THE SURROUNDINGS AT THE HOTEL

I have been going here on and off for 15 years. Friendly and efficient service when you ask staff for advice or help; relaxed and friendly atmosphere; clean hotel and well-organised experience; quiet street by daytime by Singapore standards, value for money. Interesting street.

Charging $10 extra for a window room is not really good. In the past the window rooms were given free to long-staying guests. Note that supermarket next door is not open 24-hours anymore. It is a long walk to ATM or MRT station.

The location was very good, wirh lots of stores and shops, though I was there during CNY and a lot of these stores were closed. SG is a hot, humid and tropical country - and the aircons here at the hotel are so cold I was always looking forward to coming up my room. Even the lobby was so comfortably cool.

The bathroom space was bad - toilets don’t allow you to sit properly as is it was constrained by the shower glass (i think the problem here was the layout). Also, water was all over the place whenever I shower - repairs must be made so that water from the shower is contained inside the glass partition walls.

The room is bigger than others in the same range of price where I used to stay. Hotel room price is very expensive in Singapore. This hotel is considered middle range. It has simply nice design. (even no windows) It is clean. the bathroom is nice and big enough. staff hospitality. I feel safe in this hotel and this area. I will stay this hotel again my next trip.

I could store my luggage after check-out and wait for the night flight. Anyway there is no toilet for guests at the lobby.

Property was about 15mins from the airport. Pleasantly surprised by the exterior and interior. Friendly staff greeted me on arrival and at check-out. Beey close to restaurants and a supermarket/convenience sore or two.

Not really anything except a very faint smoke smell in the corridoors, but this was most likely due to other guests moving about with the smell on their clothes rather than actual smoking in the hotel rooms as that carries a hefry fine. This didn't have any bearing on my stay.

Good location close to MRT and buses, exceptionally friendly staff and person who was making up our room, Mr.Hoa. Room size was a bit too narrow, but beds and pillows were comfortable. Supermarket open until 22:30 is right next door. Walking distance to the seaside East Cost park.

Window was not opening and you can’t switch off the air conditioner, but we moved the bed a bit aside, so was no problem.

The apartment location was good with public transport nearby. The room was small, but we knew from the photos and comments. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. There is no window, but as we were out all day it was fine!

If you have big luggage, it's maybe not be suitable for you, but we had small luggage, so it was fine for us.

Wonderful location, with many great eateries around (local delights and cafe options) and small independent stores to explore. Room was very comfortable and cozy, although small and had only the bare essentials.

Walls were thin, could hear the running of water when neighbours were showering or using the hairdryer. A number of noisy guests in the corridors throughout the night. Occasional smells of smoke

The air con was cold which is great because I struggle with the humidity outside, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. I needed it purely as a place to sleep at the end of the day so it served my needs very well.

The placement of the toilet in the bathroom could have been better as it faces the shower screen glass and there is barely enough room for you to squeeze your knees in. I managed well enough but my dad has bad knees and is a larger man and it was a real struggle for him.

location was convenient to katong I12 and East Coast. room was clean and bed was comfortable. you don’t need to worries for food, cafe, bar and restaurant was just below the hotel. there are so many choices to choose. overall was good.
