The free breakfast was stellar. In 30 years of hotel living, it may have been the best.

Breakfast was excellent. There was a nice selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Area was well maintained and staffed, particularly by Jennifer, who made some great suggestions and was very friendly and welcoming. You are lucky to have her as well as everyone at the Holiday Inn Express who made our stay a pleasant one. In addition, the front desk staff accommodated our request for additional bedding without any hesitation. Room itself and bathroom were spotless.

Our room ( and the bathroom) was extremely clean. It smelled fresh and clean and was immaculate. The room was beautiful and had a handy bench and hooks for our luggage and coats/purses. Great service. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! They looked after every detail right down to sprinkling cinnamon on pancakes and offering low sugar syrup. Lots of room to eat and it was very well organized. Staff did a great job refilling food dishes and cleaning the tables. We came for our fun yearly trip and now plan to make this our stay every time we go. We’ll definitely be back!

It was perfect!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the breakfast. We stayed two nights so took advantage of the breakfast twice. I particularly enjoyed the coffee, bacon, cinnamon buns and pancakes. The eggs were a bit overcooked so did not enjoy them as much. The eating area was clean and bright and the staff very attentive to everyone's needs. The pool was a great place to exercise and relax at the end of each day.

The air conditioner in our room was very noisy and cycled on and off frequently (we had it set at 22 degrees). I did mention this to the staff at checkout. We were in an "accessible" room and the sliding door for the bathroom did not completely cover the door opening space, which limited privacy there.

The stay was very nice, we had a great room...the breakfast was what we expected and always plentiful and staff was very pleasant.

Our only downfall for this hotel was not really with the hotel stay but appearance. The Canadian flag was tattered and torn for the Canada day celebration. When we addressed it with the staff they did say they would mention it to the manager but it wasn't changed . With so many tourists in the area for Canada day it was a disappointment to see that. Our room facing the flag was a constant reminder.

Several times we noticed fresh clean towels on the floor in the hallway. Not sure if they fell off the cart but the fresh clean hotel towels that were on the floor made it into the rooms. Also saw one of the ladies that serve breakfast take the trash out, came back in, did not change her gloves and started working on the breakfast buffet.

I had an event in Niagara-on-the-lake. This was a good and quiet place to stay not far away plus close enough to go see the falls. I liked that they had free parking at the property. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean, comfortable, and nice. It had a place for laundry and a fitness center plus lots of amenities. There was a travel Plaza with food options that is walkable and also places a short drive.

Breakfast was good but could have had more variety but good for a Holiday Inn.

Finally a room for two and a place to put both suitcases, most places we have stayed at offer 1 suitcase holder or spot, our room was clean and offered a 2 suitcase bench. Gfci in bathroom had a night light making washroom visits in the dark safer. All soaps came in refillable pump containers and included hand cream. Breakfast more than expected and great staff and food. Really pleased with the entire stay would like to say thanks. All staff friendly and welcoming every time we came in or went out.

Holiday Inn Express was located in an area that was of a showcase of beautiful fall leaves. The perfect location that led us to Niagara On The Lake, to many wineries, and we even went to the St Catharines locks and watched the boats go through the canal. There were many places to choose from for shopping and eating out, and our breakfast was terrific; we met wonderful people who were also celebrating their Anniversary. I honestly would recommend Holiday Inn Express. The excellent staff was spotless, and we had such a wonderful time. Thank you everyone.

The staff was great. Desiree was top notch. The breakfasts with eggs are awesome.

The lock on our door didnt work. There were a few bulbs out, and a clear shower door on a stand up shower meant no privacy in the single bathroom. Granted, the latter is an issue mainly for dads with girls, but still.
