The hotel staff was very nice, and they accommodated my room requests. The room was very big and spacious, bed was extremely comfortable and huge, and the elevator was excellent. The location is great for sightseeing.

Bathroom cleanliness could be improved, A/C didn't get colder than 20C, bathroom shower didn't have a fully enclosed door.

Bed was really comfortable, we slept great. The room was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked fine. It made some noise but that's normal. Breakfast simple but still with a good mix. bread, cheese, jamon, pastries, cereals, yogurt, and some fresh fruit. Coffee of course.

The bathroom had no ventilation at all. You can see the damage this moisture is doing over time. It makes the bathroom not possible to fully clean, so it looked a bit bad around the edges. It's a shame because the rest of the stay was great!

Breakfast was really nice. It would be even better if they had any egg option. Location is amazing for sightseeing and for connecting to metro or busses. Enough room for both suitcases to be opened at the same time. Cleaning was through and items replenished on time.

Plugs - not enough of them, they are loose and only support Argentinian plugs where most other locations in the city support Argentine and European plugs on the same plug point.

Top location, near most city-center major Buenos Aires attractions. Also, due to the high inflation rate (unfortunately the Argentinian economy is in need of structural changes), I ended up paying very little when compared to other countries, i.e., in Europe, Asia.

They didn't warn me that on my check-out day all the city center would be cut off from all traffic, including metro and city transports. There was a major parade that was scheduled really a-head of time, from what I could understand, so I had to walk with luggage for several city blocks until I found streets open, only to discover that there were no taxi/uber available due to high demand. So I had to walk even further to find a open metro station. This is something that the staff could have warned me so that I would leave the hotel earlier.

The room was very quiet. My room faced on to a light well, away from the front and I could not hear any street noise or any noise from other rooms. The air-conditioning made a little noise when on but easily ignored. The bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, only a 150m walk from Ave de Mayo and only a bit further to Plaza de Mayo. Access to wifi was good throughout the hotel. The staff were helpful.

There was nothing to dislike but one comment is the shower recess floor was showing its age.

The Merit San Telmo provides excellent value for money. The rooms, while basic and modestly appointed, are clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic, being in the lively San Telmo area. We found the hotel staff to be helpful, friendly and customer-oriented.

The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, both in quality and variety. There is a heavy emphasis on pastries. However, I would still stay here again as the hotel is very reasonably priced considering the location and room quality.

I staid three times in a span of 3 weeks while visiting Argentina. First time with all family, second and third alone. In total 9 days. It was the best choice! Very close to all attractions, close to the Aeroparque airport. The staff at the front desk was very attentive, and helpful with calling for taxis, price info, etc. Upon my departure I asked them for a favor: keeping a small gift for a friend until he was able to pick it up. They were very nice and allowed it. Very much appreciated:) The wifi was a bit slow, but working. Walking at night we felt safe returning to the hotel after a late tango show/dinner ( midnight). The extra large double bed was very comfy. The single beds are a bit small, but comfy. The air conditioning was working very well. Due to a high inflation rate ( unfortunately for the Argentiniens), I ended up paying less than anticipated. We were lucky with the neighbors, they were very quiet. Overall very nice experience, highly recommended. I will stay again.

The size of the bedroom was great, bed was comfortable, all clean. Excellent location, close to many touristic places. Staff super friendly and attentive.

I found the lighting in the bedrooms a bit poor, it could be a bit brighter. And the tv's could be smart to make it a bit modern. But for a short stay, that is acceptable.

Stayed for 6 nights. Great location, close to all historical attractions. Amazing staff (very helpful). Comfortable, clean and modern rooms. Good quality breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

We already stayed in this hotel before and would come again. Great location, nice room with very comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the free cold and hot water in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
