I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Canario Hotel in Condado, San Juan! From the moment I arrived, Eddy at the front desk made me feel so welcome with his warm and friendly attitude. He went above and beyond to ensure myself and my service dog had absolutely everything we needed, making my experience even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Condado. As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The staff truly takes care of you, making sure you feel safe and comfortable at all times. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend The Canario Hotel to any solo traveler visiting San Juan. If you're looking for a place where you’ll feel at home while enjoying the beauty of Puerto Rico, this is it!

We enjoyed our stay. the staff was really kind and helpful when it comes down to the price you pay and the size of the room everything was exceptional. It was simple to get transportation using uber or just walking the restaurants near by are all delicious and the beach is very close to the hotel and they provide you with beach towel and chairs all amd all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Puerto Rico

I didn't like the way the bathroom and shower was in 2 separate rooms nor did I like their was no coffee table inside the room and also no exhaust fan in the toilet. Also the air conditioner was loud

The staff are really nice, and recommended places to continue the trip.. The location of the hotel is perfect!

The night I arrived there was a problem with the electricity in my hallway, there was not so much light on the way to the room.. I was on the last floor, too many stairs for someone traveling with a suitcase and 2 bags.. What bothered me the most was that it was not possible to open the curtain in the room for light, so it was dark - the lighting in the room was not bright enough.. If I had known in advance in retrospect, I would have chosen a brighter place.

I am very careful to share any negative info but I am not serving either ( the owner nor the guest) any justice if I am not sincere about my stay on this review. 1. No Elevator and we were on the 3rd fl. 2. No private parking. 3. No refrigerator in the room. 4. The room is very dark. Dark curtains, dark walls, dark floors and the toplock on the hollow entrance door did not work. I would like to encourage the owners to take a closer look at their facility Definitely only a one timer for me.

I have been to the Canario Inn for at least the past 20 years as a guest. The location is excellent since it has all you need close. Resturants, Bus stop, Pharmacys, Food stores, etc. Best of all the beaches !!!!! My room was big and spacious and so was my bed !!!! The staff is Superb !!!

The location was perfect, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! The bathroom was also really big and clean. The value for the price was far beyond our expectations.

They only cleaned our room once during our stay of 6 days, which is a little long for a beach town. But the rooms were very clean when we arrived and after they cleaned mid-trip!

The price and the 24-hour reception. I know, I know, hotels are supposed to offer the latter, but I'm pointing it out because the hostel I was checking in at San Juan Old Town wasn't open 24/7 so finding an affordable room for my first night in San Juan was such a big deal for me. It wasn't busy when I was there so there was no fuss asking for a late checkout at all. And the highlight was its proximity to Condado Beach. I didn't think of it when I booked a room as I was really only after a place to spend the night so it was such a big bonus.

The room I was in had one window that couldn't be closed and it so happened that it was facing the street and there was some construction nearby. I still had a good sleep since I was tired from the trip and from working remotely for a bit but it would've been hell for people who'd wake up from the slightest sound.
