convenient for the airport , and has a free shuttle. room spacious and clean

room was so humid, air con didn’t make a difference. a fan would have been useful. breakfast was included in the room we booked but at 17chf it wasn’t really worth that.

For us the most important aspect of this hotel was its location close by the Geneva Airport. We had an early flight that required us to be at the airport at 0430 and, due to the early morning hour, the shuttle was not running. However, the hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the airport, with the pedestrian lane along the road protected from traffic. Although it was dark at the time we walked, the area was sufficiently lighted and we did not feel any safety concerns. While the hotel is close to the airport, we had no noise issues.

It would be useful if the hotel had a 24 hour shuttle; if it had been raining the walk would have been a lot less pleasant.

Room was very clean, tidy and temperature controlled. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom good with a large shower, sheets and towels etc good.TV excellent. The breakfast buffet and evening dining were good quality and the facilities were clean and organised. Bus shuttle to and from airport excellent (within certain hours). Staff friendly, co-operative and efficient.

Absence of glasses, kettle, etc in room but probably not unusual in this part of Europe and at this budget? Not an issue for us as we were not part of any group, but several groups arrived during our stay. The single desk clerk struggled processing them all quickly which caused stress for the newcomers and no doubt the staff.

The staff is mostly responsive, but they didn't answer the questions of how to walk from the airport to the hotel in time. And it turns out part of the short cut was unpaved and unlit so it's NOT possible to use it at night, despite the short distance from the airport, as our flights arrived close to midnight. The hotel DOES provide shuttle from 5:30 to 11:30 (approx.) and it is VERY convenient. There is also luggage storage and a spacious sitting area.

the twin bed is super small and the mattress top kept moving, I almost fell off of the bed while getting up and I have a pretty small frame so be careful.

Only a 10 min walk from the airport, there’s also a free shuttle but even though we were there early it was already full and we couldn’t get on. It was dry, so a walk was absolutely fine. The room was clean, spacious, warm and bed was comfortable. We arrived very late and had a super early flight, got checked in super quickly and check out was very straightforward.

Would be nice to have some proper glasses in the room - to have water next to the bed. Water tasted awful from the paper cup available after only an hour. The sockets in the room don’t work with the classic adaptor - they are for skinny plugs. Finally found one far away from the mirror making it difficult to get ready in the morning.

The room was perfect - clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was within easy reach of the airport and it was very easy to hop on a local bus into Geneva. The hotel staff issued me with a free travel pass. I was given breakfast at 4.15am, to fit in with my early start for my flight the next day.

It would have been good if the shuttle operated more hours. It did not start early enough for me to get to the airport for my 6.10am flight, so I had to get a taxi. Also, on arrival, the shuttles had not started, so I walked to the hotel, which took 10 minutes. Luckily, I had very little luggage. It would have been good if I could have got the shuttle to the hotel both ways.

Location.. good stay for an overnight to catch an early flight. FYI for a new traveler: the hotel is located on the opposite side of the airport. If you come by train, you need to go up and up again and get out from the main door. From here in the middle, you will see a bridge crossing to the other side, and you can walk across the bridge, then turn right walk along the pedestrian way. Right hand side from the bridge, you will see ibis hotel. They provide free airport shuttle service running every 20 minutes: From 5AM to 11AM and from 5:30 PM to 11:30PM (last departure from the airport to the hotel).

It was close to the airport yet quiet and not far from a bus route into town. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were some nice eateries nearby plus one night we enjoyed beer & pizzas in the hotel's bar

It's notionally within walking distance of the airport but there was no obvious pedestrian path over the big roadways. It was confusing. A clear map provided on booking would've been useful as we didn't yet have data on our phones on arrival. We had to cab it. Their free shuttle wasn't running at the time we got there

The Receptionist was very helpful. I arrived very late at night, around 1 a.m. due to the delay of my flight. I only had 3 hours of stay before my departure back to the airport for my flight connection. Seeing me coming back to check out at 4:30 a.m., probably looking extremely exhausted, he offered me hot coffee and a "warm" croissant, how attentive! The room had surprisingly bigger size than expected, well decorated, clean with comfortable beddings.

Although indicating in the website that it is located within a 450 m.-walking distance, it is a very tricky way and extremely difficult to take, especially at night and during the wee hours! Be careful if you are travelling by yourself. I am a female senior who travelled solo and had a flight delayed. By the time we got to Geneva Airport the hotel shuttle bus has ceased operation. I would have taken a taxi but the hotel map of walking path provided seemed straight forward with the hotel signage in clear view across from the airport, so I decided to walk. Bad choice and dangerous!

The cleanliness everywhere, the calm, great curtains to block out the light in the room, the choice of using air conditioning or not, the possibility of opening a window, functionality of the room, and wonderful staff, special mention for Tom at reception, who registered upon arrival and went over and above to cater to our needs with adapters etc., all while being exceptionally pleasant. The price was great, really happy with this Ibis Airport Hotel. Bravo and thank you!
