A wonderful, family-run inn... Warm welcome and comfortable room. We had reserved a small room overlooking the street and water on the second floor (first floor from the back of the building... There is no elevator) and the room was perfect for us. There is a living room on the same floor open to everyone, with armchairs, a fridge, water and the possibility to make coffee or tea. The breakfast, included in the room price, is "à la carte" with a nice choice of items such as different kinds of egg dishes, potatoes, fruits and toasts. A great way to start the day!

A word of caution: on Booking.com, it is said that the room will be paid in full with your credit card before arrival, but it is not true... You pay there and only debit cards are accepted. Fortunately, we had a debit card with us, but otherwise, it would have been a problem since North Hathley is very small and we didn't see an ATM nearby... So, be prepared...

It was all good. The first time we have stayed at this hotel and will again, if we get back to North Hatley. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The morning we were to check out, the town was out of power and the owner accommodated us with croissants and tea for breakfast as there was no way they could cool the normal breakfast. We let him know that he went above and beyond for the guests and we really did appreciate that.

The location, comfort, cleanliness of our room upon arrival and breakfast were wonderful!

Upon checkin we were told that we could not pay by credit card...only by debit or cash. Our vacation plans were made expecting to take advantage of our credit card travel credits. Although the room had instructions about how to leave towels for replacement, we were not informed ahead of time that due to the fact we only stayed 2 nights, they would not be refreshing our room or towels during our stay, therefore we only had crumpled damp towels to use the second night (otherwise we would asked for replacements before leaving for the day or we would have hung them up for reuse the second day).

The breakfast was outstanding- we were able to order the breakfast from a lovely variety on the menu. The entree came with a mini-smoothie as well as a fruit cup with a saucer of chocolate sauce- Delicious! The location is perfect- very central to the lovely town of North Hatley. The room was impeccably clean and inviting with lovely bedding.

I can't think of anything that could be improved upon.

The location was lovely but the town its self was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was very good. I'm sure you hear this alot , an English menu would be nice. I can get one any where else in the world. Quebec you need to do better. It's very inhospitable.

My bed was very uncomfortable. The light on the air conditioning unit was extremely bright. Like a beacon shining down over the entire room .

The location was perfect, on the main intersection right in front of the river and the main restaurant/pub. Cute little B&B with super nice staff and a cute decor.

The bed could've been more comfortable. The building is over 100 years old so the creaking was to be expected. Anyone walking upstairs above our room or sneezing in the room next door could be heard very clearly, as well as vehicles on the street. For payment, they only accept cash or debit despite booking online with a credit card.

The premises were dated but very charming and clean. Great location. The breakfast was excellent.

No air conditioning. The room and bathroom were very small and cramped. The bed was not particularly comfortable. Shoes were not allowed in the room and had to be left outside on the corridor.

Nice place in a beautiful location. Clean and well-run.

I was not quite sure what was and was not included with breakfast. Also, they asked that I use a debit rather than credit card and then I was asked to make a tip (18, 20 or 22%) which I have never seen before in a hotel. I chose "other" and made a 10% tip and got the feeling I may have offended the manager, although maybe that is my imagination.

Very charming place, very comfortable and nicely decorated, super nice hosts, delicious breakfast included, good coffee, amazing view, nice hiking/kayaking/paddle board/biking close by...what can i say, my husband and i love this place, we try to return at least once a year!

Breakfast was excellent. There was a little serving of delicious chocolate included with breakfast. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a nice view of the lake.

No complaints at all.
