The hotel is small and friendly in an historic building which has been tastefully modernised but retains its character. The staff were all really friendly and helpful especially front of house Luiz. He arranged a river boat trip and transport to the airport for us a group of 8. The rooms are well appointed with comfy bed, fridge with mini bar and a safe. A bottle of water was supplied daily. The location is right by the riverfront tram terminal and tour buses are 2 minutes away. There is also a taxi rank opposite the hotel and the river front walk with shops and restaurants starts there too.

Top location if one appreciates a river view and an immediate proximity to Ribeira riverside and the historic tram route, and doesn't mind a short upward stroll to almost all other main sights. Nice spacious room with a classic minimalistic design. Very good soundproofing of the window frames. Sumptuous breakfast and afternoon cake option. Amicable and helping personnel. Many thanks for the take-away breakfasts as I had to leave early 2 days in a row.

The pillows with a syntetic filling were too flat and too spongy for my liking. I'd recommend to vacume clean the floors a bit more often and wipe off the dust form the open wardrobe shelves. The minifridge seemed to produce no cold, though my blueberries nevertheless survived one day with no issue.

The location is very good. The room was big and I liked the hotel style and the availability of tea/ coffee in the afternoon/ evenings. Water provided in the room. Happy there were slippers too

The bathroom fan was very noisy so I didn’t sleep well. The bathroom is in the room separated by glass doors so even with the door closed it was noisy. The shower was mouldy inside and outside. The safe wasn’t reset so it didn’t work until we got the key to reset it. Wi-Fi was poor in our room. The air cond in the corridor was too high. I read in the reviews that guests were welcomed with a glass of porto on their arrival but it didn’t happen to us. Overall I am not sure it is really a 4 star hote

We had the best stay at this cute little hotel in the heart of Porto! From the moment we arrived, Luiz at the front desk was awesome. He was super friendly and even upgrade us to a room with river view! The hotel itself is small but so cozy and welcoming. They offer free coffee and tea, plus some delicious cakes and cookies to snack on. And on New Year's Eve, they even treated everyone with sparkling wine—such a nice touch! The location is perfect for exploring Porto, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during these couple of days. Great vibes, great service, and little extras that made the stay feel extra special. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Porto!

Great little boutique hotel in Porto - very friendly staff and nice personal touches throughout the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. Location is really good too - right by the river (walking distance). We were also able to walk pretty much anywhere by the river/bridge/central Porto.

One thing to keep in mind, not a deal breaker, is that there are stairs/a cobblestone ramp to get up to the hotel. Use the ramp if you have big luggage! Also, it's down a pedestrian-only alley so trust Google Maps/Uber for the drop-off point and then walk a bit (1-2 minutes) to the hotel. We had 2 large luggages and this didn't deter us, but it's just helpful to know!

All was great, breakfast and the afternoon coffee and tea were a delight. Very close to city center and attractions.

I previously contacted the hotel for a parking recommendation. Of the two recommended facilities, I chose the closest recommended parking on Google Maps, Saba, under the market square. I arrived on Tuesday evening and on Thursday morning was surprised with a 102€ parking bill for two nights of parking! I highly recommend the hotel but would have appreciated a parking tip for a more economical option.

The location was 100% perfect. The basic room we had was spacious enough (15m2), absolutely silent, and the bathroom facilities worked. We stayed for 5 nights, and breakfast never got boring, with plenty of variety. Tea and coffee facilities are available 24/7 and 5pm cake was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including the management, who were hands-on to receive feedback.. We are mature, seasoned travellers and I can say 110%, that we would come back here again, as this was the perfect small "boutique" hotel for our stay. Very central hotel, very clean, modern and very welcoming rooms. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice and quality food. The staff is of extraordinary kindness and availability. If one day we return to Porto we will choose this hotel. Excellent value for money, central location, ideal for visiting the city on foot. The main attractions are all within a 15-minute walk and the stop of the Metro and Sao Bento station are a 5 minute walk away. The view of the river is wonderful. At 5 pm an exquisite cake is served every day in the breakfast room.

Nothing! Everything is amazing!

We couldn't fault the hotel. The room was perfect for a weekend break with all you need. The bathroom was large with a very good shower. The staff couldn't be more helpful or efficient and the breakfast was a delicious continental selection with fresh bread each day and a good selection of fruit and savoury goods. One bonus was the use of the dining room during the day for tea or coffee and the bonus of a fresh cake each afternoon.

The only minor point I would make is the need for a hat & coat hook in the room to hang an outdoor coat.

We loved everything about the property! I can not emphasize enough about what an absolute gem this hotel is. The location directly across from the Douro River is perfect! Our room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was top notch. The breakfast eating area is cozy and charming. The breakfast had a fantastic selection to choose from. The staff at breakfast were so professional. Best of all were the entire staff at this hotel. They were so professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful!! We were always greeted upon arriving back at the hotel. It felt like coming home!!
