I was very happy about being able to bring my cat, and the affordability of bring my pet ( has medical problems can't be left home alone). Very clean room. Located near the Hyatt Regency where I attended AnimeIowa. This is my 3rd year staying here. The prices are affordable and you get breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. When we needed extra stuff or other help/questions they where on top of it.Loved the Welcome AnimeIowa Sign. I will be staying here again next year.

I had to park in the lower lot and had to walk all the way to the end of the hotel where you first pull in. I didn't like it, but I understand( came back late at night), due to the hotel being full for the AnimeIowa Convention.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The front desk staff was amazing. They have a very large complimentary breakfast as well. The rooms are large, and rooms and common areas are kept meticulously clean. I forgot my leather jacket and housekeeping had it ready at the front desk when I returned to retrieve it.

There was a male employee sitting in the pool area the entire time we were in the pool. It was just my friend and I in there. We're both female. It appeared as tho he was taking pics on his fon, super creepy. We didn't know he was an employee until our second stay.

Traveled here with the whole family for my student to visit the University of Iowa. Hotel was short drive to campus, rooms were clean and had everything we needed, staff responded fast when we needed a light bulb and a plunger, breakfast was fresh and had what we wanted. We used the pool and the fitness room every day. Close to walking paths by the river. We expect to stay here again when we visit over the next four years, especially considering the price.

Wish there was a hot tub. Husband prefers a firmer bed, but I liked it.

The breakfast was very good and very adequate. My room was clean and comfortable. I didn’t have time to check out the pool and wasn’t aware if there was a hot tub.

My window was bad so I couldn’t see out. Had moisture between the panes. Assume just due to the age of the building. Nort really a big deal.

Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.

Card reader for the door did not work at first, had to get assistance. TV channel connection was intermittent, channels were often "unavailable" for periods of time throughout my stay. Kleenex not well stocked, ran out after a few tissues.

We had a handicap room because my friend Is In a wheelchair & the bathroom was fine except the toilet was a little low for her.. The room the beds also were to low for her & the room Its self was to small for a wheelchair but we managed

Nice clean hotel with a very friendly staff. Good breakfast, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, cereal and more.

$50 DEPOSIT, REALLY? Secured the deposit immediately, but took 3 days for the charge to fall off my credit card. To many other nice hotels in the area who don't require a deposit.

Location was excellent for the purpose of my surgery. Breakfast options were good.

Was disappointed with the shower in the evening. Took over 10 minutes for the water to heat up. there was also a faint sewer smell. Was also a little disappointed the windows wouldn’t open for fresh air.

Staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Biscuits & gravy, waffles, eggs, bacon, fruits and more! The pool was heated, which was nice!

Only complaint I could have is parking, we would get back late (9/10pm) and the parking lot was packed, only a few spots in front of the hotel the rest were in the back by dumpsters

they were very accommodating and kind. i felt like they went beyond themselves to make sure we were comfortable, like bring bottler water to our room without additional charge. they also seemed very understanding and accommodating when we needed to cancel our reservation the next day due to schedule charges . breakfast was hot and delicious, and room was comfortable and clean .
