When I Google mapped it , I did not know what to expect but when I got there it was amazing , felt secure key pad entry the pool patio was amazing had some great conversations there through out my stay. Pool is intimate I love that it's all day access ,Property manager was friendly and amazing answered all of my questions. The beach is literally a 5- minute walk , the supermarket is across the street for your daily needs, many restaurant food options Bebo's was my favorite , Deli store is within walking distance , Mall is across the street. I got the 1 bedroom suite it was nice , bed super comfortable, shower pressure very nice and the AC ohhhh baby was Alaska. I'm From New York and Honestly, You want Luxury for a fraction next and close to everything this is the place to be and they approved my late check I think for 11 or 12 I forgot. Hung out on the patio and had a conversation with the pool goers until it was time for my next Destination. I recommend it to everyone traveling to San Juan thanks again Bear Staff for accommodating me. I'll be back

That I didn't book another day, Outside didn't look like much and I like that but when you get inside it's beautiful No complaints

La Mona Loiza was in walking distance of a large 24/7 grocery store and many great restaurants and bars. We found street parking a block away but could be difficult depending on time of day. Room was spacious with plenty of furniture. Very nice toiletries in the bathroom. We didn't use the pool or outdoor lounge furniture but it looked inviting and well maintained. This apartment was decorated beautifully!

We stayed in apartment 9 and it was VERY loud both nights we stayed, not only from outside traffic but anyone in the hallway/stairwell as well. We could hear every word spoken. Our door shook from nearby doors slamming. We had trouble getting hot water in the shower. Lastly, I never received check in instructions even after I completed the deposit and identification form; I ended up having to reach out right before check in and it took a bit to get a response.

The location was absolutely ideal for our needs—it offered easy access to everything we wanted without being too close to the tourist area. We loved the convenience of nearby local restaurants, a supermarket, and charming businesses. The accommodations were well-equipped with all the essential amenities for an extended stay. The staff exuded professionalism and friendliness, always ready to assist us with whatever we needed. Isabel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly enjoyable.

The steps leading down from the front of our apartment tend to become quite slippery during rainy weather. Unfortunately, it appears to rain almost every morning, even if just for a short while, which makes navigating the steps a bit challenging. We have reached out to the manager about this concern, and while they have made efforts to address the issue, the solution has not yet proven effective. We would appreciate exploring a long-term solution to enhance safety and prevent any potential accidents, as my wife experienced a near miss on one occasion. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This location is perfect for our needs, providing excellent facilities that meet our expectations. We particularly appreciated the inviting common areas, which offered a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. It was wonderful to have cozy spots where we could settle down with a good book and unwind, greatly enhancing our experience. The friendly staff were always willing to assist, which is hard to find in today's hospitality industry unless you visit an upscale hotel.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our feedback regarding our stay. While the bed in our apartment was uncomfortable and lacked support, we did our best to enjoy our time there. We also experienced noticeable noise from the tea room below our balcony on one occasion, which affected our ability to rest. Additionally, the living room needed more lighting, as it was quite dark; adding extra lights could help improve the ambiance. We hope this information is helpful for future improvements.

Very responsive staff, large suite, location is walkable to Ocean Park and Condado and steps away from any of the restaurants and shops on Calle Loiza. Check-in was seamless and the staff was nice enough to hold our luggage in the office after check-out while we continued exploring the city before our flight. Extra towels for the beach was helpful also! All in all, a very cute hotel and a great value.

While the suite is spacious, the bathroom is on the small side and the shower is lukewarm. The only mirror was in the bathroom - it would be nice to have at least one other mirror, especially with multiple people sharing the space and getting ready together. This is a boutique, self-service hotel, so there was no housekeeping, and extra towels would have been nice. That being said, the staff was very receptive and responsive, so if I had requested extra towels they may have been accommodating!

The location is perfect: a few blocks to the beach, a ten minute walk to Condado, a block from a huge supermarket, two doors down from an excellent, reasonably priced restaurant. Fairly quiet considering it’s a city street. We had a power outage and it was barely noticeable because they have two generators. John, evening staff, was wonderful! He went above and beyond.

Hot water in shower was cold one day. They were responsive in fixing it though. My room was small—perfect for one but quite small for two. The bathroom was tiny with a tiny sink.

Excellent location in Santurce, just between the airport and Old San Juan. Although public transport is not great in San Juan, you have two lines that stop at walking distance from the property. You can take the bus to the airport or to Old San Juan. La Mona Loiza in located on Loiza street, where you find many bars and restaurants. There is also a super market in the oposite corner that is supposed to be open 24 hours (we only went there during the day, so can't confirm.) so it is very convenient. I would definitively stay ther again.

I could not locate my apt. when I arrived, so I called the phone number I had on my reservation confirmation. No one answered, so I spent about one hour looking for my room in between the two properties they have until I finally found it. I arrived at around 1am, so it was not very nice. However, the flexible check in is useful. Also, the remote control of the A/C of the dining room did not work, so we could not set the temperature up or turn it off when we went out. 72F was a little too cold for us + it was a shame it stayed on even when it was not needed, as we spend a lot of time outside.

It was a great room, well-lit, perfect for two people. Clean, enough space for luggage and clothes, free coffee and tea:), not too loud, everything was working perfectly. The location is perfect, in the heart of Condado. We will book again if we come back to San Juan.

Two things I would change: first the check-in time is kind of late(4pm), and the AC unit in the room was loud and in front of the window, so when we wanted to sleep and close the curtains there were in the way of the AC making more noise.

The location is wonderful. There is a 24 hour supermarket 2 minute walk. There are several restaurants including Denny's across the road and cafes and restaurants with delicious food. Wonderful bars including a popular speakeasy 50 metres away. Bus stop right out front which takes you to Old Town in 15 minutes and to La Placita in less. A community library across the road. Michael and staff are very helpful and friendly. The room has great wifi and Netflix as one day it poured rain so much. The pool area is lovely. The kitchen is equiped with sufficient utensils. Bathroom has good quality shampoo conditioner and lotion.

If you are in a front room the road noise is excessive at times but I had earplugs which worked fine but don't let that deter you from this place. I wasn't aware there isnt a lift and there are stairs to the room I was in but Michael assisted me with this.

The location was amazing, walking distance to anything that you may need. Great for food and window shopping. It is across the street from a fancy hotel that also has a few food options attached. There is a fully equipped kitchenette and there is a grocery store diagonal across the street if you want to cook. It is on the strip for shopping and restaurants and the beach is about a half mile walk. Bebos restaurant and the Egg Joint both within half a mile served really good food. La Mona Loiza is clean, they supply a tasty coffee and a coffee maker and beach towels as well. The mattress is comfortable and there is a rainshower head in the shower. The only thing that could have been better are brighter lights in the kitchen. There is no parking but we found parking on the street.

I had just come in with breakfast and did not lock the door. Oddly one of the property employees opened the door about a minute after I came in. Very odd.... I am not sure why she even tried the door. The lighting was very dim in the kitchen and there was no designated parking lot.
