The location of the apartment was great and the layout for a family of 4 was great.

Not clear that the checkin was meant to be done at the nearby associated hotel. It would have been great if this info was sent with the pre-arrival email.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. From the moment we arrived, we could see how much care had been put into every detail — from the clean, modern design to the inviting common areas. Everything was spotless and well-organized, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel feels both stylish and welcoming, a perfect balance for a memorable stay in Porto.

I don’t remember anything that I don’t like.

Great location near the river with lots of restaurants within walking distance, even though it was on a busy street with the shutters closed at night it was quiet. The apartment was cleaned daily and fresh towels left, it was so nice to have dry towels. The building was clean and secure with a lift.

Only two coffee pods for the Nespresso machine were left and not replaced daily as was the dishwasher tablet. We had to source some from the local shop but they didn't always work in the machine. We weren't informed that we could ask for some at the hotel reception. A washing machine would have been be more useful to us than a dishwasher.

Great location, right in the mix, but quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful nights rest. Great design, especially the incredibly subtle entrance off the Main Street. Very safe - code access with main apartment door with 5 point locks, felt like we were in a bank! We booked a one bed apartment - bedroom was on the mezzanine with pull out sofa to main area. Perfect space to enjoy as a family of 3 - 2 bathrooms was a bonus and there was plenty of space. We had 2 small balconies to step out on to with view down to the Douro river - heaven!

Ironically - The water pressure! The shower was incredibly difficult to tame it was that powerful! Check in was via the adjacent hotel - I did not enjoy the experience, I think the gentleman on the reception counter could have been more polite.

The Arc Carris is located in such a great area, walking distance to everything we wanted to see... or within walking distance to train/tram/bus stops for areas a bit further away. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room we had was large, super stylish, and very clean. We loved it. There was air-conditioning, a kitchen, and a large bathroom. What's more, the room was really quiet despite being so close to restaurants, public transport etc. On our next trip to Porto, we'll definitely stay here again.

The only thing we didn't like was leaving!

We loved everything about Porto but especially the accommodations we had booked at Apartmentos The Arc Carris.. The unit we stayed in was supremely clean, very modern, and so spacious. The breakfast was the best we had in our entire stay in Portugal and that was over 11 days in other cities like Lisbon..Everything that is advertised and shown in the brochures or online profile is exactly what you will find.. .No disappointments and no surprises ..The front desk reception personnel (which is at the bigger hotel across the street) were all very friendly and helpful with our check in and check out..It made our time in Porto , albiet too short in retrospect ,so much more pleasant. We would definitely recommend staying at The Arc Carris and hope some day we can return there ourselves. .

The room itself was comfortable The location is extremely central, most of the places needs to be visited located within a 1 km circle

The lodge can’t be contacted when due to the delay of our flight we tried to do so neither through through phone or email There is no indication at all that the check in to be done at a hotel located at the opposite corner. It is not simple to find it around midnight The accessibility of breakfast is poor, You have to wait for the elevator in the hotel’s building for long minutes sometime in both directions to meet with not to much friendly staff there. The food otherwise is tasty and has proper variety.

A lovely Apartmentos right in the center of Porto. Very comfortable and clean with a lovely balcony.

When you let yourself into the apartment foyer, there is a machine attached to the wall that pumps out an over powering smell ( supposedly to be a welcoming, refreshing smell ) but it is so strong it almost makes you sick breathing it in! We disconnected it once and noticed that others had done the same thing when we left. The only other complaint was that room service would not replace the coffee pods each morning. We stayed 3 nights and paid a decent amount of money and coffee pods should be available each morning of your stay. We had to go over to Hotel reception to get replacement pods.

I loved the fact we were right near the river and that the reception was right across the road for any emergency! The reception was amazing and very helpful! ☺️

I didn't like that the code for the entrance wasn't working and the caretaker of the apartments came to the apartment, opened the door, and told me to resolve my problem by ringing the receptionist. Couldn't ring because the phone wasn't working but thankfully the reception took care of me and resolved the problem quickly

The apartment is very comfortable. They keep it clean. The room design was very nice. We had a bedroom upstairs (loft) with a bathroom. There was another bedroom on the main floor. There was also another bathroom on the main floor. Kitchen had everything we needed. Supermarket (several) were walking distance. Many places to eat. We used Uber to get around.

I wished they had a washer and dryer.
