what went well?..... what didnt? this hotel is like a little piece of home away from home the stuff are all AMAZING the entrance reception staff were amazing super amazing and so kind then you have the most helpful two women i have met in my life jennifer and ginevra who work the level lounge reception both helped make our stay truly to die for by helping with every little detail both to do with their jobs and not especially ginevra that women is an angel on earth! the hotel it self was so lux and chic very beautiful super nice room with big space and a beautiful bathroom really worth every cent wish we stayed for longer! and the food was great too in the level lounge with everything being free 24/7 now that is what i call a get away vacation!

We had the pleasure of staying at Melià Milano for 10 days, first 5 days I was there for work then added 5 days for vacation. It truly exceeded our expectations. One of the standout features of our stay was the service at The Level 1. The women at guest services were exceptional—they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From booking dinner reservations to organizing tours, and taking the time to explain the city’s attractions, their personalized service made a huge difference. I can’t stress enough how worthwhile it was to book a room with The Level 1 package. The Level 1 lounge was a fantastic perk, with snacks and beverages available 24 hours a day, offering a great spot to relax. During our stay, we experienced some noise from construction work in an adjoining room, but the hotel responded quickly by upgrading us to a spacious business suite. They even offered to pack our belongings for us (which we politely declined), but they brought the new keys and our bags to our new room—talk about attention to detail! A huge thank you to Laura, who was especially wonderful. She was incredibly kind, always ensuring we had everything we needed. To top it off, they surprised me with cake, balloons, and wine in the room for my birthday while we were out for dinner—a thoughtful touch that really made the day special. I’d also like to thank Camilla, who took the time to write a personalized letter about the best sights to visit in Milan, and another lovely staff member (whose name I unfortunately missed) who worked tirelessly to find a spa date for me on my birthday. Our room was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and provided a luxurious experience throughout our stay. All in all, Melià Milano offers an exceptional combination of fantastic service, excellent amenities, and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!

A modern, easy to reach hotel between airport (Malpensa) and the city center. Close to public transport, good food in the hotel, friendly staff, lively lobby. Decent size room and bathroom. Sparkling clean.

2 things: The room was really warm as well as the basic sound of the A/C was, at least in our room (557) relatively loud. The A/C control did not respond in change of roomtemperature or fan speed. The touch screen was damaged and though it did respond, it did not control what it was supposed to control: in our case temperature, fan and (all the) lights. Suggestion at reception did not make a difference despite maintenance was said to have it checked. Unfortunately no succes. We are used to sleep in a room around 18-19 degrees, but is must have been over 23-24 degrees. Our own solution is that we slept with the balcony door wide open (early February) to get the room temparature down. All in all we expected more comfort fot the price per night.

Loved the open lounge with food and drinks. Great concierge staff support. Superior job Camilla! She really helped us with train tickets and suggestions for an excursion to Pavia. She’s a rockstar!!

Would have liked larger cups for tea and/or teapots. Please open the windows and curtains during breakfast- it was dark and gloomy- not inviting for an Italian wake up! We tip regularly. Offended by the 90Euro fee on departure. Pay the staff well and don't put that burden on your guests.

Everything was perfect, very attentive and helpful staff. Room was quite big with extra-room for work. Everyday I received fruits and some drinks complimentary from the hotel. Separately, I would like to share extremely positive feedback regarding Club Lounge located on the 6th floor: open 24/7, wide range of drinks (water, juices, Cola, beer, wine etc.) and snacks like croissants and chips. Full breakfast is available there as well. Service was awesome 👏 One of the benefits was meeting Kyle Walker who seems to live here as well! 😎

- very nice entrance area, which makes a great impression - staff friendly, helpful - the check-in was fast. they couldn't offer us an early check-in, but took care of the bags and they were in our room, when we came back at 14:00 - the room is spacious, the beds were very big and very comfortable - the minibar prices seemed moderate - the bathroom has everything you need - short walk to city life, san siro stadium and direct connection to any other interesting part of the city

- I agree with other reviewers, that the hotel is not a teen anymore and needs some maintenance here and there. some would say it has some charm as is and they would also be right - it's a more of an hotel for a business trip. you don't get any additional services like a spa or a pool. not really a "contra", but needs to be considered - the breakfast of this 5 star hotel could've been "richer". the choice was the same during our 3 days stay - stuff like smoked salmon for breakfast you get for additional charge - it's included only with the club membership rooms (forgot the name). same probably goes for bubbly ;)german 4 star hotels have better breakfasts

Location was terrific, especially since Milan has an excellent public transport system, I used the nearby train & bus links daily to see Milan while my partner walked easily to Milan Convention Centre nearby. We had a beautiful lunch in the restaurant and enjoyed the voucher to access Gold’s Gym around the corner.

Our bedroom was warmer than we would have liked, and cooling system seemed ineffectual. At least we could open the window, and no mosquitos visited us.

Loved the hotel. Staff was super nice especially Carlos in the VIP lounge. He was just awesome. Without us asking he prepared some delicious snacks for us which we just loved. He also made a few delightfully tasty local Mocktails for us. I would highly recommend this hotel for the staff friendliness and politeness and the location which was just next to the metro station.

Washrooms looked a bit dated. Our shower glass seemed as if it would fall anytime. The bath tub was huge. For my 10 year old son it was uncomfortable to enter the tub for a shower without my help.

Location, Quality of surroundings, attractive room design.

We came for breakfast thirty minutes before closing time. Unfortunately, the staff started clearing the food off of the display tables shortly after we walked in. So we couldn't have an adequate amount of food, and as a result, we spent 60 EUR on two cups of coffee, and a little bit of food was not justified.

The hotel was good. We really liked the lounge, which was available 24 hours a day. The service was excellent as well as the breakfast. . The next day, the problem was fixed.

The air conditioner in our room didn’t work, and on the first night we had to sleep with a fan which was ok and on the next day, the problem was fixed. The hotel is located far from the city center and requires travel by public transportation.
