Fantastic customer service, staff were very welcoming and our room was ready as soon as we arrived at around 11am which was a bonus. The room was very spacious with a nice view of the river, bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, hot showers, all you can ask for really. Previous reviews mentioned the bathrooms were quite small and staff also mentioned it to us upon arrival but I honestly had no issues. They were small yes but we had a large fireplace in our room with a mirror above the mantle and a power point right next to it so I was able to do all things hair and makeup there. The place was also quite affordable in comparison with other options I saw in Geneva, the hotel had a charming vintage feel and was walkable distance to public transport and attractions. I’d definitely look at staying here again.

Floors were a little bit creaky but that’s to be expected in an older building and it wasn’t enough to be annoying. Double bed was two singles pushed together but I had no issues with that setup and they were very comfortable.

think it is a nice location - right on the end of the lake side. It is quite and great views. The rooms are small (perhaps that is standard for Geneva); i was moved once from rooms so i got the chance in staying in two type of rooms. The only difference was the size and the views from the room. Clean room and good wifi. The reception staff were super helpful. all of them and help me in with all the necessary information. They have a kitchen in the lobby area which is basic though i did not use it. Not very far from the train station and the bus stop would be about a 5 min walk 100-200 metres. Happy with the choice because it away from the noise and peaceful

nothing much really - maybe there were no breakfast places immediately close by or markets to pick up items.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I liked the hotel very much because it is an old building. I stayed in a room overlooking the river and I really enjoyed drinking coffee with that view. There was a fireplace in the room, very romantic. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They inform you about everything. Since you are a tourist, Geneva Card is free, so when you take the tram number 15 from the main train station, you get off right in front of the hotel. If I go to Geneva again, I will definitely stay in this hotel. Thanks for everything

Brilliant location, right on the river and a short walk from lots of excellent shops, restaurants, and scenic spots. Staff were superb throughout, and our room was a good size, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. Despite proximity to a major road/tram way, the room was surprisingly quiet and well soundproofed.

The shower worked well, but an adjustable head/wall fixture would have made showering a lot easier. We also visited in a heat wave, and whilst the hotel provided a decent desk fan, air-con would have been preferable.

The apartment was so nice and comfortable to stay in with all the essentials for a short or long stay. It is perfectly located, a five minute walk from Grenoble Central train and bus stations, with many restaurants and shops in and around the area. I would recommend a trip to Annecy and Geneva given the great transport links.The daily view of the magnificent mountains and cable cars from the apartment was a very nice added bonus. Thanks to the host for patiently waiting for me when I was unexpectedly delayed and for the information about the surrounding area I thoroughly enjoyed the walks. In summary I would recommend a stay in the apartment and rebook it! Merci beaucoup à la prochaine!

There was no provision for breakfast, but my room had a fridge, a kettle and cups so that I could buy and keep fresh milk and make a cup of tea. Location was fabulous- easy walking distance from the railway station, the Old Town, right next to the Rhone river with amazing river views from my room, and views of the jet d eau just a few footsteps away.

Very small room- but I cannot complain, as the price was commensurate. It would have been nice to be able to get breakfast in the hotel. without having to venture out.

The location was great; walkable from main train station (albeit a bit of a drag if you have a heavy case like mine. Plenty of taxis at station if required), also the lake and old town very accessible from there on foot. Price very reasonable for Geneva; it is a budget hotel. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The reception was open, when we were there, well into the evening. City maps were freely available at reception. A day or two before arrival the hotel sent a link for us to get a pass for free transport within the Geneva area, which meant we had the train from the airport free. The pass also includes trams, buses and water taxis. We stayed there twice, two days at start of our holiday to Switzerland and one day at end, and received a transport pass for each stay. There was a kettle in the room (not so for all hotels in Switzerland!). The views of the river Rhone from our bedroom were great. Good shower.

No milk provided in the room, although there was a limited supply of tea bags and coffee sachets. There is a mini market virtually next door where you can buy milk. I was not clear at the time of booking that the "private bathroom" for our room was across the corridor and not en-suite. Most are actually en-suite, but at a higher price. Having said that we managed o.k. and had very nice views as we were in one of the rooms at the corner of the building, bit like a turret (room 21 for both stays).

You can hear everything from the other rooms—every step they take, the click of their charger, and the sound of a hairdryer. This morning, I woke up at 7 AM because I could hear every movement as people in the other rooms started waking up. Then, the room cleaners arrived, making it worse. I could hear the vacuum, the rustling of garbage bags, and their conversations like they were right in my room. It gave me a headache.

This hotel has a lot of character. Their rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. It is a very short walk to the major attractions in the city, makes is a perfect location and value for money as compared to the other hotels around in that area. Keep in mind that their elevator actually starts from the 1st floor so you need to carry your luggage a couple of stairs before you reach the elevator but this was clearly indicated in the hotel description while booking so it wasn't a surprise for us.

The bathrooms in the rooms are very small. almost gives the vibe of an airplane bathroom.

Loved: The oriel with view over the Rhone. That was the reason I picked the hotel and chose that room. :o Wow! The ergonomic memory-foam pillows! As good as home :) The feel it’s not brand-sparkling new build and decoration that’s cost the planet a bomb. :) The shutters which gave us complete darkness for a good night’s sleep. :D The high high ceilings and the read in the bay-window in the setting sun!

There's not much you can do about neighbours and passers-by: cheeky dogs barked one of the nights we of our stay and I heard them! Husband slept right through though. ;)
