This is the best place for a full immersion into the Bucharest of Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau, the "Little Paris", which by the way is by no means little. This hotel is like a time travel back to the times of fin de siecle. The rooms are spatious and beautiful. And you live right in the centre of the vibrant Lipscani cartier. The personal is very friendly and cultivated. Whoever wants to discover this wonderful metropolis of the 19th century, now coming back to life, this is the place to stay. Here you will feel the city`s old soul and charm. A true delight.

NF Palace is a good location. It is an older building. I saw several bad reviews about NF but I must say they were all incorrect. The room is big and very warm. So warm in fact that we had to shut off one of the radiators in the room! The shower was excellent with an abundance of hot water . Wifi connection was excellent. At a cost of 100 EUR per night, for 3 nights (including our pet dog) in central BUC, over New Years, it was a good deal. I want to thank Alen Sirotercu and 'Irene' for the outstanding service we received at the NF Palace. Upon arrival Alen brought us a water bowl for our dog and was extremely helpful for the 3 days we stayed at the NF Palace. The service Team at NF Palace is one of the best I have seen in central Bucharest!

NF Palace states that they have balconies but in fact they are 'French Balconies" so you can not sit outside and have a cigarette. This was the only disappointing experience I had at NF Palace. But the great service made up for it!

Central location for an amazing rate, my room had a view of the beautiful building of the Romanian National Bank, super friendly staff. The room was just charming, I felt transported back in time, which was just what I was looking for. Many nearby restaurants, cafes, shops (even non-stop mini markets) and tourist spots

Not a deal-breaker for me as I can sleep like a log: it can get noisy in the morning because of the traffic and you can hear the floorboards creaking is anyone is moving around in neighbouring rooms. So if you are a light sleeper, keep in mind it's an old building and bring ear plugs.

Location could not be better, this hotel is all about location which is perfect. Absolutely Centre of the old town, and although no restaurant of it’s own there are so many many bars and restaurants close by that you want to go out and explore. 24/7 shop on the corner to the right. The building is in the heart of the old town and this is a very old building, it smells old, has old furniture and entrance is tired but to be expected in a building like this. It actually added to our experience. The reception is on first floor, Romeo was the person to greet us he was super helpful and very nice. The bedroom was huge, it had old furniture but everything was immaculately clean with modern new bathroom. Bed was big and very comfortable. Tv and A/C

Everything was good for us just staying a couple of days

Incredible location: quiet street with access to the old town with loads of good eating places. The building itself is incredibly old and the interior makes you feel like a member of royalty. The rooms are spacious, we got a room with a small French balcony and access to the main street, it was a bit noisy but if you close the window you can't hear anything, I had a late flight ahead of me so had to sleep in the afternoon, closing the window there was no noise to disturb.

The buildings are old and the rooms a bit stuffy, there wasn't enough air to ventilate from our mini balcony. The chandelier in the bathroom is very nice but not very comfortable. Why not? Because the small glass panes made it look like all the towels were dirty. Would really like the TV to have a function to watch youtube or find a film on the internet. We don't know Romanian, but in the evening when we come from a walk we want to watch something, so this function would be very useful.

The Staff was amazing. Many thanks to Romeo for helping out with so many things and ensuring that I have a comfortable stay. I loved the decor and the room was huge.

It is true that one can find the live music from the bar downstairs loud. Though I did make the most of it and actually went down to enjoy the atmosphere accompanied by a drink. I believe the bar shuts down at midnight. Do bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me.

Great pictures, poor reality From the picture you guess that the hotel has a great front entrance. We'll, that's a bar, you enter to the hotel by side entrance and then to first floor. It has max 1* The bed, bathroom are clean and comfortable, but the room smells old and mold, the fasáde has barriers so the pieces don't fall apart.

We really liked the location. The staff were very understanding. We didn't have any problems at all. Friendly staff helped us a lot. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We had a great time as a family. When you enter the hotel, you may feel that you have moved to a different time zone. It makes you feel special. It will definitely be my first choice when I come back to Bucharest with my family.

Well located in Old Town, Bucharest. Easy to get to party central but located slightly away from the busiest bit. Located on the first floor of a building the lobby is a bit smelly but the staff on reception were friendly. Room was massive and comfortable for the three of us. We stayed on a Saturday night and you do hear live music until about 1am from the restaurant down the street but we just enjoyed the vibe.

Well looked after old style building and great facilities. Comfy bed, good shower/cleaning facilities. A lot of the restaurants/pubs situated within a 5 minute walk. We chose to walk everywhere around the city which we found easy to get around. Staff were friendly and assisted with any enquiries we had. Easy access for being dropped off by Uber etc, just make sure you read Google maps finding the entrance. It is well marked but as a first time visitor it is easily missed.

I can't really say any negatives. If I was to it would be the noise some nights from the road/bars. This is to be expected given the easy access and location around the city. However, with it being warm the air conditioning unit drowned some sound out.
