us up very early most days.

Not an issue for us but if on 1st/2nd/3rd floor need to be mobile to reach apartments as no lift. As mentioned before by others noise can hear all movement/ sounds in hall / upstairs/ front door being banged. and Friday/ Saturday night disturbed sleep all night from night club across the water until 6 am but with ear plugs doesn’t not detract from the positives. Only one thing extra needed in kitchen Bottle opener /cork screw.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The only thing missing was coffee. Luckily McDonalds was a 3 minute walk down the street, and so we picked one up there. The location though very close to restaurants and nighttime eating and drinking was VERY quiet at night. The apartment is lovely, with an excellent sound-proofing. Also, the living room window/french doors open directly onto the river -- and that was our favorite part.
