Great location in Vila Nova de Gaia looking over at Porto, surrounded by port cellars, chocolate museum/factory, and near the cable car. Very pleasant staff, great breakfast (and coffee!). The apartment was clean, functional and generally comfortable. The hob, microwave, and fridge were invaluable when travelling with a toddler, and the pull out sofa bed was ideal for her.

My only minor reservations were that a young child could potentially exit the apartment directly via elevator without a key. Secondly, and I think it's been alluded to before, the shower soaks the bathroom floor due to a malpositioned shower curtain. It's not a big deal but my daughter did take a hopper on it, she was fine (possibly even better off because of it).

Excellent duplex apartment for the 4 of us. A 1 minute walk to the river front and close to the Luís bridge to cross to the other side of Porto. Reasonably priced parking close-by, if you get the 24 hours or multi-day option on the parking's website. Breakfast was excellent and is served in the café just downstairs of the rooms. Very friendly staff throughout.

I personally, find the concept of the apartments above not only a caffe, but also a coffee roaster brilliant. Windows of our bedroom were facing the inner yard with the caffe itself and it was nice to wake up and smell the coffee. Moreover, the breakfast included in our stay was à la carte so no soggy scramble eggs from several hours ago - everything was cooked on demand. Amazing! One also gets discount in the caffe and on the freshly roasted coffee which is very nice. The location of the place can not be more central. You will literally stay in the heart of everything - 100m to the river front, 50m to all the restaurants, hilly, yet enjoyable 15min climb to the best sunset place I've ever seen anywhere (in Jardim do Morro). All in all, whenever we will come back to Porto, I won't even think about a place to stay. We found our perfect spot.

If you happen to travel more than 2 people and have to use the sofa in the living room as a bed, there's a chance for street noise if your living-room windows face the narrow street towards the river. Wasn't too much noise, but still interrupted the sleep when the trash had to be collected at 3AM :)

Lovely apartment, good size and nice staff. Great view! Great coffee at the cafe! Loved the option to receive your breakfast in the apartment the night before if you are unable to make it during their breakfast hours. The location was incredible, close to restaurants, the cable car and the ponte Luis I. Good value for money.

The only two things I found were that the shower could have been a bit cleaner and the metal rack on the ground in the shower was uncomfortable to stand on, and secondly there was no soundproofing so we heard every bird, person walking and car going by!

The overall vibe of the place is wonderful. Very easy going but also professional and well run. The location is perfect, tucked just out of the way to avoid the noises from the busy waterfront, but still close to many fabulous spots. The breakfast was excellent!! Even though we knew breakfast was included in our stay, we still asked for the bill because we couldn't believe there was no charge! The room was absolutely perfect and immaculately clean. We even had the cutest balcony with a river view! A perfect spot to enjoy a glass of port or a coffee from the downstairs cafe. The bathroom is great too, and has one of those rainfall showerheads that makes you not want to get out once you're in. The only thing I would say is maybe some more space in the bathroom to put toiletries would be good, but honestly this is a tiny nitpick. Thank you so much for giving us a superb stay and making us feel comfortable and welcome as well in love with the beautiful city of Porto!! We can't wait to come back some day.

Nothing. It was all perfect!

The location is absolutely perfect — just a one-minute walk to the river, with stunning views of the historic Porto town. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

There were no hooks or racks to dry the towels. The shower curtain didn’t fully cover the space to the floor, causing water to spill around the bathroom. There are no shelves to put the bath accessories. Ventilation was insufficient, so the bathroom remained constantly damp. It would be great if slippers were available upon request at no extra charge. Additionally, some basic kitchen essentials, such as salt, pepper, and oil, were missing, which are usually provided in apartments with the kitchen.

Breakfast was phenomenal. The coffee was great. The room was really nice, really modern and had anything I could need. The location of hotel was awesome. Close to everything. The manager “Bernardino” was absolutely amazing. He was so attentive and helpful. He literally walked us to our room, showed us how everything worked. I had a little small issue and I went to him and he immediately without hesitation helped me out. I have stayed in Porto many times but I must say this was the best customer service I have ever experienced!!

No parking anywhere near. Parking was ways away! Had to park and walk to room with all my luggage.

This hotel was definitely a hidden gem located amongst port cellars. We had an amazing stay here and everyone was very kind and helpful with us. The reception staff was more than understanding and flexible around our check in time allowing us to get the keys as soon earlier as the room was ready. Similarly, they accepted to hold our bags both at arrival and departure. The breakfast was also good. Overall the place was very clean. No surprises. Probably the best part about it was the location - under 2min to the river front and very short walk to all the port cellars. Would strongly recommend!

Nothing in particular that we disliked. Initially we thought a 4pm check in is quite late, but as mentioned above, the staff was very understanding and kindly allowed us to check in slightly earlier. In the end it worked out just perfect.

Everything was perfect) location is great, apartment is really comfortable and with the great view, we didn’t use kitchen much, but seems it had everything needed to cook and serve dinner On the first floor there is a cafe and breakfast is served there, breakfast is good paired with delicious coffee (especially if you’re lover of alternative coffee) What I would also mention is high level of service, Dino was hospitable and responsive, even found a hair conditioner for us 3 ladies)

The only thing to mention is the partially glass door to the bathroom, we were 3 girls, was a bit uncomfortable)

Excellent location near the riverfront in villa nova de gaia. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops, and our destination (the World of Wines). Very modern, clever design apartment. Breakfast at the 7 Gaia Coffee Roaster was great and offered excellent variety.

Separate main bedroom was really a loft, separated from apartment by stairs and a curtain. Not as much privacy as we'd like there. No parking available-we reserved a spot at a nearby lot for the duration of our stay.
