The room is nice and clean. Close to railway station.

Breakfast choice is very small. The location is good transport wise, but the district itself js very dirty and does not feel safe. Red light distrcit is almost by the corner of the hotel, a lot of “questionable” people around at night.

The price was great, along with the location and the Junior Suite exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located two blocks away from Lake Geneva and just one block away from a major street with a lot of food and shopping. I was able to walk everywhere during my stay and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was very nice,clean large and all around well done. My room also came with a wrap around walk out terrace. While there are no views here the beautiful room and location along with the cleaniness made up for that.

There was nothing that I disliked during my experience.

The location, decor, friendliness of the staff is wonderful. The parking out back was very convenient as we drove to Switzerland fro Germany. Kipling is a great value for business trips.

Room was a bit cramped. Breakfast lacked variety. The rooms are small and the small tubes of bath gel are not sufficient. I would suggest replacing them with Eco friendly large bottles. The scrambled eggs at breakfast did not seem fresh. The coffee was great but would have preferred more variation on protein offerings.

The front desk staff could not have been more friendly! They gave me good tips for the area. When I read reviews I was a little worried about the area the hotel was in as some described it as sketchy and I am a women and was traveling with my teenaged daughter. I really liked the neighborhood though and felt perfectly safe! The neighborhood actually turned out to be one of the best parts of the stay. I liked that it felt more local and was very diverse - it was like staying in Park Slope vs Manhattan but on a smaller scale as everything was easier to get to. There was a cute tea house close by (La Vouivre) with nice outdoor seating. We had a great Indian lunch at the nearby Curry Club by Chef Urvi. Right next door to the hotel was a cute organic market. We were also close to the water taxi which was a fun way to go downtown for the Choco Pass stops, and buses to the UN, and the train to the airport was very convenient too! It was only a 15 min ride to the airport a nd free with the hotel transit pass. Geneva was in a heat wave, so the air conditioning of the hotel was welcome. We also loved the Kipling decor of the hotel which made it unique and cozy. The room also had a deep bath tub which was nice for soaking in after a day of sightseeing! I also liked the flavored water in the lobby and comfy couches. We would definitely stay there next time we're in Geneva!

Only instant coffee in the room. That's not really coffee!

Perfect for a short stopover, 2 days before returning home, hotel staff friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped. Located short walk from the train station and from the lake. Convenient free train ride to the airport with transport card provided by the hotel. Air conditioning was a welcomed relief as the city was very hot. No noise issues. Lovely hotel. Stored our rental bikes overnight.

Unfortunately, there are no views. The shower was in the bath with and hand held attachment. Pressure medium only. It's not a big issue. it's hard to find anything wrong.

- Nice room, and somehow I lucked out and got one with a balcony. - Location is convenient to the train station and regional buses - Location is also convenient to the waterfront. - Staff were friendly and helpful. - I ate dinner at a great Mexican place near the hotel.

- The Sunday morning crowd looked a little sketchy in the area between the hotel and the water. At other times I was in that area, and it seemed fine. It looked like some of them were wrapping up a night of partying. Not a huge issue. Just be aware.

Staff were very helpful, room was lovely comfortable and nice size, warm and cozy character, location was excellent for us with shops and cafes close, close to the Christmas market and the lake, close to (6 minutes) main bus/train station. We got free transportation card of city from hotel. The value for quality we got was really wonderful. We could leave suitcases before and after check in and out. Overall highly recommended, will stay there again.

Don't think there was anything I did not like, all wonderful.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The location was very good for us. It's a short, easy walk from the train station. It's not in the historic centre of Geneva, but it's not far to walk and there are plenty of good restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We really liked the decor and layout of the room. Breakfast was excellent and all the people working at the hotel were friendly and helpful. It rained while we were there and the hotel even supplied loaner umbrellas. We would have been happy to stay longer than 2 nights and would definitely stay here again if we return to Geneva.

We really liked our stay at the Kipling hotel. The room and the bathroom are spacious and comfortable and very clean. Very close to the train station and walkable distance to the center and the lake. There are a lot of options around for bars and restaurants. Bonus was the Christmas market being close to us. Breakfast was tasty and had enough options.

The taps at the bathroom and bath were hard to use…the way you open it was confusing cause was opposite way for cold and warm water. Too lose for warm water and too hard for cold! It needs fixing.

My parents loved their stay at Kipling. Location is excellent (near the train station and easy access to the airport - the hotel provides a free transit pass !) Hotel was clean and room had everything needed. They were able to check in right away which was very appreciated. The young lady who welcomed them/checked them was very nice but the other female staff who worked later that evening was so cold!! Didn't even bother greeting them!
