What a great apartment in the very centre of all things Porto. The location alone makes it an excellent stay and though not the largest apartment (it is in the old part of the city, after all) 5 of us ate and slept very comfortably in it for 2 nights. The little balcony is accessed through the large window doors and it was a simple pleasure to lean on the old metal rail and watch all the world go bye. There is a river walk at the bottom of the hill in front off the apartment where you can watch the sun go down. In the other direction, it winds along the Douro past restaurants, bars, street sellers and performers, towards the Luiz foot and tram bridge. Great place. We loved it.

Whatever cleaning product they are using would literally take your breath away. You do get used to it and it wanes by day two, but if that bothers you, or you are sensitive to it, you will be uncomfortable. The weather was not too warm when we were in Porto (around 23-25 degrees) so the lack of air conditioning did not bother us at all. Any warmer than that and you might struggle, as there are only 2 floor fans available.

This was a perfect stay in Porto. The apartment couldn’t be in a better location, it’s a few minutes away from the iconic train station and the Ribeira area. There are lots of markets and restaurants just around the corner. The managers of the property were kind enough to allow us to arrive earlier and were super quick to answer any queries. The apartment itself was impeccably clean (smelt lovely when we arrived) and had good amenities, coffee machine and iron etc. The beds were comfortable and the view from the property was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again. Hassle free entry to the property via a PIN code so no need to be constantly checking whether you lost the key!

The location of this property was fantastic - right in the heart of the city and close to everything including parking! It had a wonderful outlook over the city streets and was bright and airy. I also appreciated that there was a washing machine in the apartment! Make sure you choose an apartment that isn’t on level 1 though!

The space was much smaller than I expected- I think I was expecting a different apartment as there were photos of an extra bed/loft area that wasn’t in our apartment. Some of the furniture and kitchen utensils/appliances seemed in need of a better clean. It was fine for a short stay.

This apartment has incredible views to the city streets and its ancient architecture. You can walk every where in this beautifully impressive hilly city. So many wonderful features to discover right outside the street level door. Right next door an incredible restaurant and beautiful clothing store as well as a pedestrians shopping mall, stairs to the Benedictine monastery and so much more.

The apartment is extremely well placed for walking everywhere and the view out of the living room/ kitchen/dining window on the second floor, from the lounges is exceptional! There is a great square just around the corner with a restaurant owned by a Michelin starred chef where we had exceptional food & service and a highlight was getting home one afternoon and throwing open the windows to hear lovely saxophone music from the square! We stayed with friends and the two bedrooms are tiny, but soundproof!!! We walked to the Ribera district (down the road) and over the bridge to the Port Wine lodge area (you are directly in line with Taylor’s - can see the sign across the river from the lounge room window ) in the apartment ! Book first of the day slots for Livreria Lello if you are going - it is an easy walk from the apartment!

The apartment is small for 4 adults - the bedrooms are tiny - however, we put fans in the rooms at night and the apartment is soundproof so we all slept so well. A plus as well is each bedroom had enough hanging space in built in cupboards! But - for the amazing location in a city like Porto and the price - you can’t complain! Be prepared to lug bags up some stairs ( we had help from our friends) - there is a lift, but only from floor 1 - and really, if you read the reviews like I did beforehand - you should know - so wasn’t a minus for us.

The apartment was beautiful. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, but not noisy at night. The view was spectacular! We truly enjoyed our stay and felt like it met our needs and beyond.

The code to the front door did not work when we arrived. We had to message the owner and get the new code. That was the only issue we had our entire stay, and they were quick to get back to us with the new code.

No A/C. Very hot days just with ventilator. Bedrooms are very small WITHOUT windows. It’s quite uncomfortable esp. for those, who have problems in small space. No parking. Public parking garage quite expensive.

The location is fantastic! ItIn the middle of everything and within close walking distance to all attractions. Restaurants, Cafes and everything you need at your fingertips. The apartment is gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed.

The only thing I would have loved is air conditioning. The apartment can get a little stuffy when we visited.

This property was absolutely great and in a brilliant part of town which allowed us to explore Porto and the Ribeira. Really clean, incredible location and fantastic balcony views...5 of us stayed here for three nights and it was great! Will definitely return if we visit again!

Not much! Only minor things were bathroom vent not working and no bottle opener or dustpan...

Location very central

No one met us with keys, no info given, we had to wander around three story building looking for someone, didn’t know which was our apartment, found maid on top floor, who phoned the owner to speak to us, would have been nice to get info in message or text, would have been much easier.
