From the moment I arrived nothing was too much trouble, I had my bags carried to my room and was told about the history of the hotel. Each time I left or entered the hotel entrance the door was opened for me and I was told to have a pleasant day. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, buffet style with an enormous amount of choice. Perfect cocktails in the bar and the option to eat in the on site restaurant if required. When leaving for the airport to go home a taxi was arranged for me with no fuss which arrived within minutes, I was walked to the taxi and my luggage placed in the vehicle.

Beautiful hotel, with an interesting history, recently modernised to a high standard. Quirky decor with antiques and eclectic finds all over the hotel. Clean and well cared for, excellent housekeeping service. Room was lovely, super comfortable and stylish, quieter rooms at the back of the hotel. Helpful staff. Some lovely restaurants and cafes in walking distance.

Breakfast buffet was awful, very difficult to find anything healthy to eat. Such a shame when this is such a great hotel! No fresh fruit apart from whole apples, one plain yoghurt but nothing to put on or in it. White toast and sugary pastries, only jam or nutella to put on toast. Orange juice in dispenser poured in from a bottle and cheap and processed. Dusty looking cereal in a dispenser. Cooked items similarly poor and not well prepared. I could go on. A few simple improvements would go a long way!

I liked the architecture of the building, and the restaurant is very nice. I liked the piano and the library as well. The lift looks amazing! There is so much art exposed on the walls which changed my mood.

Location is walking distance to the town. Lovely room and staff were friendly and helpful.

The apartment was spacious, very well decorated, and squeaky clean. The bed was a king-size one and very comfortable. I had to work a bit and use the wifi on several devices, I had no connectivity issues. The location is just perfect. Only a 5-minute walk from the underground parking lot below Piața Universității. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Short walk from the Old town. Overall, we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay a lot. We will definitely come back.

Craved a late night snack, but the mini bar was empty.

Loved their decor, food and their staff is top notch. The hotel was clean and had good WiFi. It was also in a great location as you have so many landmarks and good restaurants within a short walk. We had an issue and couldn’t arrive on time so their staff was super responsive when we were adjusting dates. They also upgraded us to a better room simply because they could. Receptionists were very polite and helpful. Their decor is quite unique and has a 20s vibe, feels very cosy. Well worth visiting, quite a unique experience, we will definitely be back! :)

This isn’t an actual dislike but more of a minor inconvenience - they don’t have their own parking. We were able to park within 2-3 minutes walk and it was quite cheap (to my surprise! :)) so definitely not a deal breaker.

Beautiful interior, great location, very friendly staff, comfortable beds, toiletries and complimentary bottled water in the room. The hotel is in a very nice, green area with lots of cafes and bars nearby, and the hotel bar is also a pleasant place to end your day. The hotel is at a 20-minute walk from the Old Town and was also easy to reach from the aiport. The breakfast had both sweet and savory options and good coffee.

I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests, making me feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Valentin at the reception, he was outstanding: friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The rest of the team was just as impressive, offering warm and attentive service throughout my stay. The breakfast was tasty, with a nice variety of options, and the coffee was especially good, definitely a great way to start the day. I'm already booked to return in two weeks and plan to keep coming back in the future. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a personal touch.

Our room (Executive Suite) was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We had a big round bath, a small dressing area, hairdryer, hot water, good bathroom products as well as bathrobes, slippers and charging points by the bed. The hotel and reception staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel receptionist was so helpful in arranging a pick up breakfast bag , as we had to leave early) for a sightseeing trip. The hotel breakfast was very fresh, there was a selection of cold and hot food./ drinks. The hotel is on a main road so there is some road noise.. Only a short (10 min) walk from the old town and Piata Universitatii were some of the daily bus trips departed from. We would recommend the hotel Lido by Phoenicia. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was small but cozy, clean, and very comfortable. For a reasonable price, breakfast was included, although I didn’t get the chance to try it. All bathroom essentials were provided, and when I requested an iron, it was brought to my room very quickly - great service overall. The location is another big advantage. There are several nice restaurants and a good cocktail bar just around the corner. I especially liked the places nearby - it’s a great area to walk around and explore. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a comfortable and well-located place to stay

The only downside: the soundproofing of the room doors could be much better. Noise from the hallway was quite noticeable, and this could be uncomfortable for light sleepers
