The Bucur is an excellent guest house in a central location about 10 minutes walk into old town. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds and the shower works well. Those on the front have balconies which open up onto the street view and are great for taking air or enjoying the sun in season. The breakfast is tasty if a little cramped for space with a reasonable amount of choices. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the Bucur represents good value for money for the standard of accommodation.

There are around 6 floors to the hotel served by a single small lift and at busy times this be a pain getting up and down with large cases…there are also some steps to negotiate for those with impaired mobility.

This is a great choice in the center of Bucharest - very close to the historic old town, but still on a quiet street without night clubs and noisy restaurants next to the door. Everything is within walking distance. The staff was absolutely polite, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, the bathroom was large and clean, comfortable and large shower. Good breakfast, open from 7am, but we were served even earlier on a day when we needed to leave early. Without a doubt - a great option for staying in Bucharest.

I stayed in the room with the terrace, and it was exceptional! I loved this room with so much space. The staff was always nice and attentive. There were different types of bread at breakfast, English breakfast, and some traditional food. I really recommend this hotel, and in particular, room 72! :+) Just a remark: If you need an invoice, you should ask for it

The location of the hotel is great, close to the Metro station, supermarkets, restaurants etc. and it's also within walking distance from the Old center, which was perfect for us. Our room was very spacious, with all the necessary amenities, , modern TV with all the different streaming services we could connect to and the wifi speed and connection was great (which we needed as we were working during our stay). The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the check-in experience quite pleasant, and the breakfast was a good way to start the day (plenty of nice options, always stocked up). Overall the experience was great and we will definitely return next time we are in Bucharest!

1. Location is walking distance to the old town & state buildings. 2. Our room (and bathroom) was very clean with all the amenities included, such as a kettle, a bottle of water, coffee etc. Although the weather was extremely hot during our stay, the room was cool enough and we didn't feel the necessity to turn the AC on. 3. The breakfast was also pretty satisfactory with various delicious options. They provided a baby chair and some crayons for our baby. I would definitely recommend it.

1. The lift is the narrowest I've ever seen! We had to fold our baby's stroller to be able to fit it in. And, you have to climb some stairs to reach the lift. It is a downside for families with babies. 2. No free parking lot but it was not a problem at all to find a parking lot just across the street which costs 5 Lei per hour or 30 Lei per 24 hours.

Well, the best part for us was Lorena at the reception, she was the most helpful of all and with her smile always answered our questions by giving us tips & directions! Also, the location of the hotel was perfect! Very nice breakfast lounge with nice breakfast also! We asked for a room with street view and this is what we got. We arrived very late in the evening, but the staff gave us so much detailed directions on how to get in with codes etc so it was no problem! Also, there was a bottle of water when we arrived, and it was restocked the day after, this was also very nice.

To be honest the room & bathroom was only cleaned the day after we arrived. Because of the carpet on the ground, you could see that it hasn't been vacuumed the days we were there. Allthough the garbage bins were emptied and we had clean towels, everything else regarding the cleaning was neglected.

The room was very big and clean,the bed comfortable. The location is perfect and close to the main touristic sights. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend.
