Location is very close to restaurants and small shops and close to the train station. We enjoyed catching the train. One of the staff helped us how to get tickets and catch the train.

Sometimes Wifi is not working. And on our third night new customers occupy some rooms and so noisy banging doors and I could not go to sleep even after midnight, and I had to get out and ask them to stop them making the noise. Sorry I did not call reception. But they stopped anyway.

The hotel was neat and clean. Jess was taking care of cleaning the room . Staff were very polite and helpful with a smile on their face. Food is in a nearby restaurant which is walking distance.

It was a good experience

We booked the hotel when we could not get on a flight fm Singapore to Sydney at Changi Airport. Price was reasonable for a stay of 6-7 hours (overnight). Airport Hotels in Singapore are expensive; Hotel 81 staff were efficient n room met our needs for the purpose of our stay. Also, it’s on a busy street with local restaurants, coffee shops in vicinity even though we didn’t need it but the room was very quiet, possibly because we requested it n got a room not facing the Main Street. Reception staff were responsive and helpful.

Can’t answer as we got what we wanted for the price. (To have a Hotel not far fm Airport (about SGD 12 taxi fare) where we have access to wifi to plan our itinerary for an early flight next morning. Room is small but adequate for 1 night.

The people were very friendly and attentive. The room had everything we needed. It was a little small, but everything worked as it should do and was very clean. I enjoyed our stay.

A little more storage space.

Being a 3-star hotel, hotel was clean, comfortable & safe with basic anemities. Accessibility to food & transport was excellent!

The noise at abt 2 to 3am from other occupants of the hotel ie when they returned to the hotel.

The front desk personnel couldn't tell us where the MTR station was. And it is really close.

I like the way they make the room look simple and neat. The staff who assisted me with my late check in was very nice and professional.

The elevator interior needs to be re polished.

This hotel had a lot of facilities and features that I like to find in a hotel - including good wifi, kettle, safe, AC, tv. It was also very quiet and located in a good location with plenty of eateries nearby and easy to access via the metro.

The bed was a little hard and lumpy, but adequate. The tv had very few channels (only a couple in English).

The room was of a decent size, perhaps a little dated, but very clean nonetheless. A decent shopping mall and massive ethnic market within 10 minutes walking distance. Reception was very helpful and courteous. About 20 minutes to the airport.

It's far from anywhere worth visiting (except the market). Probably best suited for a one night layover from the airport.
