Location is great, bus stop is right in front of the building, it takes around 20 minutes to Marina Bay by bus, and around 30 minutes to the airport by taxi. The staff was very kind and helpful, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. For the price it’s great in Singapore, I’d definitely come back.

They say the beds are 151-180cm wide, but I don’t think that’s correct. It was quite narrow, I’d estimate it to be around 140max. The breakfast was okay, but it was very crowded, some people took a whole plate of eggs or fruits leaving nothing for the rest. Eventually the staff refilled it, but still. Some oversight or controll should be considered, as no one was asking us if we are staying in the hotel, so I’m not sure if everyone was a guest of the hotel.

The hotel was good, room was very clean. Front office staffs were really friendly, had seamless check in and check out experience. Free breakfast service was a plus as it has reasonable buffet spread. Bus stop is located just right in front of the hotel.

The room is a bit small, but still acceptable. Will rate the room higher if not for the slow drainage in the shower room. Requested quiet room, but was given room facing the main road on the 2nd floor. Fortunately the soundproofing was good, so it did not disturbed me much. The location of the hotel is not easily accessible from MRT stations. Even though there are 3 MRT stations nearby, it may take 10-15 mins by walking from MRT stations to the hotel. However, if you use bus/taxi it should be find.

Staff are very friendly and helpful and it was nice to be greeted on returning to the hotel after sightseeing. The location is great, close to lots of restaurants, shops and MRT stations. My room was very comfortable and quiet. I loved that there were both firm and soft pillows (labelled) available as I often struggle with hotel pillows (the soft one was perfect!) The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, especially the Indian vadai snacks and sauce. The air-con was extremely quiet which was great, as noisy air-con seems to be a common issue for me. The room was also quiet overall - no street noise and virtually no noise from the corridor or other rooms. I would happily stay at this hotel again should I return to Singapore.

Location is good. Public transport is very efficient. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. The nearest MRT station is about a 10minute walk. Breakfast is good. They refill quickly. Nice, clean and quiet room with comfy bed and linen. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Auntie Kim and Zheng Yong of the F&B and Vanessa and Jessica of the reception.

The location of Holiday Inn Express, Singapore Serangoon is very good. It's very close to Jalan Besar MRT metro station and the bus stop is right in front of the Hotel. We liked the cleanliness of the rooms. Fresh towels and sheets were provided by the hotel staff daily. The breakfast was also good and healthy. We stayed in this hotel for 6 days and the stay was very comfortable and pleasant.

The room didn't have any wardrobes. So keeping the clothes and other personal things was difficult. The hotel can provide one small wardrobe. It would be very helpful.

Checked in room 0605 from 17th-18th July 2025. The cleanliness is still highly maintained after my previous stay 2 years ago, this is unbelievable! The bed sheets, protectors, pillows case and the quilt were absolutely clean sets after my thorough senses check. The housekeeping team is honest and hardworking - no slackers. Congrats to the Management for having such a strong and responsible Housekeeping Team! Will definitely return for more stays in the future. Thank you!

People were exceptional. Always willing to assist & provide guidance to us Guests. There were a couple of staff that really went out of their way: Faizal & Priya at Reception, Kim at Breakfast, and Kim doing Housekeeping. There individuals are remarkable and exemplary of your Hotel's ambassadorship. It was a pleasure staying there where we felt really home. Staffs are quite cheerful and helpful. Breakfast menu is good for the standard of the hotel, so don't expect to be better than what is served. Centrally located with train and bus services available nearby the hotel.. In fact bus stop is just outside the hotel entrance.

Taxi stop does not have ramp nor there are bell boys to help move luggages. No car port is available, so for weak and old people and parents with children may have difficulties in loading and unloading luggages to vehicles and from lift.

Breakfast it was ok, not a big buffet but it suits our family needs, however, the space was small and filled up easily. Location was very good, not very fancy but convenient. Although the hotel was small, it offer what we needed since we didn't plan on spending much time there. Small rooms but very clean, clean bathrooms and in good conditions. Good service and very friendly staff.
