Stayed at Hamilton Block. I think Tyrwhitt Block seems to be the newer block. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Overall, the room is simple but clean and well kept. Bathroom is food and functional. Hot water available almost immediately and the water pressure is strong. Only small issue was that the door of the bathroom cannot fully closed so water can leak out easily and wet the floors outside. Allowed parking which is also a good feature since I was driving.

I got a window view but really not much of a view as facing towards buildings at close proximity. Downside is that it faces towards the Singapore Casket which can be a little uncomfortable. But in the end, curtains are drawn up mostly. So I think with no windows unit may be ok Can hear people walking along the corridor. Had some kids shouting and screaming along the corridor but lasted around 10mins.

Staff at reception gave us very cold arrival as we asked for some water before check in & they said that they don't have any water. We came directly after flying 10hrs with taxi to hotel for them to send us to 7'11 when clearly they had water lol.

The whole place felt very clean and well looked after. As value for money goes I thought it was a really great hotel and was very satisfied. The pool was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and accommodating and went out of their way at every interaction.

Very clean and spacious. Bathroom was fresh and staff were friendly. 24h reception. Close to MRT station.

We had the standard room and it didn’t have any windows. Not a huge issue for us but something to keep in mind.

The cleanliness of the property starts from the entrance to the room was an absolute stunning. Upon entering the room, it gives off the home vibes with how the layout and lighting setup was very well coordinated.

Apparently the TV does not have a build in applications such as YouTube. So… either need to use PC or screen mirroring.

Overall very good experience. Bed and pillow were comfortable. It was quiet to stay in the room; I didn’t hear any noice through the walls or outside (not sure though if anyone stayed in the room next to us). Toilet was clean. Cleaning staff were great. There was a mini fridge in the room. Wifi worked well. Nice pool area on top of the building. Staff at the reception was friendly.

Lavender station is a bit far if you travel with suitcase. We took a taxi to/from airport because we didn’t want to drag the suitcase outside in the heat to the station.

One of the best hotels I’ve been to period. The staff are super helpful with regard to information a tourist would normally need, gave amenities upon request and the room was cleaned every day. The location was probably one of the stand out features only being 5-10 minutes walk from the nearest station! The lobby and lounge were also a great place to relax when meeting friends, I’ll definitely come back here again!

Having water, coffee and tea in the room. Evening front desk crew were friendly and professional. Crew responded quickly to get us out of the elevator that became out of order between floors. I like the security of having a key to ride the elevator to go our room.

Guest who was noisy in the early hours of the morning. The sign for the hotel was small. We had a little bit of difficulty finding it. A sign on the front of the hotel elevator should tell us that the second floor was the hotel lobby. The hotel should have information on bus and metro schedule and have a brochure regarding sites and tours available in the city. schedule

The hotel is located slightly out of the way but there are bars and eateries close by. The hotel itself is very good , nice seating areas if you want to read or just have a quiet five minutes . The reception was well run and very helpful . We didn't use the swimming pool so I can't comment on that but it seemed to be popular with other guests . There is no bar in the hotel but this is fairly typical of the area. All in all a good stay.
