Staff were very helpful, room was lovely comfortable and nice size, warm and cozy character, location was excellent for us with shops and cafes close, close to the Christmas market and the lake, close to (6 minutes) main bus/train station. We got free transportation card of city from hotel. The value for quality we got was really wonderful. We could leave suitcases before and after check in and out. Overall highly recommended, will stay there again.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The location was very good for us. It's a short, easy walk from the train station. It's not in the historic centre of Geneva, but it's not far to walk and there are plenty of good restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We really liked the decor and layout of the room. Breakfast was excellent and all the people working at the hotel were friendly and helpful. It rained while we were there and the hotel even supplied loaner umbrellas. We would have been happy to stay longer than 2 nights and would definitely stay here again if we return to Geneva.

We really liked our stay at the Kipling hotel. The room and the bathroom are spacious and comfortable and very clean. Very close to the train station and walkable distance to the center and the lake. There are a lot of options around for bars and restaurants. Bonus was the Christmas market being close to us. Breakfast was tasty and had enough options.

The taps at the bathroom and bath were hard to use…the way you open it was confusing cause was opposite way for cold and warm water. Too lose for warm water and too hard for cold! It needs fixing.

From booking to checking out the staff had been so helpful. Offering advice on excursions and the travel pass. The location was just off the main travel route from the train station and just a 10 minute walk to the lakeside. The hotel was very quiet and clean.

The hotel was too warm for us. We had to turn all the heating off and open a window. Our room was very very warm and although in very cold temperatures I can imagine the underfloor heating would be great but we found it too hot for us. The room was quite small but did have everything we needed. Would have liked more sundries including milk and hot chocolate powder.

The staff/supervisor named “Surdine” (if im not mistaken) was exceptional to resolve our concern and upgraded us into another room that is far way better with our original room that has an architectural/system problem. Thank you so much Ma’am and to your management!

1.) Room 102. It has a heating problem. The room is like a sauna because all pipings for heating is highlighted in this room. You don’t want to walk on the toilet area with barefoot because it will burn your feet in less than a minute. This has happened to us. 2.) The female receptionist (Starts with letter L) that checked us in. We complained about the room and after all the checking has been done, confirming our complaints were valid. She just give is this phrase “I’m sorry, its how the room And heating was made and I cannot do anything about it” and left us hanging without any resolution. And that’s the reason why I wrote to booking.com customer service and Ms.Surdine came in to solve it and to apologize in this Receptionist’s behalf.

The room is spacious and clean. The toilet is big and tidy unlike other hotels. I also like that it is located near the train and bus station and also some other city attractions.

The location of Kipling Manotel was great, 5 minutes walk to Cornavin station, 20 minutes walk to the old town. Train from the airport to Cornavin takes only 8 minutes. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, breakfast was very good. Room was very comfortable, and quite big for city centre hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a visit to Geneva.

We took our elderly parents for a short vacation, the staff were excellent with them especially at breakfast time. The reception staff were excellent when we arrived and checking out, the hotel had a room to keep luggage as we were flying in the evening. The rooms were a good size with large bathrooms. The breakfast was really good and lots of variety. The train station is less than 5 minutes away and the nearest tram stop is 1 minute away. The Manoel group of hotels have 6 hotels in the area and offer 15% discount in all their hotels to residents. When staying in the hotel you get free transport on the trams,bus,taxi boats and trains. We fully recommend the Kipling Manoel hotel.

The location was very good. A minute’s walk from the city tram line that serves the Nations area and the Old Town . 6 minutes walk from the railway station. Public transport in Geneva is free for tourists, including the train to the airport. There was a variety of restaurants in the local area. It was a short walk to the lake side and the tourist spots.

The hotel was expensive but this is in line with Geneva prices

everything was great. The room not a big, but is very comfortable! there is a kettle, the bed is very comfortable. The location is convenient, you can even get to the embankment on foot! there are many bars and small shops nearby! The Manor shopping center is 15 minutes walk away! the hotel gives a transport card, which is very convenient! there is parking (paid 30Chf)

It would be nice to have water in the room, room overlooking the street, sometimes it was noisy after 11pm
