Nice room, friendly staff

On the evening of our arrival, we went out for dinner( luckily) when returning shortly after 9 we found the restaurant/ wine bar bursting full with screaming children- which remained the same till about 11 o’clock The closing time of a hotel/ wine bar at 10 was already disappointing - then instead of a cozy twosome glass of wine it felt like being in a Youth Hostel on a class excursion Totally unacceptable… breakfast wasn’t overwhelming either

Everything was perfect, super clean, staff is very hospitable, and very very very nice with my dog! Pet friendliness is a great plus, but also they score really high at cleanliness and staff friendliness. Location is extremely nice, in the very centre, near a newly refurbished park. The Danube promenade is only 5 minutes away. There is the possibility to order food in the room from a great variety of good restaurants in the city.

The hotel has an exceptional location, right in the middle of the city. They have great beds and the face lift of the hotel was a good one. Also, the service is good, personnel is kind and does whatever is available to serve the requests of the clients.

For a 4 star hotel and having the Mercure standard, it's really a pity they serve that kind of breakfast. It was not the first time I've been hugely disappointed, it's not so hard to put together few quality ingredients, not reinventing the wheel with salads that nobody eats for breakfast. Instead, making sure you have some decent (not cold) scramble/ fried eggs, some decent (not also cold) sausages and ham, maybe more options for bread and a good butter not the cheapest in the market would totally help a lot. Otherwise, the 80 eur per double room are paid just for the position and the bed quality.

An excellent location, I chose it for its location, the rooms, the reception, the restaurant are exactly as in the pictures! Clean everywhere, you have everything you want, good food and nice people who always smile at you and make you feel good! Congratulations to the team and management, keep it up!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. The property was clean and well-maintained. Worth the money

The bathroom door lock broke, and I was locked in for 30-40 minutes! They couldn't find the key, so they had to break the lock to release me. It was clear that the door had a problem; if regular maintenance had been done, this wouldn't have happened.

Location is great, right in city center and steps away from the Danube; we liked that we could bring our dog along (there’s a tax/night) and the staff was really nice and welcoming, more than with other hotels we experienced before in the city. The rooms are modern and comfy and breakfast was also really good.

There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, not sure if just ours or all rooms have the issue; nothing huge but would be good to fix.

One of my fave properties in Romania. Their staff is incredibly well prepared, kind & hospitable. They are dog friendly and they try to help with everything. The rooms are super clean & the location is the best for the city - the very centre, with nice restaurants nearby, coffee shops, a small park etc.

The location is exceptional for a stay in Galati, the facility was clean , modern , bed was very comfortable , good pillow selection.

The shower cabin was not up to standard and on the bottom edge it had some dark spots that could be from mold . Breakfast didn't have a great selection and the coffee wasn't good.

Super clean and resting, comfortable bed & bed sheets, quiet if you have a room on the back side of the hotel (not at the front, on the main street), great location (the very centre of the city, close to a small park, the historical centre & close to the Danube riverside). A big plus is they love dogs!

From a mercure hotel you expect a good, clean and comfortable accommodation and that it had. But this hotel was better due to the super friendly staff. I really enjoyed. Location was also very good everything is at walking distance.
