We really enjoyed the comfort of this apartment, especially during the heatwave. The air conditioning was a lifesaver and made a big difference after long days of exploring. The location was fantastic — close to everything we needed, from restaurants to the riverfront. It was easy to walk everywhere, and the neighbourhood had a lovely charm.

There were a few practical issues. The room was supposed to be serviced daily, but that didn’t happen even when we asked. The toilet flusher was broken, which was a bit of a hassle. For a self-catering apartment, it was surprising there was no washing machine. And just a heads-up for future guests — it’s three steep flights of stairs with no lift, which made getting our luggage up and down quite tough.

The communication was excellent from the pre-trip to the end of the trip. They were very kind, friendly and prompt with providing help via whatsapp. The facility was functional and practical. The property was spacious and had essential things i need for a trip.

I have nothing else to comment but i must say the wifi was bad. The wifi didn’t cover the entire apartment as it was shared from another property they own. Within the coverage, the speed and connection were bad - it was slow, unstable and laggy. This was the only downside but for me it was critical as i had to join meetings and etc. I’d say the internet was below the standard you get from accomodations of this level which was a bummer.

The location was excellent-central to everything. My husband and i were traveling with my adult son and the place was perfect space-wise -1 bedroom with kingsize bed and a cot added which was really comfortable. Also attention from staff was exceptional. someone is available 24/7 and they were all so pleasant. - everyone we dealt with was great especially paolo and beatrice!

There was nothing i didn’t like. i don’t think the balcony was a big deal since we were really only there to sleep and it wasn’t big enough to sit out there.

The staff was great! They were helpful and attentive in every way possible! They helped with our luggage; we are elderly and they carried to our room.) Our room was cleaned as requested; Leiza gave us great recommendations on Porto, restaurants, etc. Location was great and the beds were comfortable. Overall, our experience was wonderful.

I would recommend a shower mat to avoid a person slipping or falling. Also, each bedroom could use a folding luggage rack or stand to put one’s suitcase, rather than having to put your luggage on the bed or floor. The cost I believe would be minimal. Ideally, placing a door and wall to one of the bedrooms (rather a curtain)would make it make more private, however this was not an issue with us. This of course, would run into some costs.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff, who showed us a map of Porto and explained where to go and recommendations. The property had bag drop off, which was really useful. The apartment was clean and cool and the bed was a decent size and very comfy.

The property did not have a lift, so it was a few flights of stairs, which was difficult with a suitcase but the staff did offer to help us with our luggage if needed. During our stay, on our last day, the air-con did make a loud noise on and off and we reported this to the staff.

Location was good. But given that the city is quite hilly - and that the hotel is also located on a hill - guests with physical conditions may need to take it into consideration. (The city is NOT flat). Building is really cute, room is very specious and you almost feel like you are living in the neighborhood of Rua de Taipas during your stay. It's very well located to the key centres of the city and restaurants.

The stairs are very steep but it's a good exercise. On our third day of stay, there was a strong smell of sewerage, but we weren't able to tell where it was coming from. Other than that everything was very pleasant.

Location, modern facilities, decor, comfort. Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff.

We were given one room with air conditioning and one without. The one without was incredibly hot and up a different road from the other room (we are a family of five so not ideal). Fortunately the staff found us another room in the same block with air con as we wouldn't have been able to sleep. They had left a fan running in the non air con room but it was still too hot. Just be aware when booking during the summer season. The second room was great. A suggestion would be that they leave you a small amount of milk to go with the tea and coffee provided.

Staff excellent. Couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable. Very informative when we needed information about the area. Location excellent.

Sitting room wasn't comfortable. The sofa and the easy chair were hard. They need cushions . The shower spilled water out onto the floor no matter how careful we were. The bathroom door didn't close. Cork screw was difficult to use. Hated the big brown cups for tea and the white cups were too small for tea ! Need white mugs for a good cup of tea. Pillows on my bed were not comfortable. Too soft .

What an excellent stay with excellent hosts! There is someone on duty every day down in the lobby of the apartments to help you with any keys, questions etc and check you in to your room on arrival. I appreciated all the tips and the helpful map of the city, with lots of suggestions of things to do. The apartment was incredibly clean and bright, comfortable beds, modern amenities. Full kitchen with fridge and stove, strong wifi. The location is perfectly situated in the old town, walking distance from everything you'd want to see. I stayed here three nights with friends and it was lovely. Easy door code access to the main lobby, plenty of yummy restaurants just right outside. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views at the neighboring little "park" and bars just 2 minutes walking from the apartment. I would absolutely stay here again. Only complaint is that because the glass on the shower is so short, water gets everywhere while bathing - all over the floor. This didn't take away from our experience though!

Great communication from the hosts who explained everything so well and answered my questions very quickly via whatsapp which was handy. Really sweet appartment with a nice view on to the street and plenty of light. The appartment had space, great facilities and was in a lovely part of the city. It was a great place to stay for a work trip as it was well located, had a nice big table and good wifi for working. Quiet for sleeping

Nothing. I had one minor problem with the shower dripping and they fixed that immediately.
