Great location, very close to main attractions including Jet d’Eau, the flower clock and the Old Town, as well as great access to public transport systems. Lots of restaurants and takeaway places around so lots of choices available for food. Room was spacious and clean with good facilities (looked exactly as shown in pictures). I booked a single room but got a twin room so there was plenty of storage for my items. Loved the lighting in the rooms and bathroom facilities. Staff were friendly and willing to answer any questions. They provided an international adaptor when asked (as I brought the wrong type!). Good, basic breakfast.

Beds were not as comfortable as I would’ve liked, especially the pillows. Could have had more selection of cereals at breakfast and brown bread. Curtain in room did not close all the way (although not major) but could cause concern about people in street being able to see into room, also meant less effective blocking of sunlight in early morning when trying to sleep. Room got quite warm at night. Rooms not completely soundproof as at times could hear people in corridor at night. Lastly, it would’ve been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep food if needed, as well as long life milk available in the room for the tea/coffee.

Very good location, 5 min walk from station and 10 mins from Lake Geneva. Nice clean, modern looking hotel. Good shower. The air con was slow to kick in but useful when it was running.

The room was a bit cramped for 3 people. The trendy design within the room included a perspex wall to screen off the bathroom area, and a perspex door for the toilet/shower which does not make it very private. The TV was very small and reception did not have spare batteries for the remote control. You have to obtain milk from reception if you want it for tea or coffee.

The hotel is ideally located, just a 3-5 minute walk from convenient transportation options including trains, buses, and trams. There are numerous cafés and restaurants nearby, and a shopping mall is close by. It’s also a pleasant 10-minute walk to the lake and the historic old town. The hotel is very clean and offers good WiFi. The service at the reception was excellent, especially Marco, who provided invaluable assistance when we checked in, helping us navigate the area and recommending places to visit.

Our room was spacious and well-suited for three guests, featuring three single beds. However, we found the beds and pillows to be less comfortable than expected. Breakfast was decent but could be improved. Some items, particularly pastries, were not refilled during our visit, and when we requested more, the staff simply said no.

Brilliant location, close to the central train station, with restaurants, fast food chains and shops within walking distance. For those in need of a caffeine fix a well known chain is on the corner if you turn left out of the main entrance. A 10 minute walk from the hotel and you are on the shores of Lake Geneva. Brilliant staff, very friendly and polite, even found an umbrella for me to borrow, when it was raining. Room was clean with bathroom and shower, a safe for your valuables, a kettle with coffee and tea.

We were travelling by train from Turino to Geneva. We were looking for a property that was within walking distance of the train station. Also, there were three of us in our group, so we needed a room that could accommodate all three. Hotel Cristal was able to meet all of those needs.

The clerk at check-in was not familiar with restaurants open after 10 pm. Having a list of options for delivery or dining would have been very helpful after a long day of travel.

WiFi was weak; it was ok for email, but horrible for conference calls, WhatsApp, etc. I would come back, if they improve the WiFi. Also, the breakfast was tolerable but boring--needs more variety (e.g., some whole grain bread and rolls, maybe more cheese variety, other vegetarian options).

The location of the hotel is great with easy access to almost everything essential. Rooms are neat and generally very tidy environment. Also great to have access to public transport provided for by the hotel and very friendly and professional staff.

There was confusion with pricing as what was advertised on the website was different from what the hotel asked for. a difference of more than 150usd was too much and i felt cheated. It is important that pricing is done in a more transparent way and where usd is not accepted should be stated clearly before someone does any booking.

The staff was lovely. The room was well-sized, and the wifi worked well. I liked the breakfast area. It's very easy to access the hotel from the train station. Make sure to ask for the free public transport option when you check in.

The position of the shower head was a little wonky. If you have mobility issues, you have to climb into a high tub to bathe. Would have liked some hot food choices at the breakfast.

First thing was the position, the hotel is very central, close to the station of Geneve and to many restaurant, fast food and cafes. The room was quite big and comfortable. The hotel gave us the Geneva transport card and this was very appreciated by us; and we had the chance to leave the luggage after check out as well! Plus, the receptionists were all very kind, especially Marco :) Thanks for everything!

Good location near train station, restaurants, main shopping area, public transport. Clean room, sheets, towels, modern fixtures etc.

The air conditioning could not compete with the 90F+ degree heat wave. Our room was never cooler than 79F, and humid too. Not fun to sleep in. But if you’re not staying during a heat wave, it’s a very solid choice.
