Loved how the resort is literally located on the Agonda beach, one of the cleanest beaches in Goa. The staff members were helpful and always welcomed us with a smile. It was a great experience staying here. Would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, but the rooms were not cleaned. Ideally, the hotel staff should clean the rooms every day as it’s located on the beach and people generally bring back all the beach sand inside the rooms.

Location and Staff - If you are seeking a genuine and humble experience, I highly recommend Sea Star Resort in Agonda. Our stay was made even more delightful by the warm hospitality of the staff, as well as the wonderful New Year’s Eve food and celebration organised for the guests. The pictures of the property on Booking.com are not reflective of the reality. Huts could do with an upgrade. The dogs of Agonda beach can be immensely irritating at night with the cacophony of howling and barking and roaming through the resort grounds and sleeping on porches. Not much that Sea Star can do and this issue affects all properties on Agonda beach.

We book a beach hut with a sea view. There is a big room and a bathroom here. The place is basic (a bit too basic for the price offered on booking.com) but quite nice and clean. They tidy it on a daily basis and change the linen and towels three times while our eight-days stay. The hut is on the beach which is nice with gold sand. However, there are cows walking on the beach so it is dirty. Water in the ocean is clean and warm. There is a restaurant at Seastar serving tasty Indian food, so good that we don't even want to check other restaurants. Breakfast is included and it's also good, there are a few options to choose from. And there is a barman, making delicious drinks and three waiters, serving our food who are very nice and polite. I really like them. So if you want to chill out from your everday life, this place is perfect.

Everything! Most the people. They were extremely helpful for any request. Very kind and after 9 weeks there we felt like family! The cabins were set in luscious greenery which led straight onto a pristine nature beach. Each cabin had its own small verandah which provided shade. The bed was so comfy, easily the most comfortable bed I have slept in in India (genuinely). Lovely big bathroom. Room cleaned & linens changed very regularly. It is one of the best holiday stays I have experienced. Paradise!

the property is bang on the agonda beach . We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days . The view from the property is amazing, the setup they do at the night on the beach is awesome candle night dinner . The best part of the property is the staff , Manager Sunny is s lovely polite and humble guy always there to help you . The drinks he made specially the beer coctail is fabulous our day used to start with that drink . The food is super awesome the staff is exceptional. Anything you need and in there capacity they are always ready to help . totally recommended will be visiting myself again

The view from the large balcony looking onto the ocean. Going to sleep hearing the waves. The restaurant was good value serving up delicious cocktails and food. The staff super friendly. Comfortable large bed with great air conditioning.

The elevated bungalows have thin walls. We only had 1 night with an inconsiderate neighbour playing music till late.The other nights were quiet. You are at the mercy of your neighbours though Perhaps a sign in the rooms reminding people to be considerate with noise would help.

The restaurant whilst superficially appearing to be part of the complex is effectively a separate business to Sea Star and is owned by a very friendly gentleman called Sunny, who manages a great team of staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always served as per our requirements and the tandoori chicken was excellent as was the goan prawn curry! Nice chilled ambience not marred by loud music, good food, polite staff all made this break memorable. Rooms( chalet/huts) whilst basic are clean ( we had 3 huts) , have patios , hot water , and very large comfy beds covered by mosquito nets. A/C was a great bonus!

Given the resort is budget+ ( 3 star in my experience) then the restaurant fits well with the host business. Probably the only thing to improve is the payment methodology at the restaurant,as it relies on the client paying in cash or via mainly Indian Banking Apps . There is the option of settling the restaurant bills via the resort but I think it is more polite to settle directly with the restaurant owner. The huts are excellent value for money!

The staff and services were exceptional. Quiet evening at the beach was a USP. If you are not a typical tourist then this property is great to live on a beach kind of life. Towards the extreme right there is backwater where you can enjoy kayaking and Agonda is a long stretch of beach great for long walks with wonderful beach facing properties all along. The beach lane is also full of commercial places where you can get all you might need. The drive towards the property away from city center is also enjoyable.

For me, it was great but staying longer or with kids, an electric kettle or firmer mattresses could help. But I was with my sister and we hardly had any problems with the stay. The food is great but pricey.

I recently stayed at the Sea Star Resort for two days, and my experience was absolutely delightful. The bed felt like it was made for a perfect night’s sleep after a day of exploring. What stood out most was the breathtaking view from the room. Waking up to such an incredible sight was one of the highlights of my stay. The resort's hospitality was exceptional. The staff was attentive, always eager to assist, and genuinely friendly. I felt well taken care of during my entire stay, which added to the overall charm of the place. As a solo female traveler, I also appreciated how safe and secure I felt at the property. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff ensured my peace of mind. The Sea Star Resort is a gem. Whether you're traveling solo or with company, this is a place where you'll feel cared for and comfortable. I can't recommend it enough!
