great location, safe area, close to main centre, shops river, restaurants etc

only problem we had was a leak coming from upstairs that dripped on the face, over pillows etc for the whole time we where there, so only one single bed could be used and one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed. staff couldn’t fix it until we had left unfortunately, so that did make a big difference to our comfort.

AMAZING view and great breakfast included. Light, bright, and airy, rustic chic feel in the room.

The place was great and clearly well loved. Small things: a weathered broken lamp shade and an underpowered poorly functioning hair dryer come to mind. A light freshen up would go along way. Great bones and design aesthetic.

Nice greeting when we arrived, given good info on surroundings and history of building. Loved the room and views to the river. Great breakfasts, just a really lovely place to stay.

Bed a little hard for me but realise it might have been perfect for others.

Beautiful boutique hotel with attention to detail. We liked the size of the room and decoration. We received a very warm welcome and wonderful recommendation of how to explore the City. Staff very friendly and always a smile. Very nice breakfast was served downstairs in the breakfast room or in the bright conservatory, a place to enjoy the morning sun. The Mo House, bohemian style and comfort, is located in an absolute great spot - you can reach any sightseeing point within minutes on foot. We definitely come back to the Mo-House !

You can hear the tram passing over the bridge early morning; but I guess that is what you need to accept when you like to stay in the old part of town. Didn't bother us much - but worthwhile mentioning if you have a light sleep...

Absolutely perfect. The location was amazing - walking distance to everything of interest. The hotel was beautifully decorated, romantic and modern. We loved our balcony with views of the cathedral and bridge. The breakfast was delicious with options for cooked eggs as well as pastries, fruits, yogurts etc. All staff members were excellent. Friendly and helpful. A really special stay and at a very good price. Would 100% recommend.

What a great boutique type hotel. This place use to be a convent and had gone to ruins. Someone bought it and saved what they could and made it into a small hotel. I think there are 8 rooms. The door to the outside, stairs, handrail and such is original. They did paint everything white and it is just gorgeous. The rooms are very big and have doors you can open to the typical concrete iron railed balconies. Not enough room for a chair, but they are magical. The breakfast is top notch as well. If you like boutique, quaint, historical rooms this one is for you. Very walkable, restaurants and shopping all within 5minutes walk, actually a lot with in 1minute.

Everything! The location was fabulous, especially as a first time visitor to Porto. Ribeira was minutes away along with so many of the cities other beautiful historical sites and areas. The staff were extremely kind, helpful and welcoming from the moment I first booked, right up until the end of my stay- ensuring that I had a taxi to the airport booked for my early morning flight! My room was absolutely stunning with a beautiful view of the city and a cosy little balcony that I am very sad I didn't use more often. I will 100% stay here again on my next visit to Porto ( because I plan to come back!). If you are looking for a cozy, beautiful decorated, centrally located place to stay in Porto with wonderful staff, look no further than Mo House!😊

This is a very stylish hotel in a great location. The staff couldn't be nicer!

There's no soundproofing between the floors so it could be very noisy depending on your neighbours. The lighting is very minimal, just bedside lights which I found a little difficult in the evening when I'd closed the shutters.

A warm and friendly welcome and the two Sebastians and the house team could not have been more warm and helpful. Lovely breakfast, great location, beautiful interior design of a historic building with lots of art and books. We had a very pretty street view on the first floor. Was great to have a room with a kitchenette and separate living space. Huge bed! Over all excellent stay and value and would recommend to friends and family.

hesitate to mention it except it may be useful for others… As expected in a historic city and heritage building there is a little bit of street noise (front room) and creaky floorboards above. I am a light sleeper so always carry earplugs. Not really a problem or the fault of the accommodation.

The Mo was an excellent choice. Sebastian met us as the directions said. He was respectful and polite. His explanations were very clear. The room was comfortably appointed. The tiny kitchenette with coffee maker, fresh water and a microwave was very nice addition. The sheets and towels were high quality and smelled so fresh. The view was neighborhood roofs all the way to the River. The sunset glow on the buildings was amazing. Bonus for the little table and chairs on the balcony. The breakfast was amazing, delicious and extremely fresh. All sorts of choices and the coffee was hot. I didn’t expect such a variety of choices. The location is central and easy to navigate Porto’s main sites from MoHouse. I highly recommend this property.

A few flying insects got into our room from the open windows. That is a minor price for such a lovely open window with view.
