The room is spacious, comfortable and warm.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Actually we booked this hotel especially for its location.

The room was booked for 3 adults and one of us had to sleep on a folding bed. The swimming pool is very small and when we decided to visit, it was full of families and small children splashing water everywhere and shouting. There were not enough chaise longs and we had to leave. On Sunday morning there are swimming lessons and the hotel guests are not allowed to use the pool.

Gym was disappointing need to invest in better quality equipment re guarding the weights. Room was nice untill you open curtains see how dirty the windows are on the outside. Need invest in a window cleaner

Well maintained business hotel 500m from the city center with a parking place in front and direct access from the main road. The hotel hosts a Spa center with indoor pool and gym. The breakfast was amazingly rich and tasty. The staff was friendly and supportive in all areas (reception, spa, restaurant). Our rooms were exactly how described, modern, spacious and fitted fully our demands includig rich filled minibar. Recommendation: In the later afternoon during weekdays a dinner buffet is offered, which is really worth to explore.

Unfortunately we did not get a massage these two days because there were too many reservations. So if you would like to get a spa treatment, you need to book some days in advance. The reception may help you wit that.

A very comfortable hotel downtown Craiova with a business focus. Special kudos goes to Andrei, the bartender that went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We did enjoy the SPA facilities, that were very clean and uptight kept by the staff.

I did not appreciate that at the business center, due to multiple conferences being held, some of our attendees were told off in a rude manner by the events staff about certain coffee machines that belonged elsewhere than to our conference. A simple sign would have been sufficient, not a rude behavior! Also, during our lunch break, at the hotel restaurant, staff were very slow, even though the restaurant was nearly empty and they brought the soup croutons after we served the soup. Total lack of attention.

We stayed at Ramada Plaza Craiova for two nights while visiting the Craiova Christmas Market, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with just a few drawbacks. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Christmas Market, which made our holiday outing convenient and enjoyable. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed, including an espresso machine, which was a lovely touch. I also appreciated the modern bathroom and the ability to control the AC to my preference. One highlight of our stay was the small SPA center, which featured a swimming pool, sauna, and steam bath. It was a great way to relax for an hour or two in the mornings before starting our day. The breakfast was super delicious, and I was delighted with the variety and quality. The smoothies, espresso, and selection of cheeses were particularly impressive and made for a delightful start to the day.

However, there were a couple of downsides. The beds were surprisingly small. As a relatively slim and not very tall woman, I still felt like I was sleeping in a child’s bed, which impacted my comfort. Additionally, my room was quite noisy—there was a club nearby, and on Friday night, I couldn’t fall asleep until the early hours of the morning due to the noise. While the amenities and location were excellent, the small beds and noise level detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

First of all, the location is perfect. Minutes from the Christmas markets and all the other sights. We stayed in an Executive King Room and it was really spacious and very comfortable. After a tiring day and night out in the city, we were able to sit on the sofa and watch TV in our room. There are enough amenities in the room. The bed is extremely comfortable - like heaven :) The bathroom is big and comfortable, as well. We stayed there in January and the room was warm enough. There is adjustable air-condition in the room. The breakfast lounge is really elegant with a beautiful design. The breakfast is tasty with lots of variety. There is a huge parking area in front of the hotel and it is free of charge for the hotel guests.

There was one long black hair on the bathroom countertop (probably belonging to the cleaning lady). The reception staff was unfriendly and far from being kind. For example, the male staff member who was on duty while we were checking out (3rd January, 2025) wasn't in his place when we went there. When we asked around where the reception staff was, we were told that he went to the toilet. Ok, it is natural that he would have needs but the absence of another person at the reception of a 4-star hotel who could check us out was weird. We waited for like 10 minutes. And when he came back, he didn't even say a word of apology for keeping us waiting. He didn't even smile or say good-bye during the check-out. That wasn't a good point for a brand-name like Ramada-Wyndham.

The location is just 5 minutes away by taxi from the train station and around 6 minutes walk to the Christmas markets. Room was very nice with a good view, clean and well stocked both the mini bar and the bathroom. We had to take a packed breakfast as we checked out before 7:00 to catch a train and the put their heart to it. We had a meal at the restaurant and the service and food was top. Large parking available if needed. Staff was very polite and helpful.

The room was too hot. the heating was stitched off and still during the night we felt like the bed was on fire. We prefer a bit of coolness to sleep. Unfortunately you cannot shift to cooling.

The food ordered to the room was very good and the breakfast as well. Alex, the manager from Room Service was so professional and courteous . He surprised me so much for my birthday. Along with the food ordered, he brought a small cake on a decorated platter. Also, a written post card with the picture of the hotel along with many thoughtful wishes. I would like to express my gratitude towards him and many thanks for the wonderful gesture. THANK YOU!!!!

Very good restaurant, diverse breakfast, very helpful staff, good location close to city center and botanical garden

The wing where it was my room was under refurbishment and old beds were replaced but negligently left on the hollway.

Nice and clean hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and excellent service - all is by the standards for this hotel chain, which you may expect. Very rich breakfast with wide variety of options, also regular menu's meals in the restaurant were delicious. Parking is a great benefit, and was free for us as guests.

As it's more or less an events hotel, there was parties hosted and because our room was at the first floor over the restaurant we was a kind a part of it :) Not very annoying or long-lasting, but still uncomfortable a bit.
