Location is excellent. There is no internal connection to a shopping centre but the overpass to the Platinum Mall is just a short walk away. 2 night markets in easy walking distance too. There is a free hotel tuk tuk that has set drop-off points, remember to book a timeslot in advance. Staff are very good, very helpful and knowledgeable, exceedingly polite. Breakfast buffet is outstanding.

I was "upgraded" to a renovated room but of the 3 nights I stayed, I was awoken on the first 2 by incredibly noisy people outside my room. The first lot might have been staff hanging around & chatting & laughing at a linen room. The 2nd lot was a terribly noisy family whose children shouted & called out non-stop. Both instances were at around 11pm or 11.30pm. I notified guest support at once & it was handled but only after about 10-15 mins. Couldn't go back to sleep for ages after that. The 3rd night was fine but only after I complained at reception & wanted assurances I would actually get at least one night of decent sleep.

Perfect location. short walking distance to Central World and other malls. Comfortable and modern rooms, very friendly staff. Great food and beverage outlets. We have stayed here many times over the years and will always choose Amari Bangkok.

Big rooms, nice and clean and very good Location. The breakfast area to big and has a variety of choosing the international food and the have halal food.

We respect the hotel's police about no smoking but request a designated area whit chairs close to the hotel entrance instead of going outside the hotel area

The hotel a lil bit expensive now

Good location, clean and very comfortable room. Staff is friendly, greets you at lobby every morning. Breakfast spread is good but need to top up as it is not included. Thankfully staff are able to arrange the rooms to be closer despite no connecting room.

- Didn't manage to get connecting room despite indicating during booking months in advance. - Small hotel entrance from street, smokers like to gather around there. - Walking up the stairs outside Prego towards hotel. - Water provided taste a little weird, would be good to come 2 glass and 2 plastic.

The location of course. The elevator system is top of the line. It optimises power consumption and time management. Service is personalised to the fullest extent.

Upon arrival we got an upgrade to a suite (perhaps one that is due to be renovated) and it was huge! Really really good. The staff are probably the best staff we experienced in Thailand and that is saying something. We felt so taken care of. Cocktails in the lobby were amazing, the lobby itself is incredible. So classy and calm. It really did feel like a 5-star brand. We felt special staying there.

Obviously its not the cheapest, especially adding breakfast and then food & drink at night can really push the price up. Its in a very busy area of Bangkok, and at the time of writing this there is a lot of construction going on next door and on the main road. Traffic was probably as bad as I have ever seen in Bangkok. Technically nothing to do with the hotel to be fair, I am just mentioning it so you understand. Pool area needs upgrading, definitely not in line with the Amari level of quality.

Good location, surrounded by markets and shopping centres, spacious rooms, great views, nice swimming pool area. Very good and attentive service. Problems resolved and if it was not possible to resolve immediately (the door keys not functions) we got complementary extra services to compensate and to keep us happy. Effort of the staff notable, so 5-star level of service.

The complimentary group sport activities (classes) were at 18:00, which made it difficult. In fact, most of times they were not happening because of the lack of participants. Classes in the morning might have more success.
