Our experience was positive. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. One notable example of their excellent service was when they prepared breakfast for us earlier than usual on a day when we had to leave quite early. This gesture was very much appreciated and shows the dedication to customer satisfaction. However, while the stay was nice, there are a few areas where the hotel could make improvements to further enhance its value. Some minor maintenance and attention to detail in certain areas of the room would go a long way in making the experience even better. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service

While the stay was great, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The rooms are in need of renovation, as some details could use a refresh. Also, I noticed that the bed linens didn’t quite match the size of the bed, which affected the overall comfort slightly. That said, for the price paid, the hotel was definitely value for money, offering a comfortable stay with good service. With some updates and attention to these details, it could easily be even better.

. Loved my room. Clean warm. Bathroom very clean The hotel is very close to the University Piazza: the Metro. From there, 10 minutes walking to the Old City.

I ordered a breakfast before I did check in. Serving till 11 is perfect. But, Tomatoes weren't fresh.bread wasn't fresh from the morning. Seems from yesterday. Why isnt .so I paid 45 Lei for this breakfast there weren't ralls fresh from the morning. ..The eggs were cold This breakfast is not worth 5 Lei even. I was very disappointed. Waiting to answers. The room was very warm and cozy, just what we needed after a long and cold day. There are 2 heaters in the room, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. Also, every day there was a cleaning service which was very positive. The staff were very polite, helpful and available to help you with any questions you may have. The location of the hotel is in a good spot, 15-20 minutes away from the old town and ideal if you wish to rent a car as there is plenty of parking nearby.

The only observation, in my opinion, was that there was not much quiet during the night because of the tram that constantly passes outside. It is not a disadvantage for the hotel but it is good to be mentioned

I love everything about this friendly hotel. Thank you so much to the management, especially Micaela, for sorting out an extra night for me. Thank you to the lady who serves breakfast. I like the fact that breakfast is served between 7 and 11 a.m. Word of advice: If you have to use cabs, put the Bolt app on your phone. If you want to eat in, then Glovo is the app you need. Enjoy!!

Nothing not to like.

It was in a nice location and the bed was very nice. It can be a bit noisy at times when the tram is passing or people talking loudly in corridor but otherwise it is fine. The balcony is nice but not a great view. Breakfast is alright, the juices are not really nice though. There is enough savoury options but could be nice to have more varieties of pastries. In general, it was a nice short stay.

Great value for money hotel, with basic but clean amenities. Good location outside the Old Town (15min walking), ideal if you are joining any Transilvania tour leaving from Universitati Plaza

The double-bed in the standard room was pretty small (definitely not a Queen Size bed), as well as the related duvet. However, bed was still comfy and good to sleep.

We stayed just one night at Hotel Duke Ameneasca, but it was a perfect choice. The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean, ideal for a short stay. The 24-hour reception was a big plus, as it made check-in and any last-minute needs super easy. The location was also fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend for anyone looking for convenience and comfort in the area!
