October 2023
We enjoyed the entire suite. It was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfy. We appreciated that there were so many appliances and dish ware to make us feel more at home and help save us money especially on breakfast and coffee/tea! The spa was nice too! We also loved the local coffee (caused us to go buy some!) as well as lots of extra shampoo etc.
We only had two things we didn’t love. 1. we were in Aurora and it was kind of annoying to have to go into the parkade to go from our suite to the lobby or pool or to the bow part where our family was. 2. The pool wasn’t very exciting for a resort this fancy but we’re glad there was a pool.

Comfortable bed and linens, clean, comfortable, great suite amenities, nice little deck with clean out door furnishings. Large bathtub, spacious, easy to manage room temperature, good parking options
Disappointed that there is a 10 am check out with no negation of leaving after 11 Not even standard 11 am check out. When you pay good money for a place to sleep and you are on VACATION- you should have the option to sleep in and have breakfast in the condo. By the time we tried to relax and eat our breakfast- we were stressed trying to follow the early check time . You should change this. This is a condo with kitchen amenities. No time for a shower, no time to relax, clean up, pack up It’s go- go-go We were irritated by this. Made our morning very busy instead of relaxed. I won’t stay here again they allow at least 11 am check out.

The layout, the decor in the room, I thought there was a clawfoot tub but these ones were also really nice.
Being told on day 2 they dont restock your room, you only get coffee one day, considering the price of the room coffee could be included. We moved the chaise in the second room and there were other people's clothes under it. The BBQ has never been cleaned and it smoked out the whole area and the couches don't get cleaned under I was doing yoga in the living room and under the couch is a HUGE spill of something that has been there a WHILE. The pool and hot tub desperately need a revamp. Feels very Prisony.

Suites / Apartments are very well equipped. Beds very comfortable. We were in the middle of our stay in Canada, washing machine and dryer helped a lot. Resort has a small pool, kids used it and had a great fun. Gym is very nice, opened only till 19:00 during our stay. Parking is in the underground garage, elevator and you are in the room..
Check-in is online, if something doesn't work and you came to facility, no one is there to help. Service line / chat are working well. A bit longer distance to the city centre (30min).

The guest suite was lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room that offered a mountain view, which was a wonderful bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hallway carpets looked outdated, and the couch in our suite was very worn, with faded fabric. Parking is limited to one spot per suite, so if you have two vehicles, you’ll need to find street parking. For the nightly rate, it was also disappointing that no complimentary water bottles were provided.

We splurged a bit on the Solara as it's not cheap but we based ourselves here for our Rocky Mountain excursions. We had a huge apartment with 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, 2 balconies - 1 with bbq, washing machine and dryer, TVs in all rooms and fireplaces in all rooms. We had a very comfortable stay here and enjoyed the pool and spa. Robes and towels provided.
The Solara is on the outskirts of town so it's a bit of a walk to the Down Town area. We didn't like to find a daily charge on our credit card of almost CAD16 which was for "bear spray, rent of kayaks or surfboards.." and other things we told them we weren't going to use. Everyone gets charged this but there is no mention of it beforehand. You have to walk through the garage to get to the reception/pool areas, which feels a bit odd.

A really spacious and modern two-bedroom apartment. Fully equipped in the kitchen, living room and bathrooms for a long stay. Comfortable beds and furniture meant we enjoyed our time inside. The resort is towards the edge of Canmore, so is quite peaceful. It was an easy level walk into town, or a very short drive. Parking was easy in the underground garage. We thought the resort was very good value for everything we got.
The indoor pool was awkward to get to from our block in the complex - but was fine when you got there.

We were traveling with our 2 teens so we opted for the 2 bedrooms and pullout which was perfect. It had a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer plus 2 bathrooms and 2 terraces and 3 fireplaces. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location in Canmore was great. You could walk to main street but it is a good 15-20 minutes. The scenery was amazing and much less crowded than Banff.
The pool was small compared to the hot tub. There are no keycards- you need to use a 7 digit number which was a little inconvenient.

Absolutely lovely, we stayed two nights, but we wish it was longer. The attention to detail was excellent. There was everything we could need. The coffee machine and brand of coffee were as good as we have at home. The bath, shower, and toiletries were good. The bed was comfortable. The appliances were all modern and in good working order. The private balcony was so nice to cook our BBQ and enjoy the mountain view. The free undercover car park was handy.

Spacious, good price.
Small pool, we couldn't use it due to it being always over capacity. It was the main reason we chose our stay at Solara, because it had a pool. There was only one busy elevator. For the family of 6 we got a very small frying pan which was unwashed by the previous occupants. It was left dirty in the drawer, covered in burnt eggs. It took us an hour to make some breakfast:). The mattress was semi ok. The door to the hall way had gaps all around that was leaking light at night which was waking me up. The lock between our room and kids was not working so that didn't give us, adults, any privacy to enjoy our weekend.
