The staff at Novotel, especially Ms. Luba from reception, was excellent—friendly and helpful. She kindly allowed us a late check-out and assisted us in printing documents for a meeting the next day. The hotel itself is decent and well-located, just a short walk from the main train station and a variety of restaurants in central Geneva. I had heard that the area might be a bit shady, but I personally encountered nothing concerning. Geneva tends to close early, and this central area is one of the few places with some evening activity. Nearby, there is a laundromat and several excellent restaurants, while the local Migros supermarket is just up the road. The hotel's proximity to the train station also provides easy access to buses and trams, making it a convenient choice for travelers.

From the moment we arrived at Novotel Genève Centre, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The experience was smooth, warm, and absolutely memorable — thanks to the incredibly attentive and kind staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. What truly stood out was the thoughtful way they welcomed our children. Upon check-in, the reception team surprised them with small toys and chocolates — a gesture that lit up their faces and made them feel just as valued as any guest. It’s these little touches that make all the difference, and Novotel got it spot on. The team throughout the hotel — from front desk to housekeeping — was consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. They were always available, ready with a smile, and proactive in offering assistance, whether it was local directions, arranging transport, or simply checking in to ensure our comfort. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for a family. The location is also excellent — close enough to the city center and easy to access key attractions, yet calm and relaxed. In short, Novotel Genève Centre turned our stay in Geneva into something more than just a visit — it became a memory our whole family will cherish. Highly recommended for families looking for a place that blends comfort, class, and heartfelt hospitality. We will absolutely be back.

The hotel is hospitable and family friendly. The included breakfast is generous. The room is beautiful and pleasant. Smelled fresh and very clean. We visited with a teenager and the 2 double comfortable beds were a BIG PLUS . We used the gym and the sauna. The property is in a very good location for our vacation purpose. Quite, and in easy reach by walking to main attraction and swimming in the lake.

We wish we could have a way to dry wet clothing and towels since there is no shower bar or surfaces to hang things in the room. A downstairs dryer or just a clothesline for the room would be very helpful

The rooms were nice and comfy. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

The computer in the little business center area was useless. The keyboard was very different then what I am used to and it didn't have certain keys that are normally on every keyboard I have ever used and that I needed to input my email password. The net result was that I had to use my phone to do things that I could have done in 1/3rd the time if the hotels computer was useful. I don't know if that keyboard was normal for europeans or what but if so then having at least one American standard keyboard available for use would go a long way to satisfying the needs of American guests. That was the only element of our stay there that was not good.

The hotel is nice and comfortable, with a particularly good location that made exploring the city very convenient.

I did encounter an issue with the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, there were no options suitable for a child with allergies, and the personnel did not suggest any alternatives from the kitchen. This was disappointing, especially considering the high cost of the breakfast. It would greatly improve the experience if the hotel could offer more inclusive options for guests with dietary restrictions.

Spacious rooms, clean and comfortable. very good breakfast and complementary drinks were provided.

The location was great for being close to train station and walkable to the lake and shopping centers but the only problem is around the hotel seems a little weird and looks like to be a hotspot in the area . A couple of nights, we couldn’t sleep because of men standing in the street and talking loud all night.

Location was perfect close to metro station and close to Flower clock, Jet d'Eau de Genève and St Pierre Cathedral. If you are person who love to shop then Rheu de Rhone street is perfect to find all the big brands. Ensure to visit, Cottage Café very country side cafe servicing really good desert and hospitality of the host is top notch. Its got both inside and outside seating and beautiful Brunswick Monument just stepping out to click some good pics and spend time reading book as well

The location is brilliant as a base to explore the city and the area around it. Staff are really helpful and hotel is clean bright and easy to navigate.

We were on the second floor above the garage and at times it was very noisy with people talking outside, shouting and motor bikes coming and going during the night. The windows did nothing to keep the noise out and we were convinced that they were open at one point but checking them showed that they were closed! People live in the area so you can’t stop the noise but investing in some good windows that reduce outside noise is a must!

Good location near to the main train station. Plenty of food places nearby. Clean rooms.

Rubbish view facing more hotel rooms. 4 coffee sachets for the bedroom- family of four staying- staff refused to give us any more for our three day stay which for the price of the hotel we felt was completely unreasonable.

The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk to the train station, and a 10 minute walk to the lake. Just what we needed for our family of 4. There were quite a few nice little bars and restaurants all around the area. Fresh water every day and coffee in the room.

We were on the 2nd floor and it was a bit noisy on the street at 2am, sounded like people coming out of bars and it woke us all up.
