The location is perfect for staying in the Seoul Lotte World Park area. Breakfast was European-style, and I liked it, but it was a little expensive. The staff members are polite and speak perfect English; communicating in the staying area was easy. There is a nice Non-smoking area around the hotel. Additionally, their elevator organization is wise; for example, hotel guests don't mix with other restaurant guests. Breakfast continues until 10.30 a.m

They want additional charges when the guest wants to deliver food from out. In modern times, most hotels ' time is too early, at 11 a.m. If possible, guests staying more than three nights would be considered check-in and check-out times.

This is our second time staying at Sofitel. We liked it very much at the first time as a couple and decided to stay with my family again as I thought it would be great with kids. I like the view of the lake and overall style of the hotel. We booked prestige suite with family room and prestige suite with lounge. Room was spacious but sadly the view is actually better when you stay luxury lake room which you have both lake and lotte tower but suite has direct lake view only which personally I prefer lotte tower view. Overall great.

We stayed over lunar new year which was the big issue. From the check in I felt like we were in a theme park. Check in process was hectic which if this was our first time there will be no second time but as we had such great experiences first time around, this time was huge let down. I understand the hotel was most like fully booked over lunar new year, but they make breakfast 3 different slots , and use the pool has to be pre booked only once a day and each time slot is like 1 to 1 and half hour. I have never experienced this kind of service anywhere in the world. It was stressful to have to book the slot to use the pool and although our room was suite so we had breakfast on 32nd floor instead of main restaurant on 4th floor so it wasn’t too crazy busy but was not relaxing.

This is our second time staying at Sofitel ambassador Seoul. ‘Seukchon lake’ view from the room is beautiful and so unique. The hotel is located in Jamsil which is within gangnam however there t is quite far from mainstream of gangnam but Jamsil has lots of attractions such as lotte world, lotte world mall /department store, lively food district called ‘Bang-i food street and ‘Song-ri Dan gil ‘ the lake is beautiful just strolling around and beautiful if you visit spring time with cherry blossoms. loved the first time we stayed and decided to stay with my family this time. We booked Family 1 King Bed With Sofabed Suite, Lake View ( which they upgraded us to extra bed instead of sofa bed , that was lovely) And prestige suit with club access. Room was spacious and stylish. However the view from these are directly lake view which some might prefer. But we liked the master king room that we stayed previous time as that room has lotte tower and lake view. It’s personal preference. We had dinner at fish market nearby one evening which is a great experience. Overall lovely hotel.

We stayed over lunar new year which is the biggest holiday in Korea therefore it was extremely busy especially this hotel is good for family with young kids, i felt like it was like a theme park… Check in was took long time as the lobby is small, breakfast was split into 3 sittings, there are 2 restaurants serving breakfast which we have choices for both so we had breakfast at 32nd floor both days due to the crowds issues at 4th floor. ( 32nd floor has vet view but smaller buffet) Swimming pool also operates with time limited slots which i was so annoyed even though i understand the busy period. Swimming pool was absolutely crazy busy… I love Sofitel brand and i do like Seoul but never again over holiday season or weekend. Didn’t feel relaxed or free…

Excellent service and hotel interior design. I had a lot of requests in advance of my stay and the team were very polite and made all requests happen. The restaurant MIO even created a vegetarian course menu for me. Very nice lake view and the food in the bar and breakfast was good as well. Just as you would expect from a five star hotel. I’ve stayed in multiple five star hotels in Seoul and the Sofitel was the best so far. I will be back soon.

Nothing much, sadly due to the bad air pollution we couldn’t really see much of the lake or the lotte tower next to us, but this is not in the hands of the hotel.

We stayed with the view of Lake and lotte tower ( signiel) The view is just breathtaking we loved it so much! And the room is very spacious and luxe! We generally ended the stay fitness club and swimming pool is great amazing view from everywhere. Breakfast was fabulous too.

We loved the view of the lake and landmark tower but… if this is your first time visiting Seoul, it might feel a bit away from the centre. Seoul is big city so wherever you stay, one place to the other seems far away. There are malls and attraction park but for us a bit less exciting area but hotel on its own was fabulous!

Excellent hotel! Upon arrival you are met by a very helpful and attentive concierge staff. The hotel lobby was very clean and check-in process was very fast. The room is spacious and classy. The comfort room is spacious. Housekeeping staff can be called easily and very helpful. The buffet breakfast food choices are very good. The location is excellent. It is just beside Lotte World Mall and just walking distance to the Metro station (Line 2, Jamsil station).

The bedroom and comfort room is nice and spacious, however, it is not quite functional. The space of the room could have been better utilized.

Great location ! Limousine 6705 dropped us off about 10 mins from the hotel . Situated in the modern area of Seoul with Lotte mall ( huge shopping centre and huge food court ) next to it . Also plenty of local eateries within five mins walk . You also have a 7/11 nearby. Jamsil metro is less than 10 mins walk from the hotel . Breakfast with extensive view over the lake is to die for . Gorgeous swimming , hot bath , outdoor jacuzzi with stunning views . Really good gym for a hotel . Lovely smell and music within the hotel . I loved my room on the 28th floor . It was spacious with beautiful decor

Superb location, outstanding service, beautiful property, fantastic breakfast!!! My favorite hotel in the whole world now! I travel a lot, and was amazed by what Sofitel Seoul had to offer. Exquisite design, detail oriented, classic French style. Breakfast to die for, the most amazing spread I’ve had worldwide. Excellent excellent service, all staff are all smiles and extremely helpful.

Staff attention to detail is next level. Friendly and caring beyond your expectations. They listen to request as well if you don’t like over accommodations. Property itself has wonderful views and everything is nearby. I can stay inside this property and spend the whole trip if I wanted. It’s at a resort level.
