The Novotel is perfectly situated within Old Town and very easy to access from the airport and Bucharest North train station. The property itself is large with a modern lobby and an all day bar/restaurant. The room was very comfortable and of a good size. A pull-out couch was set up for our daughter, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel provided a very comfortable, convenient stay and a great jumping off point for our explorations of Bucharest.

The hotel has a small pool in their wellness center. One has to walk through the gym to access it and at the time that my daughter and I went, around 8 PM, there were no towels left and no one replenishing. The pool remains open until 10 PM, so this was unfortunate. We ended up locating one towel that we were able to share between the two of us. I would also note that the pool was surprisingly cool. There is a note to this end in the guest rooms [that the hotel pool is kept at a lower degree for eco reasons] but I found it to be just a touch below enjoyable, especially as it is not a lap pool and not designed for exercise, per se.

I loved how central it is and how easy it is to get to all the major points of interest by walking.

I disliked it when my 7 year old found a pair of used underwear under his bed, next to a dead cockroach. I also found it terrible when the concierge’s reaction was just a blank stare, without even an apology. Housekeeping kept knocking on the door and entering the room on a daily basis just to “check the minibar” and that was also very annoying. Only 1 pair of slippers for 3 occupants. Novotel isn’t what it used to be. Its location was the only highlight of our stay there.

Location was excellent and it offers a closed parking space (with extra charge). Breakfast was great and the rooms were properly equipped and furnished. Linen and towels were spotless and the room overall gave a nice cozy feeling.

The room was a bit cramped and the sofa bed was in poor shape. The room and bathroom could use some more amenities but most of all the ventilator did not work properly in neither the WC nor the bathroom. As the window didn't open, the room didn't get fresh air and filled up quickly of steamy hot air.

The location couldn't be better for our stay. Large and comfortable room with modern design The hotel was spotless, the room was cleaned daily A big thank you to the staff, they were professional, polite and helpful, they provided an extra blanket to cover the springs of the sofa bed and helped us with a late check out when our flight was delayed. The wine bar downstairs with nice atmosphere. The room was sound proof and was extremely quiet.

A lot of people complained about the separate toilet and shower but I already encountered this in other 4* hotels of Barcelona, London or Athens so was not so blown out by it.

I give everyone a high five EXFEPT one lady at the breakfast restaurant. She practically YELLED and SCOLDED me for getting a cup of coffee at 630 in the morning . I realize that it is before the opening time but all I need is a cup of coffee and we had an early tour that morning . There were other early customers getting coffee but she targeted me. I felt awfully disrespected by this person and I believe her name is Cristina! Everybody else was excellent. I think she needed a class is customer service.

We were accommodated 3 adults and a child in the room, the room is ok size and size, with a double bed and an extendable sofa. The only problem is the size of the dresser, it is super small, it barely fits 3 hanging clothes, the whole dresser is about 30 cm wide. The bathroom is strange, the toilet is in a 1 square meter closet, without a sink in the space, in order to wash my hands I have to leave the toilet and go to the space where the bath tub and the shower cabin are. During the day, the air conditioning does not really cope in the room if the outside temperature exceeds 33 degrees

It is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of the city within walking distance to the old city surrounded by nice shops and good restaurants. Loved the Rituals products in the bathroom. The staff were amazing, the rooms clean and very comfortable. Perhaps the most amazing thing is how quiet it is. You cannot hear any other guest and the hotel was full. They have a great soundproofing system. We are returning guests and we will be coming back soon.

Amazing location. Beautiful hotel. Lobby and reception area very classy. Superb decor throughout. Very fast reliable free Wi-Fi. Very clean. Fantastic shower. Comfortable beds. Lifts come quickly. Great swimming pool and steam room, open late (till 10pm). Thai massage available at short notice also till late. Excellent breakfast spread. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Made us a superb breakfast box for an early day trip to Dracula’s castle.

Central location on the most beautiful avenue of Bucharest, Calea Victoriei. Beautiful bright modern rooms, nicely decorated. I loved the intro clip from the tv menu about beautiful Romania, so heart touching. A plus that they have also special rooms pet friendly, my cat enjoyed so much sitting in the window and tanning all day. :) I have spent Christmas vacation with my parents for a week and our stay was perfect. The staff is very kind and helpful. The boys from reception and Andra if I remember well her name, Andreea from breakfast and her colleague, all the maids were so nice, same as the lady responsible for refills of mini bar. They all became like a mini family for us as well. This hotel has general feeling of good energy and coziness. Amazing breakfast, been to a lot of places, this one is exceptional. Congrats to all the team, you are doing a great work, especially when overwhelmed with so many guests during festive season. Looking forward seeing you again.

Everything was lovely, no complains. I wished that windows were opening a few cm only. :) I know they are made this way for safety reasons, a characteristic to many chain hotels. Air-con works well though, no issues.
