Breakfast selection was AWESOME! Fresh and delicious. The staff was very attentive. Room had all the amenities, and a fully functional kitchen. Business center a plus. Could use room phone for international calls - great perk. Business ethics - excellent, as I have not found anywhere in my travels! Many thanks. Looking forward to stay here again. Location close to everything Downtown - walking distance.

Nothing not to like. Weather was nice, can exchange currency at a good rate in the hotel, and they even picked me up from the airport for a fee! Excellent room service. Everybody spoke English.

The staff was very helpful and organised the transfer from and to the airport. They also explained how we could turn the temperature in our room down as we felt very hot inside. Regarding food, the hotel restaurant "Etaj" is exceptional. It was one of our best dinners in Bucharest. There's also a great variety for breakfast. The location is also great. You have many options to eat out or just have a coffee in the neighbourhood. It is well-connected, too. In just a short walk, you can reach the university square, from where buses depart.

We have a very high standard regarding cleanliness, so this is 'complaining' about details. Overall, the room was very clean. However, for our standards, the cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved. The first two days, the bathroom was a bit dusty on the floor. Also, the stains due to scale in the shower, even though they're normal, are not very pleasant to look at.

Very big room. It was actually an appartment, it had its own kitchen even (although we booked a normal room, this is the standard room there it seems). Breakfast at Cismigiu Bistro, a well known resto in Bucharest. Very chique, wonderful romantic design, good music. Good cheesecake (they always have a cake home made for dessert, on our tour it was cheesecake). Great location at the heart of Bucharest, in an area full of objectives, history, restos, pubs, bars, cafes, theaters, old city center, the iconic parc Cismigiu, the hotel itself is part of the city’s history.

Beds are on springs. A bit too soft for our taste. Breakfast was poor in choice, good quality products but not much variety (omlette, 3types of cheese, some charcuterie, the cheesecake, pain au chocolat… the basics). It gives the impression of an aparthotel, not a hotel due to the lack of other facilities inside the hote.

Check in was smooth and quick. The apartment was quiet and well equipped (apart from a kettle), with plenty of storage space and a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was roomy, with an excellent shower. The location was great, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It was also a very short walk to Cismigiu Park, which was nice for a stroll. Breakfast was self service in the upstairs restaurant. There was a good variety of different food items and the staff kept the whole breakfast area very clean and tidy.

We opened the windows and there were mosquitos in our room. Probably from the lake in the nearby park. This is not something the hotel can help but, if you are staying at this time of year, we recommend you keep the windows closed.

Very central location, hotel felt safe and the room was very spacious and clean. Large bathroom and excellent rain shower.

Didn't seem to be a kettle from what I could see only a coffee machine. I would have preferred a kettle over a stove and pots and pans. Overall room was lovely but the noise on a night is quite bad. Windows, though double glazed were not sound proof, lots of shouting and screaming in the early hours (perhaps from the park) thought maybe a one off but happened on both nights along with sirens(our stay was a fri and sat so during the week might be better)

Huge rooms - plenty of room. The room was more of a one bedroom apartment. Lots of space to relax at the end of the day. The breakfast was typical European breakfast. The attached restaurant was nice and had plenty to offer. There was 2 parts of the restaurant. A door joined the reception area to the restaurant. Walking distance to old town with lots of restaurants and bars close by. Great place to stay!!!!

Staff at breakfast was short and quick to clean up before we were done. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

I came back to this hotel after a first stay. The suite was very spatious and comfortable. The hotel is in the city center close to restaurants and an enjoyable park when there is sun. The hotel staff both at the reception and in the restaurant is very professional. The access to the lift is controlled by card.

My room was on a low level floor with view on the street which turned out to be very noisy by night due to the car traffic. Another main issue was that, at several times, it was difficult to get hot water in the shower. I also regretted that, at some moment, the hotel restaurant located on the top floor was closed.

Location was excellent - very central. Hotel was very clean everywhere and most of the staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was extremely poor. Setting was very pretty and very clean though. A fairly limited choice of hot food/pastries which was not a huge problem but staff were quite curt/abrupt and when the basics (eggs or pastries) ran out - they said there would be no more as “there is only 30 minutes of breakfast left!!) so basically if unable to avoid being near the end of breakfast slot you are left with a very limited choice with no basics. Coffee machine very poor as well. This service let’s the whole hotel down as all other aspects are excellent.

The best night rest I have had in years, slept till 9 am after a full day of work and going to bed at 12:30. This is in part thanks to the kindness and respect of the cleaning staff, the Sound Proofing System of this great historical building, as well as the dark and opaque navy blue curtains (they work better than my blinds at home in the US). I will definitely be back in the years to come, if I can. Excellent staff, great cleaning, great breakfast, kind receptionists! Great location for the tourist and executive alike. The hotel rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures. No games here. And loved the espresso machine.

Another great stay in the best valued hotel in Bucharest! Great included breakfast, extremely attentive staff, awesome cleaning personnel, clean rooms, large 1 bedroom/1 living room suites. Exactly as shown in the picture. Counting my recorded bookings here, this may be my 11th year at this property (albeit each year I had a rather short stay). The only year I was unable to travel was 2020 in spite of having work to accomplish here; that was due to the pandemic restriction on US-to-Europe flights. I recommend it to all. BTW, if you need Air Conditioning by international or US standards, this is the place to stay, as most hotels in Europe, even some highly rated ones, do not offer good AC. Much better AC than in all France, Italy, Spain, Greece etc.
