From our recent stay vs. a litany of complaints on past reviews, it appears they have taken many of those criticisms and fixed the majority of them.... or folks just like to complain or think they are going to get an Embassy Suites-esque experience for half the price. The hotel is an old Ramada, recently remodeled in an urban style with exposed conduit, unfinished concrete ceilings, etc. The breakfast included in the room price was outstanding for a Saturday during a non-football weekend. Texas waffle maker, biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage patties, fresh fruit salad, bagels, yogurt, OJ, coffee...dont know what folks are expecting for $165 on a Saturday night stay in the fall, but I can't take a family of 4 out to a non-fast-food breakfast for less than $60.

Elevator needs some work on the finishings, if it's supposed to look urban/steam punk, they missed the mark. Common occurrence across all hotels, guests need to learn how to close a door without shaking the entire hall and waking up guests at 6AM.

Airy, bright, looked clean and well kept, easy parking, felt safe, clearly under renovations (aka elevators) but it showed maintenance.

There seem to be only one communicating door from my room to the next, so no sound barrier, and the peoplein that room were loud, I could have participated in their conversation…maybe better sound insulation is in order? The bed was on the soft side for me, I assumed it was a memory foam, but I guess some people like it.

We have stayed at the hotel more than once, and never had any issues.

The hotel called me the morning that we were supposed to check in, we were about five hours away and still driving. The hotel said that my booking wasn’t made, when actually it was. They were able to fix it over the phone but then, once I checked in the same issue came up. I was finally able to book for two nights and get some rest.

Front desk person was great. The young lady Sarah was very friendly and helped me with the issue I had in my first room. Breakfast was good. I got breakfast on my second day there.

I was issued a handicap room. Room was small. When I got in the shower there were stains on the corners of the shower that looked like mold. Luckily I was able to get moved to a regular room the following day.

Motel was in a good location in college station. It had an excellent continental breakfast much more extensive than I would typically expect at this level of hotel. It included eggs bacon biscuits and gravy fruit waffles and many other items. The beds were comfortable the sheets were soft and the pillows were supportive. I would definitely stay here again.

Elevators looked a little worn out.

Location was great. Staff was awesome. Amenities were fine. Was only there for a short period but it meet what we needed for the stay. Cookies were nice.

Price was not that great but it was graduation weekend so I guess it should've been expected. The only really bad thing with the room was the shower. There was absolutely zero water pressure so it was hard for multiple people to shower and get ready for the graduation.

Easy access, easy parking, close to everything, clean, quiet, comfortable. Obviously under remodeling but with no trouble to the guests. Special appreciation for the powerful showers!

The mattresses are memory foam I assume: I prefer my mattresses quite firms, but that’s a personal preference.

Great vibe. Game room, music. Front desk was helpful. Breakfast was good. Would like more than a single coffee station, but otherwise good. We will be back to this hotel, even though we are Marriott members. This hotel was like what I think Aloft wants to be.

Parking was terrible. Had to park at a Jack in the Box due to not a single available parking space for 2 rooms, 2 cars. Risky, even though there was an arrangement with the hotel to do so. Perfectly good stay except for parking.

The breakfast & coffee are well done & we appreciate the happy hours as well. The rooms were clean & the staff very nice. It is close to the stores, restaurants & A&M. I highly recommend to my friends.

I always recommend offering happy hour cocktail & appetizers after a long day of watching swim it’s nice to have time to relax before going to the room.

Great location in relation to TAMU. Friendly staff. Free breakfast options were satisfactory. Bar area was nice. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good value for the price I paid of just over $100 a night.

Definitely some unfinished and outdated aspects. Water pressure in the shower was poor when the faucet was not completely turned to hot. Humid in the hallway on the 4th floor but it was 95+ degrees outside.
