Great and quiet location, highly recommend a car or tour group with transport as we didn’t see any public transport around. The town has a few restaurants around and is a nice place to walk through. It sits between the US and British D-day beaches. So you can go either direction on days to see those. The furthest being about an hours drive or so. Lovely countryside to drive through. Car park is around the back, had enough spaces for the time and had easy access to the hotel. Reception and bar area was cosy, there’s a few board games you can play to chill out with a drink or food. TV often had sport on.

The property sits in the heart of the port and makes for fun mornings and evenings watching the fishing boats come and go! We loved how cool our A/C made our room and the rooms were quiet and comfortable! The staff are very friendly and spoke good English! Breakfast was good although you have bakery’s right down the road.

The only thing I didn’t like was how small the back parking lot is for larger cars and the path to get to the parking lot can be dangerous if two cars come head on as you can’t see around the corners very well at all. Some mirrors should be added for better visibility.

The location was great, parking good. Staff were pleasant & spoke adequate English for us to understand. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, although I personally didn't like the pillows. They seem fluffy, but went flat when you laid on them. The bathroom was small but adequate & was as you would expect. Towels were a good size & soft. We didn't have food, as dogs weren't allowed in the dining area & the lounge area wasn't suitable for eating a meal. But it was a nice area with games and books available for use. All in all we had a lovely one night stay and will definitely use Ibis again.

There should have been at least 2 bottles of water in the room. As there was no tea/coffee making facialaties, and after a long drive a drink is very welcome. This is standard in any accommodation in England. We missed a small table on the patio, as it overlooked the harbour, would have been nice to have a sandwich and drink out there. Although I do appreciate that space was tight. Perhaps something attached to the railings.

In a good position beside the fishing port which was interesting watching how they went about their business. Good breakfast no complaints about that, Beer bar service spot on Bed room service was normal like you would expect from a holiday hotel

Car parking, As my wife is disabled and I am not very able to walk great distances without a stick, disabled parking is “U/S”only 1 bay that was used by 1 person During our stay, the parking behind should be used only for the disabled not forcing them to park in your up hill parking area steps and up hill involved to get into and out of your hotel

Good location, close to sights and town, close to harbour and channel. Halfway between town of Bayeux and D-Day beaches. Breakfast was good, same choices each day. Parking is good. Rooms are small and very basic but clean and comfortable. Very quiet area and noise in hotel very minimal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good wifi. Lobby area small but confortable

Not a dislike but something to consider. Very limited lunch or dinner options on site but plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are on the smaller side and basic amenities. No balcony but window view of mostly boats and very little harbour. Bathroom and shower is clean and also very basic.

Hotel in an excellent location for this pretty little port. Plenty of parking around the back of the hotel. Easy walk to the town which has plenty of restaurants & bars. Breakfast was good. Check in time was quite early & check out later than most places so we had plenty of time to see the town.

Room a little on the small size but certainly adequate. Bathroom was a cubicle type, a bit like on a ferry, but adequate too but it was a bit noisy when next door's shower was in use.

Excellent Breakfast Buffet. The bed matress was excellent for someone who weighs 110kgs. The Location was perfect in walking distance the shops and restaurants. Please. I request you forward this message to Wladdy at the Reception who was very helpful and went above and beyond her normal duties to assit my Family for our next journey.

The shower in the bathroom was a plastic cabin prefab you see in commercial airlines. There is a step to enter the bathroom and exit could lead to someone injuring themselves. What is ignoring is the room key needs to be inserted into the slot before any lights come on. Suggest all guests be issued two room keys so if you leave a light on before departing the room you are not completely in the dark when you return.

Called on way to hotel, to advise could be arriving later than planned, staff spoke English which was helpful. Staff all very polite and helpful. Room as required, twin beds, which were very comfortable, bathroom / toilet good, towels changed daily when room serviced. Room small but not an issue. Continental breakfast good range of food items to choose from. Small bar which was acceptable. Car park at rear very good. Nice 'port' town with good range of small restaurants etc for evening meals. Good value for money.

Super friendly staff, except for the guy that didn't let us take coffee to the room. A/C control. Shower. Soundproof windows. Modern facilities. Room size. Location is very nice but its Port-en-Bessin - a fishing village; Bayeaux 'center ville' is a 15 minutes drive. Parking. Restaurants in Port-en-Bessin (try Fleur de Sel - Cod was mega great).

No fridge. No coffee machine. No safety box. Floor not clean. Beds are back breakers. Pillows below average.

The area is a working port, it`s interesting and good for a base camp with a few plces to eat in the evening.

We had our dog and were told the dog would be allowed in the breakfast area. This was an area away from the people without a dog. Fair enough, our only small complaint would be that the table was a coffee table and not a very good height to enjoy breafast.
