Fantastic and comfortable hotel in a central location just opposite the railway station. Thanks to excellent windows the room stayed very quiet (and warm). Superb staff, very helpful and cheerful. We stayed in two single rooms on the 7th floor with nice views towards the Jet d'eau. Opted for the 18 CHF breakfast which was also satisfying. Received free transport passes for the duration of the stay, which is a wonderful system and can be used to catch the train to and from the airport. Highly recommend this hotel!

(1) Bedroom TV listed more international news channels than were actually available, e.g. no BBC World News; (2) Inadequate system for clothes on supplied hangers, i.e. no cupboard/wardrobe; (3) Shower towels old & worn, so not absorbent.

Staff was really great, receptionist is friendly and he accomodated our requests, thank you so much for this. Comfortable beds and clean room. Nice view from the room. Many charging plugs. Very quiet and we had a good night sleep.

The bathroom style is a bit awkward, with transparent door at the top and bottom (looking from outside in), and there is no sound isolation from glass door, so it is a bit uncomfortable if you are sharing the room with somebody. Also the glass door is a mirror from the inside so you can look at yourself directly while on the toilet and can't see the other side (in case somebody you share room with is on the other (transparent) side. Probably the most awkward design for a bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. There was no clothing storage and breakfast didn't have much choice, but it was ok for 1 night.

The hotel is right across the Geneva Train Station . Very accessible.

The room was a little small but quite clean. There is no closet for clothes, minimal space for luggage. There is also no personal ref inside the room. We missed that since we bought some cheese and cured meats that need refrigeration. Otherwise, all the necessities were there.

The location is convenient to the the main train station. The view from my room was the station. Not pretty but convenient. I was concerned by traffic noise but the room was extremely quiet. The room was small with not much room to maneuver around the bed, but it was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was typical of similar hotels and adequate but not noteworthy. I didn't pay for it for the whole period soI got it some mornings and not others depending on my schedule. I used the room safe and the batteries died one day and they were replaced in less than an hour. Lots of restaurants within a short walk of the hotel that cover a variety of genres and prices is always a good thing.

The only thing I didn't like was not related to the hotel itself. The area around the hotel has a lot of traffic particularly during the week. In fact, one might call it a mad house. Perhaps not like Rome in the old days but some attention to cars is warranted more so than in other Swiss cities I've been in.

We were only in Geneva for 2 nights as a stop over between France and Italy, commuting by train. As it was a short stay we wanted something comfortable but close to the station. This stay exceeded our expectations. Rooms were modern, large and with aircon. It was right across from the station so after a 4.5 train from Paris, it was so easy to get off the train and walk directly across the road and check in. The main area where the restaraunts and shops are is only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. We also did a day trip back to France while in Geneva and the bus stop was 3 minutes away. Perfect location and very comfortable. If I go back to Geneva would certainly stay again.

The Bernini was the perfect spot for a few night stop over prior to an international flight. Yes, the room was on the small side, but that's to be expected in a European city. Bonus was the mini fridge, as it was quite hot the two days I was visiting. There are a few grocery stores nearby, so grabbing essentials was super easy. The hotel is located right across from the train station, which I thought would be loud but it wasn't. Blackout curtains were amazing, so I had no issues with sleeping. The pub next door was a hot spot for happy hour or a late night drink, and the food was rather decent too. Would definitely stay here again.

The solution for hanging clothes was not ideal - a few hangers around a shelf. It worked out OK for me, as I didn't need to hang but 1 thing. But just a thing to note if staying for business and hoping to hang nice clothes. Also, could've used a small stand or stool in the bathroom to hold clothes/towels instead of putting on countertop.

Hotel Bernina was a fantastic surprise find. I booked it for a one night layover in Geneva, and it turned out to be such a nice and comfortable place to stay near the Geneva station. The front desk team was extremely helpful and friendly, the facilities stylish and clean, and importantly - our room was artfully decorated, updated (modern) and quiet with very comfortable bedding. The hotel has a nice sitting area or reading room on the main floor, which was nice to sit in, and a cozy dining hall for breakfast service. The location across Gare de Geneve was our initial reason for staying there, but this hotel stands out among the other hotels in the area that I've stayed at.

I stayed at the hotel from October 5 to October 12. Wonderful hotel. perfect cleanliness. Very friendly staff. Excellent continental breakfast - everything is always fresh. A very positive waiter - every morning he greets everyone with a sunny smile. Fabulous mattress in the room - you get complete relaxation at night. The hotel provides a travel pass for all types of transport for the period of your stay at the hotel. location: 5 minutes to the train station, 7 minutes to the bus station and 10 minutes to the lake and the center of Geneva. Thank you for the service. Next time I will only stay at this hotel. I recommend . I can't write a single comment. everything is just perfect

Central location across la Gare du Cornavin. Near the public transportation, restaurants, currency exchange, and shops. Staff is very professional, attentive and friendly. They are simply exceptional human beings. The hotel is clean, and so are the rooms. There is a mini fridge, safe and coffee machine with complimentary coffee and tea in the room and some of the rooms have small balconies. The rooms are sound proof. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There are also basic toiletries in the bathroom.

The only thing is that the rooms are a bit small so I had to be careful when passing by the bed to not hit my legs, and that I could not adjust the heating very well to make the room warmer. But those are really minor things compared to the benefits of this hotel.
