Fantastic location, and wifii wasn't as bad as other reviews I've seen. I think i may depend on where you're room is. Getting connected was often a drama, took calling IT but they fixed it. The pool was decent size for laps. Location really good, just a step out to all the restaurants and shops. 10 minute walk to beach. Nice grounds to walk around. Staff amazing, friendly and helpful.

The loud western music at the pool all day long was horrible. My room was far away not to hear it until you get to the pool. Pool often filled with drunk Aussie men which should have been monitored more. One guy was even rolling around with face down in the water. And on reporting to security they were very relaxed about doing anything about it. it took the family to come and get him out of the pool. That made it very unpleasant to be by the pool daily. Coupled with the loud western music. Not so peaceful if you had a room around the pool. No body getting massages around the pool, which would have been nice, but music just a big turnoff. The tiles around the pool where dangerous. Often broken or loose. A nasty accident is in the wings.

The wifi was weak , more power points needed as there is only 1 to use, the pool man needs to collect towels when people leave as the chairs look full with towels left behind and people look & leave

Great location and pretty close to all amenities that we needed. Restaurants, bars, beach. Right on the fringe of Legian but easy walking distance of less than 10 minutes. We've stayed here several times. Staff are friendly and helpful, amenities clean and room fairly spacious and comfortable. Our room was set back from the main street, adjacent to the pool with no traffic noise to be heard. 2 for 1 cocktails around the pool between 3-6pm. Breakfast was decent and filling.

Some of the rooms are starting to feel their age and in need of a spruce up, kicks of paint and some maintenance. They had a gym with a few free weights and a few machines but they are no maintained and the machines probably need throwing out or replacing as they appear a safety concern and quite work out and rickety.

We love this as a family stay. This is our second stay and same room. We love the location. Staff are the friendliest. Very welcoming. Breakfast has a good range. My girls loved that everyday they had a new towel animal on their bed, highlight after returning from a massage. They found it even funnier when their teddies were riding the animals. Pool area is clean, always a nice vibe, cocktails are yum! We always go to bintang supermarket and buy fish food so we can feed the fish. We feel very at home when we stay here.

Always running out of pools towels so we had to use bath towels :-( wish they allocated pool towels to each room.

The staff and the property is very clean.

The bathroom needs some maintenance as it tends to leak water near the toilet. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud near the pool. 🙂

I thought the location might have been noisy due to the proximity of Legian st but a couple of messages to the hotel staff to get a room in a quiet area I couldn’t even hear the local traffic

Well one thing I know needs attention is the grey cobble pebbles around the pool edge seriously sharp on the feet !! Look the property is quaint old Bali and what you would expect being a little dated however I did see ongoing upgrades to rooms painting and cleaning etc and with a 120 odd,old rooms it’s a challenge. I guess the one thing that I felt is a bit of a stretch is the 21% surcharge for services and government tax in the restaurant, nearly brings some of the basic dishes not far off Australian prices needless to say there would be very few tips left but on a positive note the staff are mostly wonderfully happy and friendly

The staff were fabulous - from reception to housekeeping. The room was adequate, breakfast had a lot of options, special all you can eat buffet and cultural dance very good. The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach, shopping massage services etc. Good value.

My room did not have an inside table and chairs as seen in other rooms. I did ask to have something brought in but it didn't happen. As I don't do cocktails or beer it would have been good to have a G'n'T 2 for 1 happy hour option. The bed was a bit too firm, as were the pillows.

The location was excellent, the pool was a lot of fun and having the swim up bar and charged back to the room, couldn't ask for more! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They will be friends for life. The restaurant at the front had the best food, great prices, icy cold drinks and the Brekky every day was so nice.

The bathrooms could do with a good bleach clean. Grime in grout and damp smell throughout the room. My air con was leaking water which was quite dangerous walking under Neath it at night. Gets slippery on the tiles. The walls in the rooms need a clean too. Lots of dirty marks and 1 of my rooms had some black mould around the ceiling.
