Amazing staff. Special mention to Rosie who helped with any query we had and helped us make reservations where possible. The concierge staff were also incredible. I loved that they were always there to look after you and were extremely friendly. The room was amazing, very spacious, very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. I would come back to stay again.

The overall experience at sofital Ambassador Hotel was exceptional , the location of the Hotel was close to nearly everything a Huge Lotte world Mall, the street food , a very nice and breathtaking walking area

Everything was exceptional

The location of the hotel was only 10 minutes walk to Lotte World where we enjoyed a day in the part. Right next to the hotel was the Lotte Mall where you could basically find all types of shops from luxury brands to Korean popular shops. Food nearby was also fatastic. The hotel and the room were very clean and new. Staff was warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed the pool at the hotel a lot.

The pool changing room did not allow kids under 16 to enter so we had to change in our room before going to the pool and went back to the room wet after swimming. Lots of restrictions were set for family with kids - but I found the whole south korean society to be not so kids friendly. The hotel, out of the reason of being "eco-friendly", does not allow guest to bring back takeouts which was ok for us but might be troublesome for those who enjoy food with TV. The toothbrush and the toothpaste were not complementary - not an issue but just for the future coming guest who's reading this review to know. The hotel and the service residence shared elevator which made the waiting of the ride very long.

The location is perfect for staying in the Seoul Lotte World Park area. Breakfast was European-style, and I liked it, but it was a little expensive. The staff members are polite and speak perfect English; communicating in the staying area was easy. There is a nice Non-smoking area around the hotel. Additionally, their elevator organization is wise; for example, hotel guests don't mix with other restaurant guests. Breakfast continues until 10.30 a.m

They want additional charges when the guest wants to deliver food from out. In modern times, most hotels ' time is too early, at 11 a.m. If possible, guests staying more than three nights would be considered check-in and check-out times.

This hotel was absolutely brilliant. Clean, modern, excellent staff and in a perfect location. We took 3 rooms, our one was a 1 bedroom residential suite which was fabulous, great facilities, loved the bathroom with a Great Lake view. Exceptionally comfortable bed. The bar on the top floor was excellent and the staff so nice and helpful, they went above and beyond in terms of customer service. This is a perfect location for us and we will definitely be back.

If I was nit-picking, the only minor issue was that even though the room had blackout curtains, unfortunately the top of the curtains had a gap and let in light early in the morning which woke us up. I prefer a room to be totally dark.

The staff is very professional, very helpful and well English spoken as for location the hotel is next to huge mall which provides all essentials while there is beautiful park on lake in front of the hotel which beautiful for morning walk if the weather helps. The hotel is located around 30 min by car to the old town, but I'm glad we stayed that far as the hotel located in quite area and high class

The only downside side is the elevator, which you need to switch two elevators to reach your floor.
