Excellent location, right next to the Farrer Park MRT station. Nice facilities in the foyer area including a pizzeria and bar, co-working spaces and an exercise area.

The cleaning frequency (at least garbage collection) could have been more frequent -- right now they do it every 3 days or so. Also, it may help to indicate that the hot water has to be switched on by the guest (I found it out after some inconvenient trial and error).

Proximity to Farrer Park station and City Mall. Comfy bed with 4 pillows. Layout of room. Local food convenience. Straight run to HarbourFront on mrt. Laundry with wash machines washed and dried clothes perfectly.

Would have liked a fridge in the room. Didn’t like having suitcase on floor in case of insect.

The bed was extremely comfortable! I loved the shared kitchen facilities. I also really enjoyed the fact that City Square is across the street and that Farrer Park MRT was right next door. I also really liked level 4 (up until water leak) for eating and relaxing.

The room had tons of mould on walls and bought bleach to clean it! I also cleaned the air filter in the aircon as the room was stinky. The floor I was on was noisey and impossible to sleep past 630 a.m. or go to sleep before 11pm - Not ideal when you are competing in a sports event! Food choices are not great in the area- but plenty of choices and local cuisines (Chinese, Indian, and Middle Eastern). Because there is no housekeeping daily, it would be great to have cleaning stuff available on the floor, such as a broom, etc. as it is impossible not to not track in stuff.

Overall, the cleanliness was good even though they don't clean daily.

No hot coffee machine at lobby even if you were wiling to pay. The main door to our mini apartment (2 of a kind) needed a very strong push to close it. The banging of the door may disturb neighbouring rooms and was somewhat irritating.

the location is great, next to the mrt station exit G and near the mall where you can find something to eat and buy some souvenirs like chocolates

We arrived there around 2.58 PM which is really close to the check-in time and its turn out that the room is not ready and we have to wait around 45 mins. Very Disappoint! The hotel should not allow someone to do the late check-out if it affect the check-in time

Hot water was available 24*7. Upon arrival, the rooms were assigned to us. The fridge was in the common area and drinking water facility too; but it was convenient and not like the hostel feels as specified in the previous reviews. Rooms are compact. Rooms are cleaned once in three days, this could be done atleast once in two days as we were traveling with the infant and diapers disposal was something that needed attention. AC was in good working condition in the room; filters were cleaned regularly because of which the room felt comfortable. Enough storage is below the bed, compartment and under the table. For travelers, it’s friendly especially if too much luggage is not carried. Facility looked cool. For kids, there’s a small area to play in the ground floor. At 4th floor, one can take a stroll and have meals with family and friends. At ground floor, clothes can be washed dried and ironed. WiFi strength is good. Metro is 300 metres away, at a walkable distance. Overall, 9.5/10

Room cleaning needs to get regular.

- Location was right opposite a big mall called City Square Mall with lots of restaurants and also supermarkets. The hotel is also only 1 crossing away from Farrer Park Station which was very good - We have the 2 of a kind room. It was perfect for my family and my parents. We have a common area of kitchenette but still have plenty of privacy. - The room was big. Surprisingly spacious compared to the other hotel we stayed at in Singapore. Bed and pillow were both good. Air-con was working perfectly. - Water was hot and consistent. - Kitchenette was well equipped. Stove was fast to cook. - Our door was not opening and we asked the staff to check it. They found a technician to fix it right away even though it was 10pm at night. - Very modern lobby - lots of meeting space and places to hang out with friends - There is a gym downstairs.

- The laundry unfortunately takes 8 SGD to wash and 8 SGD to dry which considered to be quite pricey.

Lyf Farrer park is a perfect stay for those who are looking for a budget stay in Singapore as Singapore hotel rates are very high in prominent locations. This hostel type apartments located in close proximity to Little India is good for two people stay maximum as rooms are very small, all necessary amenities are provided in the bathroom, a common kitchen, a sky park in the 4 th floor , Gym, washing and ironing facilities are good to have for long stays. We booked two rooms for 4 people at a price of 1 room in any 3 star hotels in the town. Location is perfect as it’s close to the MRT Farrer Park, lots of Indian veg / non veg restaurants if you love Indian food. Over all we enjoyed our stay at Lyf Farrer Park.

No Breakfast, Housekeeping only once a week.

The hotel is very well equipped with all necessary amenities. It has even a gym, a common large kitchen with shared friges and a very good system to label our own food, and even a large chess board with all the pieces for our own use! The ambiance in the hotel lobby is quite nice, with the addition of a food court serving mostly pizza (and giving a 10% discount, although the pizza is rather expensive...) The location is not central but is next to a metro station (20 meters) and next to the India neighbourhood, with lots of restaurants, some of which are open 24 hours.

The wi-fi didn't work very well. It kept going away every 3-5 minutes and coming back after 30 seconds. So, doing calls was complicated. Fortunately I didn't have to do any work call!

We were a family of 4 and hence took two-of-a-kind studio. Before arrival they had asked to register on one of their sites, and update details there, I think that speeded up the check-in process. They just checked our passports and handed us our key cards. As per the previous reviews, I asked during check-in itself if toiletries were present, so whatever wasn't like slippers, toothbrush and paste, and the shaving kit they provided. The private kitchen had enough vessels, and if anything additional was needed we could get it from the level 4 communal kitchen. Towel change happens after 3 days [but I think its only on certain specific days of the week] and cleaning 1's a week Indian can find few restaurants and grocery store with indian food within 50 m. There is a garden area near the communal kitchen and lots of space to sit and chill or work at level 1. Faced a power fluctuation at one of the rooms in our two-of-a-kind studio 1 night, but the person at reception available "Ali" was really helpful, and offered us another room for the night as the technician to fix was available only the next day.

If you come with the mindset that this is a serviced apartment type of stay, you will enjoy your stay, but if you come with the expectation that it's a 4-star hotel, you might be disappointed. The room can feel small if you have too many bags or luggage. The bathrooms don't have walls, It's instead glass, and no railing for towels inside as the bathroom is small, might be an uncomfortable situation if the person you're sharing your room with doesn't know you at that personal level. There is a laundromat available but seemed pricey at $8 sgd for washer and dryer each. Since we had one night where were in a different room, which was facing the main road side, you can hear the traffic there
