I had a great experience at the Golden Tulip Dammam Corniche. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade upon checkin. The hotel staff are kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and all facilities in excellent condition. The bed, pillows and beddings were very cosy and comfortable making for great sleep. The location of the hotel is right in front of the corniche park with lots of restaurants and shopping options around.

The breakfast was poor with limited options and replenishments was slow . I wish something can be done about this.

Ideally located in the city centre, easy distance to the main city sites. A small grocery store and some lovely restaurants nearby. Our room was very spacious with a large double bed and good-quality bed linen. Excellent pillows. The AC was working well, and a large complimentary bottle of water helped a lot.

The bathroom sink faucet malfunctioned, and the first night there was only cool water in the shower. It would be great to have the room cleaned and towels changed every day. We had only one towel and one pair of slippers, though the room was booked for two people. Thanks to the amazing personnel, most of these issues were quickly resolved.

I normally don't even consider hotels with review scores below 8 but I'm glad I made an exception. This is actually a very nice place to stay and is very convenient as a tourist. If one travels like I did now (walking around and taking public transport), the Golden Tulip is an excellent choice. It's almost next to the Corniche, it's within walking distance both to Marina Mall (where the G7 airport bus stops) and to the SAPTCO bus station. I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, check-in was smooth, breakfast was plentiful, anyone I interacted with spoke good English. My room on the 5th floor was very spacious and it had a wonderful view over the Corniche. The aircon worked well and wasn't noisy, the bathroom was clean and stocked with amenities, complimentary water/tea/instant coffee were provided.

I really liked this hotel and did not experience problems with cleanliness, but it does indeed look a bit dated and worn around the edges, that's the only reason I didn't give 10 points. Also, while it's certainly not the hotel's fault, note that even though the Corniche is very near, it's not that straightforward to reach it on foot as Dammam is not really a place for pedestrians.

- very spacious accommodation - more of a serviced apartment than a hotel room - good value for money - breakfast was not included in the booking but reasonably priced and kids ate for free (good selection but would have been nice to have some fruit)

Nothing to do with the property per se but it’s a shame that there’s no pedestrian access to the corniche from the hotel.

Good location at the Corniche. Very modern, clean and elegant hotel. Spacious well equipped room. The rooms to the backside of the hotel are very quiet. Nice stuff. Nice breakfast area.

The air conditioning is too loud. It's quite impossible to cross the streets around the hotel in order to visit Corniche board walk, McDonald's and KFC. But this is not the fault of the hotel. Take a taxi when you want to go to those places.

The hotel is in the center of the city area with a wonderfull sea view from the rooms. The rooms were clean and neat. Value for the money spent

There could have been more items like towels, dental kits etc placed in the room prior to our arrival as it was already known in the booking that was done

small pool, always busy 2 swimming instructors with kids, but hey.... sauna and steambath did not work or people put their shoes in ...

Well behaved staff!! Got free upgrade to a studio which was decent sized and comfy

Breakfast was average, plus dammam airport is a bit far from the property as its in middle of the city u can expect heavy traffic during office hours

Nice location Great view from the hotel Opposite of Indian Malabar restaurant where you can have indian vegetarian and non vegetarian food easily. From airport you can get bus service which will drop just 1km near to hotel in just 4SAR.. Loved the place..

They provide you smart TV but functions don't work properly.

Swimming pool.. excellent service by Hotel staff especially Husnein bell boy and Hussain on reception

Everything overall was great.. except the Bath tub was slightly uncomfortable
