Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Room was cool with AC working flawlessly. 30 second walk from the beach and good restaurants, you can't hear the planes inside the room. Close to the highway, you can be in Old San Juan within 10 minutes.

To begin, it's important to set expectations. If you go during March break, expect to hear drunk people at night. You can hear people in the hallway quite well. It was quiet on most nights, but since it was during march break we heard few drunk people walk in the hotel in the middle of the night. It did not take anything away from our stay as we expected it, but it's to be pointed out.

It’s been over 10 yrs and I stayed here before. Hotel was great atmosphere. Staff was awesome - cleaning ladies were great, kitchen was stuff with what was needed and they help with some of the questions. They only thing was the hotel only has one floor. You can hear all the noise outside at 3am, 4am 6am…cars and people. The entrance to beach was nice to be outside but you also can hear the voices. The nice thing is there were ear plugs that can be used. It would be nice if there was a washer/dryer we can use or somewhere local. Had to hand wash clothing. I would stay there again and recommend this place.

The staff was incredibly nice. I’m trying to learn Spanish and they were very helpful as I mangled my phrases. There was a fair amount of street noise which the staff said was from upcoming elections. It was a great value. There are only 12 rooms, so I was able to chat with the staff quite a bit. Next to a nice beach. There is a Puerto Rican restaurant, La Casitas, which was 700 feet away and had great food. I sent some messages to the hotel through Booking.com. They responded promptly.

It is an older place. Nothing was horrible, just older, yet quite clean. The mattresses seemed new and were comfortable It is not a luxurious resort that one may expect when on a destination vacation. If you are looking for an affordable room near the airport and beach while you are exploring the island, then this is the place.

I loved the location, the staff was totally awesome, amazing, polite, friendly, helpful, very attentive welcoming and professional…I wish I could give them all 5 thumbs up, but unfortunately I was only born with 2…The staff should all get a raise, they deserve it…I loved my stay and I will be back…a Thanks a ton !!!!

I Loved it all but the only thing I didn’t like is That I had to leave because my vacation is over and I have to go back to work in Massachusetts…I love Puerto Rico and I love the people here, the natives are kind, welcoming, humble, with beautiful hearts…May God bless them all !! And the staff was totally awesome!!!

The location being close to beach like 2 seconds of a walk and nightlife. 24 hour security and the amazing staff. This is a no bells or whistle property. Clean room. No pool. No in room phone to call to front desk or other rooms. No mini refrigerator in room. But we didn’t need that because we ate before returning. Was not traveling with others and ate and. Experience local authentic restaurants and activities. The common area had water and kitchen appliances like microwave for everyone to use. It has dinning table and comfortable seating. If you are looking at a clean budget friendly place to sleep and want to spend your money more on experiencing San Juan. Then this is a place to stay for that quick 2 night getaway.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We knew what the inn offered and met our expectations. Clean extremely budget friendly place to sleep. With amazing staff.

This place is all about the location. There's a beach access path right there that takes you to a beautiful Isla Verde beach. So close to the airport too. Free parking was important for us because we had a rental car. I love staying in these type of places, a simple quiet single story inn that's clean comfortable and well maintained. Not a lot of amenities but when you're a few steps from Isla Verde Puerto Rico that's all you need. It was very clean and the AC worked great. The bed was comfortable and I slept great. Although the room was pretty basic and not much decor or attention to aesthetics that didn't matter to me because I like to get out and enjoy the city. We walked to Playa Papaya for coffee, breakfast and lunch. And the first night we walked down the street for dinner. I can't remember the name but it was good and open late and I felt safe walking there at night.

I liked everything about staying here.

The staff was beyond amazing and the location was perfect. I will definitely be staying here again. Only flaw is that there is no fridge in the room. You have to share the fridge in the common area. However, people were respectful of what others placed in the fridge. The staff also provided labels so people can put their names on the items placed in the fridge.

This is a very basic hotel. There are a few amenities like a small kitchen area (in the hotel, not the room) but don't expect anything fancy. That said, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and it felt secure. The location is excellent for both access to the beach (good surfing one beach over) and the airport. Old Town is a short cab or Uber away.

Depending on the room and the night, it may be noisy. We changed rooms after the first night -- the first room was quiet, the second one less so. Still fine for the price.

I am a Jet setter; I have a high pro job. I needed to disappear (Legally and Temperly) and then I found this quiet little place amongst GIANTS of International flair. The location is a dream come true, the staff went way and beyond for such a short notice and calming anxious tourists whenever needed. The safety is perfect, and the kitchen and bathrooms are supper clean. GOD BLESS THE BORINQUE INN AND ITS WONER AND ITS STAF AND THIER WHOLE FAMILES.

That I had NOTING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.

The location is very close to the airport so the taxi cost is low. It is a short walk down a path to a beautiful beach. We were greeted by name upon arrival and walked to our rooms. BBI is a small hotel, with only 12 rooms, so we definitely got fantastic attention. If we needed any help with restaurants or transportation, the front desk was always quick with assistance. The rooms do not have kitchenettes but there is a community kitchen that is kept very clean. Our room wasn't huge, but we only needed it for sleeping. If we wanted to gather with our family, we used the lounge area. I would definitely stay again!

The water was crazy hot in the shower. It definitely warrants a sign to avoid serious burns.
