The staff is attentive and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious, the AC effective and quiet, beds are comfortable. Your stay comes with access to the nearby Civil Service Club's pool. The breakfast buffet comes with a dedicated cook to make your eggs to order, any way you like.

It's not as close to the airport as you may think. Between Changi Cove and the airport is an Airforce Base that you have to travel around. There's a bit of deferred maintenance - holes in the bathroom ceiling, worn out door handles - nothing major. I wish I'd be told about the pool access on arrival, not by the shuttle driver on the way to the airport.

The bed was very comfortable. Sound isolation appears to be good - we didn't hear a thing at night. The toilet was spacious, with plentiful hot water in the shower. The buffet breakfast was good. The a la carte menu is rather limited but the dishes were very tasty. Taxi to / from the airport is typically under 30 minutes. The tropical garden looks enticing but unfortunately guests are not allowed to wander through it. The room had a kettle, a coffee maker and two complementary coffee capsules.

The lounge area was cold and unappealing. The control for the air conditioning was difficult to use. For example I couldn't see how to select the fan only.

Very helpful staff; good breakfast; pleasant restaurant; 15 minutes by taxi from Changi airport. There's a shuttle bus to & from Changi village and the nearest train station - but there are gaps in the schedule, so it pays to read the timetable & plan accordingly.

Perfect hotel for a 24hr stopover in Singapore The reception staff were so helpful, we arrived at 7:30 in Singapore expecting to have to wait until at least midday to check in ,for only a few dollars more we were able to upgrade to a room that was ready by 9am. Also as breakfast was still being served, we were offered our complimentary breakfast on arrival 😋, as we were checking out early the next morning 5am , our taxi was waiting and a boxed breakfast ready at reception for us . So thoughtful and helpful Staff , thanks Changi Grove staff , you made the last leg of our holiday a pleasurable experience. And the room was so quiet we slept well on a perfect bed.😴😴😊💯

A wonderful welcome and Erna, on the front desk, was super lovely and helpful. We only stayed one night, so very happy with the standard of the room, the comfort of the bed and the shower. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and everything was just fine, no complaints. Organised taxi for us to airport and made sure we knew what to pay as we got really ripped off going from airport to hotel.

I thought we had a fridge in the room, looked like one but didn’t work like one. Water we put in didn’t stay cold, even though it was turned on.

The check in staff Rashdin, I believe his name was, was EXCEPTIONAL, his customer service and professionalism impeccable. I was having a quick stop over before my husband arrived from Manchester early next morning. He organised a note for night staff to book me a Taxi and ensured all was OK for me. The morning staff at 6.30am assisted me with Taxi and sent me on my way with some warm bakery goods for an early breakfast.. This little hidden gem was exceptional value foe money, room was simple yet elegant and comfortable, the bed was so comfortable and the shower ! DIVINE... oh and a scrumptious Mee Goreng dinner for one was just what I needed after a long day of travel. I slept like a baby. Will definitely come.back.

The staff were brilliant. We arrived two hours early as we were so tired from jet lag; they accommodated us straight away, no problems. We were leaving early the next day, and they provided us with a packed lunch breakfast (sandwich, fruit, and yoghurt) as we wouldn't have had breakfast. They ordered a taxi, which arrived in 5 to 10 minutes as they advised, which was great. Everyone was so helpful. The rooms were good, air conditioning a huge benefit. Tea, coffee, water and a fridge provided Food in the restaurant was lovely too. FYI, the taxi cost from the airport was 27 dollars to Changi Cove. From the hotel to the airport at 5 in the morning was around 18 dollars.

Staff are very helpful, easy to get to from the airport, the location is peaceful and quiet. The hotel has a small restaurant, and there's two other very nice restaurants a couple mins walk from the lobby. The free shuttle bus is great, taking you to the local MRT station or to the complimentary swimming pool at the Civil Service club (good sized pool). There's a coffee pod machine in the room. You can grab some real milk from the breakfast if you have an empty water bottle.

I didn't realise there was free water in the drawer until the last day!

Not everybody’s cup of tea but we enjoyed the short stay and will stay there again next month. A short enough taxi ride from the airport and located in the quiet end of the island which we love. This is very much in a “heritage” part of Singapore and far from the cosmopolitan shopping Mecca of Orchard Rd that most tourists associate with the city state. However, you can still get there easily enough in 30 minutes by taxi or via the MRT at Pasir Ris.

The hotel is a bit odd and has been repurposed from an earlier life. It’s not 5 star by any means and don’t expect a luxury stay but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the linen spotless. There are no bellhops to take your luggage and the layout might seem a bit weird but we like this area so we enjoyed it.
