The Bucur is an excellent guest house in a central location about 10 minutes walk into old town. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds and the shower works well. Those on the front have balconies which open up onto the street view and are great for taking air or enjoying the sun in season. The breakfast is tasty if a little cramped for space with a reasonable amount of choices. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the Bucur represents good value for money for the standard of accommodation.

There are around 6 floors to the hotel served by a single small lift and at busy times this be a pain getting up and down with large cases…there are also some steps to negotiate for those with impaired mobility.

This is a great choice in the center of Bucharest - very close to the historic old town, but still on a quiet street without night clubs and noisy restaurants next to the door. Everything is within walking distance. The staff was absolutely polite, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, the bathroom was large and clean, comfortable and large shower. Good breakfast, open from 7am, but we were served even earlier on a day when we needed to leave early. Without a doubt - a great option for staying in Bucharest.

Excellent value for money. A great location away from the noise yet easy for walking to Old Town or taking an Uber right out of the front door. Top notch AC which is critical when it is 38C outside. Professional reception. A good buffet breakfast without having to wait for your turn.

I would have given 10/10 if it had not been for the last breakfast. Only giving 8/10 because of this kind of poor staff behaviour. A middle-aged lady with a long braid was in charge of the breakfast, but was deep into her phone while both coffee machines were out of order. I notified her and she said nothing and appeared annoyed by the distraction. She had not cleared the tray, filled the beans or water, and one needed cleaning. Her solution was to yell at people that only one was functioning (once she finally cleared it). She also kept on coming up to your plate with a stern "Have you finished ALREADY?!" and then regardless.took the plate away requiring you to fetch another. Management: please train your personnel on basic attitude abd behavior.

I stayed in the room with the terrace, and it was exceptional! I loved this room with so much space. The staff was always nice and attentive. There were different types of bread at breakfast, English breakfast, and some traditional food. I really recommend this hotel, and in particular, room 72! :+) Just a remark: If you need an invoice, you should ask for it

The location of the hotel is great, close to the Metro station, supermarkets, restaurants etc. and it's also within walking distance from the Old center, which was perfect for us. Our room was very spacious, with all the necessary amenities, , modern TV with all the different streaming services we could connect to and the wifi speed and connection was great (which we needed as we were working during our stay). The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the check-in experience quite pleasant, and the breakfast was a good way to start the day (plenty of nice options, always stocked up). Overall the experience was great and we will definitely return next time we are in Bucharest!

My name is Magdalena and I came from abroad with lots of important things to do in Bucharest. Thus, I needed an affordable accommodation in the center of Bucharest. I had been here before in the past 3 years, and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere that lets you work while you travel. Rooms are very spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, the receptionist is very affable. I will come back here again and again, my only regret is that I have too many places to travel and not enough time to spend here where I feel like home!

- Central but quiet location - Helpful and friendly staff - Very clean - Good breakfast and the breakfast space with nice relaxing music and big screen presenting amazing views of nature - I have never seen it in any hotel before and I loved it!! All these combined gives you a nice and smooth start of the day.

The hotel has a kind of "U" shape and there is not a very big distance between your windows and the windows of the room in front of you. During the day it may not disturb that much but once it gets darker and you turn on the light, you need to cover the curtains fully, to have your privacy. Also along the wall with my windows there was a balcony (for the staff?). I haven't seen anyone there during the one evening that I spend there but again- it kind of gave me a sensation of lack of privacy.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were not only spacious but also exceptionally clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options to start the day right. What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay!

While the hotel itself does not have a bar, just across the street there is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and Stella Artois on tap!!!

Bucur Accommodation facilities, staff and service were beyond our expectation. We transferred to Bucur from a nearby 4 star hotel for our trip extension. At booking, I was granted my request to store our luggage for a few days as we are travelling outside Romania and returning to the hotel. When we got there, the staff Maria was very helpful with the many luggages we need to store and there were 2 other hotel staff who lifted our luggages to the storage, which service we did not get in the other hotel. While the entrance to the hotel was rather small, we were surprised with the size of our room which is far bigger than the one we got at the other hotel for a higher price. When we returned, our room was even bigger. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and both rooms were already with breakfast which had good options. A grocery is nearby and many restaurants and places are just within walking distance. We also got assistance for a van to bring as to the airport. We got exceedingly good value for what we paid for. Many thanks to Maria for being so accommodating and helpful in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bucharest.
