Excellent location and a great boutique experience offered by the architectural design of this building.

No overnight heating in my room and the bed was not very comfortable.

Our plane was late- but that was no problem. Angela who was on duty that night was really welcoming and immediately recommended a great place for us to go an eat before it closed - not bad for 11pm. The location is great. Lots of cool bars and restaurants near by, and the following morning we could easy stroll to Revolution Square - the old town to the east of it (tourists) and the more "downtown" part to the West- where the locals hang out. There seems to be a large variety of food for breakfast and it is served in the vaulted downstairs covered area which is charming. The hotel room we were in was stunning. Large, original old decor but tastefully presented. If we were to come back - we would just book here again and not bother ourselves with another search - we thought good value for money.

Well this is booking .com so you have to write some thing in this box for the little line at the bottom to grow longer and turn from red to green. --which it has just done. So nothing to complain about the hotel. All good. Staff in particular were excellent. Actually - for the traveller who arrives by plane - DO NOT take one of the yellow cabs. Book an uber. 1/5th of the cost. The hotel does do a pick up and drop off service, but uber was 50lei . Yellow cab 250. The guy on concierge during the day did say really easy to get to by public transport too.

Love the old-timey, regal decor. The room, Opera, was massive. Loved the bathroom, nice tub with jets. The room was quiet with enough windows and a balcony. The location is quite central. You're in the old town within 10-15 minutes by metro or even less by car. Would definitely stay again. Didn't try the breakfast because I didn't wake up early enough. The staff is amazing, very helpful! Asked for a late checkout with no hassles.

Just the bidet- it won't flush. The arm thingie that pulls the plug wouldn't work. No issue for me, but they only have stairs to take your luggage upstairs. Could result in accessibility issues.

Last night of our holiday so we treated ourselves to the suite, which was huuuuuuge and very beautifully decorated, it felt like a special place to stay. We paid quite a lot to park onsite and are glad we did, as finding a space on the streets nearby would have been a nightmare. The public areas are gorgeous and the lady on reception was so funny and friendly. Excellent English. Breakfast was good and there are lots of interesting bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very quiet, considering it's location.

It was very hot when we were there and because the suite is on the top floor with quite low ceilings, it was very hot - 3 x aircon units but inadequate for the size of the room. Might be a better option in the winter?

The property is exceptional. An old Romanian Revival style mansion converted into a hotel, beautiful details and furnishings. We loved our room and the lobby area. Location is perfect, super central and close to many attractions, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great, super big variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

There is a slight smell in some of the rooms - seemed like a pipe issue. Otherwise everything was perfect and in any case it was not very strong, so we would gladly stay again.

This is one of the best hotels I've been to!!! I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE! It's a very beautiful setting, as if it were 150 years ago in the past. Take breakfast too! It's not about the quality of the food! You're diving right into the end of the 18th century! It's not a hotel, it's a museum! It's a wonderful place! Yes, I understand that the furniture is not an antique, but a replica, but for such money you seem to have decided to spend the night in the Louvre! It's unforgettable!

Staff and amenities were amazing. The look and feel of the house takes you back to the old Romanian mansion type. For me as someone from the country it felt that way. For anyone wanting to feel in this way I would highly recommend the place. And get the biggest room they have for extra impact :)

Fridge in the room had some issue but I am sure that the staff already replaced or repaired it the next day. I only stayed 1 night otherwise it would have been done while I was there.

The gate to the property is closed. To open it, one needs to press a call button or call the reception over the phone. Most of the time this works fine, and the gate opens within a few seconds after pressing the button. But during later evening hours, we had to wait several minutes while constantly pressing the button and calling the reception, getting a message that it cannot be reached... This happened more than once. We discussed it with the staff, who seemed to be unaware of the issue and certain that there are no delays in opening the gate. It would be so much simpler to add an opening switch actuated by the room key - then we would not depend on someone noticing that an open-gate request has been made.

First of all it is important that you know, we are a couple (without children) the hotel is amazing in its beauty! I have never experienced such an exciting experience and I travel the world a lot! First of all the service, our plane was late and we arrived at 1 am and the girl welcomed us with a smile and joy in the middle of the night. Even in the morning her replacement was charming, told about the hotel that was established in the building almost 100 years ago, about the building, its special features and the design. Helped us arrange the trip to Sinaia perfectly. We will continue to the beauty that can be seen in every corner of the hotel and the crazy room we were in. A huge bed, an old desk, huge curtains and a warm atmosphere in wonderful colors of love. The breakfast is delicious, varied and they really care that you will be satisfied and it will be delicious and you can't miss it: so many choices it's simply delicious. We had so much fun. Highly recommend!!!

The matres was soft

The hotel was really nice and well located. I really enjoyed my room. It was spacious and well decorated. Bed was comfy and large. Staff is helpful and professional. I would go back to this hotel with no hesitation.

The toilets smelled. Not all the time and if you shut the lid it is enough to contain the odour but it is not an issue I am expecting when I am staying at a hotel.
