The hotel has a great location because while having a private beach area which takes 2 minutes to get to from your room by using the cute spiral staircase at the end of the terrace (where you can have breakfast (highly recommend to pay extra for it, worth it!)/lunch (very reasonably priced compared to the prices in the city, since the food is priced on the higher-side in general there I would say)/dinner with an incredible view of the sea), it also has some tables right in front of the beach and you get free access to the beach beds as guests of the hotel This place is perfect to have a chill weekend to take care of your mental&physical health and you can also explore the city center because a bus station that takes you there is just 3 minutes away by foot (it takes around 30 minutes by bus to get to the city, but you can also always just order an uber (they are not expensive at all there) and be there in quicker), so you can wake up, have a lovely breakfast and go on guided tours to kayak/paddle at night (44 euros), to see the national parks with waterfalls (15-45 euros), to got the the nearby island town Bol and so on (check the ferries schedule)! What is also worth mentioning is that it is a family owned business and everyone was so nice to us! They were always answering any concerns we had and honestly, it is the little things that make the experience and show you that the hosts care about you and we definitely felt it<3 If you are cold there is an AC there that has a heating mode, if you are cold you can use it to cool down, you also get daily cleaning as a nice bonus All in all, definitely would visit again! P.S. it is quite romantic, perfect for couples/honeymoon vacation (and there we were with my friend playing uno ahahah and jumping around in the water)

The only thing was that our room had a tree/road view and we did not have a place to dry our clothes (we just the shower/window for that) (but there are rooms with sea view and balconies, dont worry), but honestly, to get the sea view we just had to go to the terrace, so it is all okay, did not have a negative impact on our experience And just a general tip (not a disadvantage): bring crocs/water shoes/flip flops for the beach because it is not a sandy one, it consists out of those small rocks that hurt a bit to walk on barefoot ahahha

I chose this location for a mini vacation of a few days after the reviews. I'm glad I chose this place where everything was perfect. A family business with people always with a smile on their faces, always ready to help you, chic and tastefully arranged location right next to the beach, exceptional cleanliness in the rooms and in all the locations and sensational food. As an Executive Chef, I had an exceptional culinary experience, experiencing every night a menu with several super tasty dishes. I recommend and when I come to Croatia again, I will stay here again. During the day you go down directly in front of the hotel where you have free sunbeds from the hotel and in the evening you can sit on the sofas by candlelight on the beach right in front of the hotel where the sunbeds are during the day. About the beach I can say that it is a beach that stretches for about 10 km, with white pebbles, not sand, with clean water. And near the hotel, about 2-300 meters away, there is a center with interesting water activities and many locations where you can serve ice cream, drinks, even fresh drinks. There are several mini markets in the area a few hundred meters away.

Pansion Martin was a delight. Martina was an exceptional host, so welcoming and helpful, and the rest of the team were just as friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to offer recommendations for day trips, help with buses and just make sure we had everything we needed. Our balcony had a stunning view of the idyllic beach (it’s shingle, not sand - so a pair of jelly shoes is a good idea!) and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs cooked just the way you like them and plenty of choice to start the day. There are lots of lovely bars and restaurants along the waterfront to enjoy too, all just a short stroll away. We took the bus from practically outside the hotel to Omis (only 2 euros each) - a stunning town. The Krka waterfalls are also well worth a visit - absolutely majestic. And Split is just 10km away, or a quick and easy Uber ride for around 9–12 euros. All in all, a really lovely stay. Highly recommend - and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Martina!

Amazing location, amazing onwers! OK, first this amazing hotel (B&B to us in England) is just what you need for a amazing time in Croatia in the Split region. Why? Room's are comfortably, clean and if you ask for room 104 you will get exclusive short cut (stairs) to main area/beach and also a amazing sea view with balcony. You will feel very welcome by onwers and they do go a extra mile for you to feel at home. Breakfast is excellent and if you are at higher/medium season you will be offered half board with a very competitive price compared to local restaurants. I come in October unfortunately no dinner avaliable at this time, but still plenty options near by and for a couple you are looking to dinner for (including drinks) around £35/£50. No car need (but they do have car parking) Why I say no car need? They have a urban bus (number 60) that goes to Split or Omis. Tip* use Google maps and click at bus stop to see precise times the bus arrives. They have a bus either direction every 30 minutes and to Split is 15kuna (£1.75) and it is a very reliable service. You also have the Uber options around (£9 - £12) to Split. Beach, Uauuu, Uauuu, Uauuu! Clear water, calm sea, nice temperatures even in October!!! We also went one day excursion to Krka National Park (know as Krka waterfalls tour) about 200kn (£23 the tour guide and bus + entrance fee of 85kn £10 (160kn at high season) . We have got ours from a agency call Flarent, they have 2 offices around the Port in Split. Just remember if you go to Split by bus get off at bus stop "Pazar 1" and when you return to hotel get off the bus at bus stop "Grbavac 2" 😉 So in or 6 days at Pansion Martin we enjoyed the beach/sea for 4 days and spended 1 day around Split and Omis (by urban bus) and 1 day at National Park.

What a beautiful family run beachfront property with balcony. Our room was large and clean. Beautiful dining area with outdoor patio and access to beach. Breakfast is included with stay and you have the option to purchase dinner. The food was amazing and fresh! We had dinner one night and enjoyed a fresh grilled sea bass with risotto and fresh vegetables. It was amazing! Everyone we came in contact with greeted you with a smile and were very kind. There is parking on site. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right by the sea. It was beautiful to have breakfast with such an incredible view. A big plus are the free sunbeds that are provided by the hotel. The food was super delicious as well. The family owning the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the very beginning. You don't need a car because you can either take an Uber/Taxi or the bus to visit Split.

The hotel itself was great, nothing we didn't like. We went in August and the price to quality ratio didn't fully match - but we saw the prices for other months and they are very fair. The prices in August are in general high in Podstrana, so it's not the fault of the hotel. We would come back during another month :-)

The location, right by the sea, we liked everything very much. Very good breakfast(always everything fresh and fragrant) we also appreciated the offer of salàtas, pizza, meat board👌, all completely top. We can highly recommend Pansion Martin. Great value for money! We loved the beach. Not crowded at all. Breakfast wasnt over the top but had many options. Easy access to Split via Uber. Overall - we are very satisfied with our choice in Podstrana...

The standard room is small. But the upgrade we were offered was out of our price range. So we got what we paid for. Im from Sweden and not to fond of people smoking during breakfast and lunch. But when in Rome...
